High Power Switchable Dual-Wavelength Linear Polarized Yb-Dozped Fiber Laser around 1120 nm

A single-and dual-wavelength switchable polarized Yb-doped double-clad fiber laser around 1120 nmbased on a pair of fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) is demonstrated. The polarization-maintaining (PM) linearcavity is composed of a double clad PM Yb-doped fiber (YDF) and a pair of PM FBGs. The laser canoperate in stable dual-wavelength or wavelength-switching modes due to the polarization hole burning(PHB) and the spatial hole burning (SHB) enhanced by the PM linear cavity. In dual-wavelength operation,the two orthogonally polarized wavelengths are centered at 1118.912 nm and 1119.152 nm, with an intervalof 0.24 nm and a signal to noise ratio (SNR) of 35 dB. The maximum output power is 14.67 W whenthe launched LD pump is 24 W corresponding to an optical efficiency of 61.1%. The lasing lines switchovermay be realized by adjusting the polarization controller (PC) fitted in the cavity. The two single-wavelengthsare 1118.912 nm and 1119.152 nm. When the injected LD pump is 24 W, the highest output powersare 7.68 W and 8.64 W corresponding to optical efficiencies of 32% and 36% respectively. The spectrallinewidth of the lasing lines are 0.075 nm and 0.07 nm, and the average numerical values of PER are20.3 dB and 19.9 dB, respectively.

Multimedia teaching is a new kind of teaching mode, it makes multimedia computer as the core, and includes sound, images, text and animation. In multimedia teaching, teaching is always the main body, and multimedia is to cooperate with the teaching. In this paper, we make empirical analysis of performance evaluation of the multimedia teaching, the study subjects is martial arts courses in colleges. The result shows that after experiment, the students’ psychological quality and body movement quality have very significant increase, Body function and body form has improved. At the same time, college students give a better evaluation of the multimedia class, so multimedia teaching is worth promoting.

A stirring bioreactor packed with a carbon fiber textiles (FT) biofilm formed by Bacillus subtilis was used to produce vanillin from ferulic acid. Biofilm formation was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The interactive effects of three variables on vanillin molar yield (M) and conversion efficiency of ferulic acid (E) were evaluated by response surface methodology (RSM) with a Box-Behnken design (BBD). The optimal conversion conditions with a maximum overall desirability D of 0.983 were obtained by a desirability function. Considering the actual operation, the confirmation tests were performed using the slightly modified optimal conditions (initial ferulic acid concentration 1.55 g/ L, temperature 35oC, stirring speed 220 rpm). The results showed that M and E were 57.42 and 93.53%, respectively. This was only 1.03% and 1.87%, respectively, different from the predicted values, confirming the validity of the predicted models. These revealed that the stirred packed reactor could be successfully used in vanillin bioconversion from ferulic acid.

Understanding the interaction between the star wheel arm and coal particles is important to efforts for improving the loading efficiency and reducing the energy consumption of the feeder star wheel. The interaction mechanism between the star wheel arm and coal particles is the theoretical basis of the research. First, the design method of the star wheel arm shape was provided, then a model of the star wheel was constructed with EDEM and a simulation structure. Finally, the influence of the parameters on loading efficiency and energy consumption was determined. Results have been shown that the coal particles in the active zone of the material pile exerts a fluidity effect on loading efficiency and torque. The loading efficiency and energy consumption have been increased with increase in the number of arm and height of the arm. The feeder inclination angle 14° is the best coal loading angle.
