A group art therapy shows positive effects to help mentally retarded adolescents improve self-expression. Before the therapy, they used only a few words doing basic communication such as 'greetings' and 'answering'. As the session go by , however, they express more autonomous communication, such as 'explaining', 'telling opinions about things and behaviors', and draw some discussions such as 'waiting for turns to talk'. These result show that a group art therapy proves to be effective in enhancing self-expression and peer relations of mentally retarded student, by providing them with various art media and chance to work with others in which they can make their desires satisfied, self expression improved, and try to understand and accept feelings of other group members while interacting with them. In spring of 2011, a worldwide series of lawsuits between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics concerning the design of smartphones and tablet computers began, later resulting in billions of dollars of damage in between them.1 More than 50 lawsuits were filed over 10 countries.2 “The smartphone war” is significant not only because it is a multi-billion dollar suit covering controversial intellectual property issues, but also because the series of cases which have been tried in various legal systems has revealed that technology cannot be defined in terms of national borders. In this paper, we will screen the timelines of cases in Korea, the United States, Australia, Japan, UK and Germany to draw an overview of the cases in each country regarding intellectual property rights on the popular handheld devices.

On March 17, 2014, the Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in the Democratic People`s Republic of Korea finished their investigation that lasted for approximately a year and submitted the final report to the 25th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. The international community now has arrived at the consensus that North Korea`s human rights violations can be no longer deemed as a domestic matter and demands international response. The Commission of Inquiry was assigned especially to investigate the constitution of crimes against humanity, and through collection of objective and fair evidence and investigation activities, affirmed North Korea`s human rights violations indeed are crimes against humanity. The final report also states that North Korea clearly failed its obligation to protect its people, so that the international community has the responsibility to protect (R2P) North Korean residents from crimes against humanity. Therefore the Commission of Inquiry recommended the North Korean case be referred to the International Criminal Court or a special tribunal be established to prosecute those responsible for North Korea`s human rights abuses. However, as China made clear its intention to veto the referral to the International Criminal Court in the United Nations Security Council, multifaceted activities and responses including diplomatic efforts to gain China`s support are necessary in order to effectively utilize this final report.
