모-자 불안의 세대 간 전이 가능성에 대한 문헌고찰 = Literature Analysis on Possibility of Anxiety Transmission from a Mother to Her Child

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this article was to reveal the mediator of anxiety transmission from a mother to her child through literature study. For this, two hypotheses were set as follows: (1) The mother's childrearing style can be a mediator to transfer mother's anxiety to her child, (2) Child's attachment made by a mother's childrearing style can be a channel to transfer a mother's anxiety to her child. The results demonstrated that the first hypothesis was verified by showing the fact that childrearing styles of anxious mother's and the one of anxious child's mother are the same. That is, mother's childrearing style could be a potential role of learning from the mother in the development of child anxiety. Next, the mother's childrearing actions affect attachment to her child; this attachment affects the child's anxiety, and the mother's attachment transfers to her child's. In conclusion, the hypothesis that the mother's anxiety is transferred to her child's anxiety through the two mediators, the mother's childrearing style and attachment, was verified.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어머니의 불안이 아동의 불안으로 세대 간 전이된다는 가설 및 그 원인적 매개요인을 문헌을 통해 고찰하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 다음과 같은 가설을 세웠다: (1) 어머니의 양육태도는 어머니의 불안과 아동의 불안 사이를 매개함으로써 어머니의 불안을 자녀의 불안으로 전이 시킬 것이다. (2) 어머니의 양육태도로 인해 형성된 아동의 애착은 어머니와 아동의 불안 사이를 매개함으로써 어머니의 불안을 자녀의 불안으로 전이시킬 것이다. 연구결과, 불안한 어머니의 양육태도와 불안한 아동의 어머니가 보이는 양육태도가 일치함을 보임으로써 불안한 어머니의 양육태도가 어머니의 불안을 아동에게 전이시켜 불안한 아동을 만든다는 가능성을 보여주었다. 즉, 어머니의 양육태도가 어머니의 불안과 자녀의 불안을 매개하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 또한 어머니의 불안에 의한 양육태도가 아동의 애착형성에 영향을 미치고 이렇게 형성된 아동의 애착이 아동의 불안에 영향을 미치게 되어 어머니의 불안이 아동의 불안으로 전이될 수 있다는 가능성도 보여주었다. 즉, 아동에게 형성된 애착이 어머니의 불안과 자녀의 불안을 매개하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 결과적으로 본 연구는 문헌고찰을 통해 어머니의 양육태도와 애착이 매개하여 어머니의 불안이 자녀의 불안으로 전이될 것이라는 전이 가능성을 제시하였다.
