미용전공대학생의 Holland 직업적 성격유형별 가치관이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 = Impact of Sense of Values on Career Maturity of College Students Majoring in Beauty by the Holland Occupational Personality Type

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper attempted to identify the impact on the sense of value on the career maturity of
college students majoring in beauty by the Holland occupational personality type. The data were
analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. A structural equation model was applied to identify
the impact of the sense of value on career maturity by Holland occupational personality type
and to analyze the confirmatory and exploratory factors. Among the Holland occupational
personality types, the college students majoring in beauty showed a higher ratio in social (S)
and artistic (A) types. For investigative (I), enterprising (E) and conventional (C) types of the
6 Holland occupational personality types, the value of materialism had a negative correlation with
career maturity. The higher the materialism value was with an emphasis on material possessions
and success as important goals andvalues in life, the lower career maturity was as the ability
to wisely select careers in consideration of personal ability and reality when making decisions
about careers. With respect to the social (S), artistic (A) and realistic (R) types, self-realizing,
practicality-oriented, relationship building-oriented, emotional, material-oriented and other-conscious
values had a positive impact on career maturity. Accordingly, it is necessary to determine an
approach to improve career maturity by developing a variety of programs and providing more
opportunities to college students majoring in beauty when they select a career to enable them
to explore an individual sense of value and determine the career suitable for each individual’s
interest and aptitude.
