본 논문에서는 화자 식별과 얼굴 인식을 이용하여 대규모 보안 시스템을 개발하였다. 인식 에러를 줄이기 위해 전 처리 화자 식별기로 DHMM(Discrete hidden Markov Model)을 사용하였고, 후 처리기에서는 얼굴 인식을 위해 신경망을 사용하였다. Visual C++MFC을 사용하여 Sound Card와 Digital camera를 제어하였다. 그리고 본 논문에서 개발한 프로그램을 사용하여 실시간으로 실험하였다. 본 논문에서 인식에 사용한 특징 벡터로는 Filter bank energy, LSF와 Cepstrum coeffient이고, 얼굴 인식의 대표 벡터는 2차원 Filter bank energy를 사용하였다. 실험에서 사용된 사람은 학교에서 무작위로 83명을 선택하였다. Test를 위해 2049개의 음성 데이터와 365개의 얼굴 이미지를 사용하였다. 복합 모델로 구성한 본 시스템은 등록화자에 대해 98.8%의 Access rate와 비 등록화자의 99.82%의 deny rate을 나타내었다. In this paper, we developed the large scale security system using speaker identification and face recognition. In order to reduce the recognition error we used DHMM(Discrete Hidden Markov Model) in speaker identification for pre-processor and neural network in face recognition for post-processor. To test the on-line performance of total system we directly controlled the sound card and the digital camera in the environment of Visual C++MFC. And we developed the program to test the performance of the system in real time. We used filter bank energies, LSF and cepstrum coefficients as the feature vectors of speech, and the 2-dimensional filter bank energies extracted in the range of the representative feature on face. In experiments, we randomly selected 83 persons in school, and then chosen 10 persons as an enrolled person and 73 persons as a non-enrolled person. So we tested 2049 speech data and 365 image data. It turned out that the hybrid system would have 98.8% access rates for the enrolled persons and 99.82% deny rates for the non-enrolled persons.

<P>Two metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) based on metal–organic cuboctahedra were prepared using a rigid <I>C</I><SUB>3</SUB> symmetric ligand, where Zn polyhedron-based MOF (PMOF-2(Zn)) did not show any significant gas sorption behavior, whereas the isostructural Cu polyhedron-based MOF (PMOF-2(Cu)) showed a large surface area of ∼4180 m<SUP>2</SUP> g<SUP>−1</SUP>, high hydrothermal stability, and very promising H<SUB>2</SUB> sorption properties.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>A copper cuboctahedron-based MOF (PMOF-2(Cu)) with exposed metal sites showed a large surface area, high hydrothermal stability, and promising H<SUB>2</SUB> sorption capacity. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=b909250a'> </P>
자가 산부식 프라이머 시스템 사용시 인산에 의한 부가적인 산부식이 미세누출에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of additional enamel etching with phosphoric acid on the microleakage of the adhesion of self-etching primer system. Class V cavity(4mm × 3mm × 1.5mm) preparations with all margins in enamel were prepared on buccal surface of 42 extracted human upper central incisor teeth. Prepared teeth were randomly divided into 3 groups. Group 1:no additional pretreatment with 37% phosphoric acid (NE). Group 2:additional pretreatment with 37% phosphoric acid for 10 seconds (E10s). Group 3:additional pretreatment with 37% phosphoric acid for 20 seconds (E20s). The adhesives(Clearfil SE Bond, Kuraray, Osaka, Japan) and composite resins(Clearfil AP X, Osaka, Kuraray, Japan) were applied following the manufacturer's instructions. All the specimens were finished with the polishing disc(3M dental product, St Paul, MN, USA), thermocycled for 500 cycles between 5℃ and 55℃ and resected apical 3mm root. 0.028 stainless steel wire was inserted apically into the pulp chamber of each tooth and sealed into position with sticky wax. Surrounding tooth surface was covered with a nail varnish 2 times except areas 1mm far from all the margins. After drying for one day, soaked the samples in the distilled water. Microleakage was assessed by electrochemical method(System 6514, Electrometer, Keithley, USA) in the distilled water. In this study, the microleakage was the lowest in group 1 (NE) and the highest in group 3(E20s)(NE<E1Os<E20s). But no statistically significant differences were found(p =0.5) On the basis of findings from this experiment, it can be concluded that additional enamel etching has nc influence on the microleakage of the adhesion of self etching primer system.

Objectives: This study aimed for establishing the discriminative criteria for Aucklandiae Radix, Inulae Radix, Vladimiriae Radix and Aristolochiae Radix, which can be confused as 'Mokhyang', because of similar appearances and synonyms. Methods: Morphological characteristics of dried herbal medicines were compared by macroscopic observation. To examine microscopic features of 'Mokhyang', paraffin embedding and the staining by using Ju's method were conducted. Physicochemical experiments were performed using HPLC analysis and antioxidant assay. Results: The types of stem, phyllotaxy and leaf shape were chosen as macroscopic criteria and the size, oil spots, color and root top as well as phloem and central cylinder were compared using microscopic features. The HPLC results showed different amounts of costunolide and dehydrocostuslactone among Aucklandiae Radix, Inulae Radix and Vladimiriae Radix. However, Aristolochiae Radix only contained aristolochic acid. The antioxidant assays also showed that Vladimiriae Radix exhibited strongest antioxidant activity followed by Aucklandiae Radix, Inulae Radix and Aristolochiae Radix. Conclusions: These results demonstrate that macroscopic, microscopic and physicochemical methods would be useful tools for the discrimination of 4 kinds of 'Mokhyang'.
Polymerization of Propylene over Solvay/Cp2TiMe2 Catalyst

Propylene polymerization behavior of a highly isospecific catalyst, Solvay/Cp₂TiMe₂, was investigated. Polypropylene from the Solvay/Cp₂TiMe₂ system showed higher I.I% with less dependence on reaction temperature than that produced from the Solvay/DEAC system.

To investigate the inhibitory effect of soybean and Korean traditional fermented soybean products on the chemically induced mutagenesis, we extracted soybean, Kanjang, Doenjang, Kochujang, and Chonkukjang with water, methanol and hexane. Inhibitory effect of extracts was assayed by the SOS chromotest using Escherichia coli PQ37 as a test strain. 4-nitroquinoline-1-oxide(4NQO), N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine(MNNG), and aflatoxin B_1(AFB_1) were used as mutagens. Methanol extracts showed relatively higher inhibitory effect than water and hexane extracts. Methanol extracts of soybea, Doenjang, Kochujang, and Chongkukjang showed inhibitory effect of 68.4, 96.3, 17.5, and 100.9%, against MNNG, and 28.6, 109.1, 41.3, and 101.8% against AFB_1., respectively. Doenjang methanol extract showed inhibitory effect of 51.0, 96.3, and 109.1% against 4NQO, MNNG, and AFB_1. Inhibitory effect of heat-treated Doenjang and Chongkukjang methanol extracts on the mutagenicity of MNNG and AFB_1 was remained over 95% of the inhibitory effect of heat-untreated extracts, demonstrating the heat stability of the potent antimutagenic activity.
