        고사리뿌리 전분의 이화학적인 특성연구의 일환으로 실시된 물리적 특성시험 결과는 다음과 같다. 전분입자의 미구조의 결합력을 보기 위한 흡수도, 팽운력, 용해도 시험결과 감자전분이나 타피오카전분보다 강한 결합을 하고 있으며 곡류전분보다는 약하며 팽윤력이 single-stage pattern을 이루고 있었다. 가열에 의한 전분입자의 복굴절성 상실, α-아밀라아제에 의한 소화성 및 X-선 회절둥으로 전분의 호화과정을 살펴본 결과 55-60℃에서 호화가 시작되고 60~70℃에서는 95%이상 호화되었다. 또한 3~6%전분용액의 가열에 따른 점도변화를 amyl-ograph를 사용하여 실험한 결과 pasting temperature 62~68℃, 최고점도 80~840BU, 50℃로 냉각후의 점도는 110~555BU였다. 따라서 다른 전분에 비해서 점도가 낮으나 setback이 현저히 느렸다. 수분함량 50%의 전분겔의 경도는 팥 전분보다는 약하고 감자나 밀전분에 비해서는 현저히 높았다. 전분겔의 저장중 노화속도는 밀 전분보다는 느리고 파지오카 전분보다는 빨랐다. 고사리뿌리 전분은 팥 전분겔특성에 큰 변화를 주지않지만 노화를 억제하였고 밀 전분겔에 첨가시에는 겔의 경도가 저하되어 부드러워지는 경향을 보였다. The gelatinization phenomena of bracken root starch were examined by means of the loss of birefringence, degree of digestibility by amylase and X-ray diffraction. These results indicated that gelatinization temperature of the starch was 55∼60℃ and over 95% of starch were gelatinized at the temperature between 60 and 70℃. The swelling power of the bracken root starch was much less steeper than that of potato or tapioca starch. Amylograph data on the various starch concentrations showed the pasting temperature of 62∼68℃, peak height of 80∼840 Brabender unit (BU) and peak after cooling to 50℃ of 110∼555 BU. According to the information obtained from amylograph data, the bracken root starch showed low set back. The rate of retrogradation of the starch as tested by Texturometer was slower and faster than potato and tapioca starches, respectively.

        Electrochemical Behavior of Norfloxacin and Its Determination at Poly(methyl red) Film Coated Glassy Carbon Electrode

        A poly(methyl red) film-modified glassy carbon electrode (PMRE) was fabricated for determination of norfloxacin (NFX). The electrochemical behavior of NFX was investigated and a well-defined oxidation peak with high sensitivity was observed at the film electrode. PMRE greatly enhanced the oxidation peak current of NFX owing to the extraordinary properties of poly(methyl red) film. Based on this, a sensitive and simple voltammetric method was developed for measurement of NFX. A sensitive linear voltammetric response for NFX was obtained in the concentration range of 1 10-6-1 10-4 mol/L and the detection limit was 1 10-7 mol/L using linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). The proposed method possessed advantages such as low detection limit, fast response, low cost and simplicity. The practical application of this new analytical method was demonstrated with NFX pharmaceuticals.

        BENTONITE 를 첨가한 주물사의 기계적 성질의 변화에 관한 연구

        For the time being, many foundry shops in our country have been used naturally bonded clay sand as a molding sand. It is difficult to improve the quality of casting with the naturally bonded clay sand mold, compared with synthetic sand added bentonite as a binder. Most of the foundry shops in the developed country have been used synthetic molding sand for about 30 years. Recently, some foundries in our country where produce malleable cast iron have been used synthetic molding sand and other foundry shops are planning to use it to decrease casting defects. It is important and necessary to study mechanical properties of molding sand added bentonite as a binder in the foundry industry in our country. In this study, the mechanical properties of synthetic molding sands with the various amount of domestic bentonite were examined and tested.

        예비창업자의 창업가 학습, 사회적 자본과 창업지원제도가 창업의지와 행동에 미치는 영향 : 중국 대학생 창업을 중심으로

        Purpose- The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of pre-founder’s entrepreneur’s learning, social capital, and start-up support programs on the will of start-up and the start-up behavior in Chinese university students. Design/methodology/approach- For the purpose of this study, we examined two variables of experiential learning and cognitive learning as variables of entrepreneur’s learning. As variables of social capital, we examine three variables of norm, network, and trust. As variables of start-up support programs, we examined two variables of government start-up support programs and school start-up support programs. The data for this study were collected from the students of the founding clubs of five universities and students who participated in the start-up activities in Anhui province, China. The online survey was used as the data collection tool, and the collected data was analyzed using correlation analysis and regression analysis. Findings - First, entrepreneur’s learning, social capital excluding trust and start-up support programs have a positive effect (+) on the will of start-up. Two, it is shown that pre - founder ’s willingness to start up affects the start - up behavior positively (+). Three, entrepreneur’s learning, social capital, and start-up support programs have positive effects (+) on the start-up behavior through the will of start-up. The theoretical and policy implications of the findings of this study are discussed and suggestions for future research are suggested. Research implications or Originality- Theoretical and policy implications in this study are discussed and suggested for future research. First, we identified key antecedents to influence the will of would-be start-up, and examined the relationship between the will of start-up and the behavior of preliminary founders. Second, our findings suggest that entrepreneurial learning and institutional supporting program will be key factors to advance the will of behavior and to establish start-up company in the future.

      • Tumor Necrosis Factor-α 238 G/A Polymorphism and Risk of Hepatocellular Carcinoma: Evidence from a Meta-analysis

        Background: Tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$ (TNF-${\alpha}$) plays a very important role in the development and progression of cancer. Many epidemiological studies have evaluated associations between the TNF-${\alpha}$ 238 G/A polymorphism and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) risk, but the published data are inconclusive. Therefore, we performed the present meta-analysis. Methods: Electronic searches of several databases were conducted for all publications on the association between TNF-${\alpha}$ 238 G/A polymorphism and HCC through July 2012. Asummary odds ratio (OR) with its 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated to evaluate the strength of this association. Results: Eleven case-control studies with a total of 1,572 HCC cases and 1,875 controls were finally included in this meta-analysis. Overall, the TNF-${\alpha}$ 238 G/A polymorphism was significantly associated with increased risk of hepatocellular carcinoma in three genetic comparison models (For A versus G: OR 1.32, 95%CI 1.04-1.69, P = 0.02, $I_2$ = 40%; for AG versus GG: OR 1.32, 95%CI 1.02-1.71, P = 0.03, $I_2$ = 40%; for AA/AG versus GG: OR 1.33, 95%CI 1.03-1.72, P = 0.03, $I_2$ = 41%) when all studies were pooled. Subgroup analysis by ethnicity further showed that there was a significant association between the TNF-${\alpha}$ 238 G/A polymorphism and risk of HCC in Asians under three genetic comparison models (For A versus G: OR 1.30, 95%CI 1.00-1.68, P = 0.05, $I_2$ = 45% for AA/AG versus GG: OR 1.31, 95%CI 1.00-1.71, P = 0.05, $I_2$ = 46%). Conclusions: This meta-analysis provided convincing evidence that the TNF-${\alpha}$ 238 G/A polymorphism is associated with increased susceptibility to HCC. However, more well-designed studies with large sample size are needed to validate this association in Caucasians.

        Study on the Dominant Film-Forming Site Among Components of Li(Ni<sub>1/3</sub>Co<sub>1/3</sub>Mn<sub>1/3</sub>)O<sub>2</sub> Cathode in Li-ion Batteries

        Surface film formation on $Li(Ni_{1/3}Co_{1/3}Mn_{1/3})O_2$ cathodes upon oxidation of electrolyte during electrochemical cycling was investigated. Information on the important factors for film formation on the cathode can facilitate the design of additives that improve the properties of the cathode. Pyrazole is added to the electrolyte because it is readily oxidized to form a surface film on the cathode. The results of differential scanning calorimetry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) showed that the active material played a dominant role in the interfacial film formation with the electrolyte. Carbon black played a negligible role in the surface film formation.

        Profiles of Bacillus spp. Isolated from the Rhizosphere of Suaeda glauca and Their Potential to Promote Plant Growth and Suppress Fungal Phytopathogens

        Members of the genus Bacillus are known to play an important role in promoting plant growth and protecting plants against phytopathogenic microorganisms. In this study, 21 isolates of Bacillus spp. were obtained from the root micro-ecosystem of Suaeda glauca. Analysis of the 16S rRNA genes indicated that the isolates belong to the species Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus velezensis, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus aryabhattai and Brevibacterium frigoritolerans. One of the interesting findings of this study is that the four strains B1, B5, B16 and B21 are dominant in rhizosphere soil. Based on gyrA, gyrB, and rpoB gene analyses, B1, B5, and B21 were identified as B. amyloliquefaciens and B16 was identified as B. velezensis. Estimation of antifungal activity showed that the isolate B1 had a significant inhibitory effect on Fusarium verticillioides, B5 and B16 on Colletotrichum capsici (syd.) Butl, and B21 on Rhizoctonia cerealis van der Hoeven. The four strains grew well in medium with 1-10% NaCl, a pH value of 5-8, and promoted the growth of Arabidopsis thaliana. Our results indicate that these strains may be promising agents for the biocontrol and promotion of plant growth and further study of the relevant bacteria will provide a useful reference for the development of microbial resources.
