These days, almost buildings have underground parking lots. But there is no regulation about smoke control system, so it is very dangerous when the sprinkler doesn't work at the firing situation. Therefore it needs to study about the smoke control system in the underground parking lot. We carefully compare the domestic standards and international standards and research the design cases of underground parking lots. Also we test in the underground parking lot with cold smoke to find out the smoke movement. With all the research we suggest the basic plan of smoke control system in the underground parking lot.

The high-rise buildings have merits to provide lots of spaces in central city, but it also have demerits to take a long time to evacuate and to have a bad influence on smoke control system. So it is necessary to research the improvement of smoke control system in high-rise building. The improvement of smoke control system is as follows : airtightness reducing the stack effect, plans of refuge floor and vertical division in inner vertical space, differential pressure standard reflected a fire situation, performance-based fire safety system design. These improvements apply to the high-rise building under construction, so it's improved that the pressure difference is more stable and the problems of differential pressure are better than before application.

Lately, there are various problems related to stack effect in high-rise buildings. Stack effect gives the bad influence to not only the function of the door opening and closing and the elevator's function, but also the pressurized smoke control system when firing. Therefore, it should be considered enough when the high-rise buildings are planned. This study tried to suggest the improvement method by analyzing the stack effect problems through the measuring on the spot and simulation, targeting C building in Gyunggi province. As a result, the integrated improvement method that all air passages are blocked at the same time was suggested. Namely, it was shown that improving the all doors' airtight + changing to the revolving door + installing the automatic door at the I underground elevator lobby + changing the velocity of the elevator for directors + installing the lobby at the elevatormachine room have the best effect in reducing the problems caused by the stack effect.

To reduce energy loss in cold water pipes of building mechanical systems is crucial for building energy consumption, and the relevant pipe insulation standards are intimated by the government. However, the latest standards were established in 2002, although the important of building energy conservation has been sharply magnified ever since. In this study, we propose a performance design method for the cold water pipe insulation. Based on the method, an approach to determine optimum insulation thickness for energy conservation and condensation prevention has been proposed.

The first step in reducing energy in a typical building is to choose the right equipment capacity. It is commonly used the heating and cooling load standard per unit area to select the capacity of the apartment’s equipment, which has been used since 1999 and 2012. Since insulation standards for building envelopes are constantly being reinforced every year, the required heating and cooling load in buildings is getting smaller, so it is necessary to review the currently used heating and cooling load standards. Based on the existing standards and previous studies, basic elements were derived. Dynamic heat load simulation was performed using the basic elements to identify the problems of the existing standards, and suggested the heating and cooling load standard per unit area of the apartment.

Recently, Environment-friendly building materials have been developed actively by building material companies. This research aims to present the basic data to develop environment-friendly building materials through the investigation and analysis on the emitted pollutants from building finishing materials. The emission factor of HCHO and VOC's was investigated on the environment-friendly 182 adhesives, 113 paints, 46 wooden flooring boards, and 33 wallpapers used in Korea. The results of the investigation indicate that Toluene, m,p-xylene, Ethylbenzene, o-Xylene, benzene, styrene which are specified as toxic VOC's showed high emission rate and Toluene is major pollutant emitted from most building finishing materials. The results of this research will be used as basic data when we develop environment-friendly building materials.

정보의 다양화와 급속한 정보량의 증가로 정보검색 시스템의 필요성이 중대되고 있다. 그러나 현재 시스템 자체로는 사용자들의 요구나 선호도를 만족시킬 수 없고 그만큼 사용자에게 편의성을 제공하지 못한다. E-mail의 정보를 보다 효율적으로 관리하기 위하여 사용자가 원하는 문서를 그룹핑하고 지식라인 생성이 가능한 문서 관리기 시스템을 생성해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 LSA기법을 이용하여 문서를 순차적으로 관리하고 유사한 지식을 그룹화 시키는 문서관리 알고리즘을 제안하고 사용자의 선호도에 맞는 알고리즘을 생성하기 위한 문서관리시스템을 설계한다.

These days, the super high-rise buildings construction plans are increased in Korea. But the stack effect in the super high-rise building interrupts the smoke control system's operation because of pressure difference, so it is more dangerous than the general building when firing. Therefore it needs to study about the pressure difference in the super high-rise buildings. We research the smoke control influence factor in the super high-rise building. Reflecting the influence factor, the simulation is practiced the case by case.
