        An Inductance Voltage Vector Control Strategy and Stability Study Based on Proportional Resonant Regulators under the Stationary αβ Frame for PWM Converters

        The mathematical model of a three phase PWM converter under the stationary αβ reference frame is deduced and constructed based on a Proportional-Resonant (PR) regulator, which can replace trigonometric function calculation, Park transformation, real-time detection of a Phase Locked Loop and feed-forward decoupling with the proposed accurate calculation of the inductance voltage vector. To avoid the parallel resonance of the LCL topology, the active damping method of the proportional capacitor-current feedback is employed. As to current vector error elimination, an optimized PR controller of the inner current loop is proposed with the zero-pole matching (ZPM) and cancellation method to configure the regulator. The impacts on system’s characteristics and stability margin caused by the PR controller and control parameter variations in the inner-current loop are analyzed, and the correlations among active damping feedback coefficient, sampling and transport delay, and system robustness have been established. An equivalent model of the inner current loop is studied via the pole-zero locus along with the pole placement method and frequency response characteristics. Then, the parameter values of the control system are chosen according to their decisive roles and performance indicators. Finally, simulation and experimental results obtained while adopting the proposed method illustrated its feasibility and effectiveness, and the inner current loop achieved zero static error tracking with a good dynamic response and steady-state performance.

      • Significance of HPV Infection and Genic Mutation of APC and K-ras in Patients with Rectal Cancer

        Background: Significance of HPV infection and genic mutation of APC and K-ras in rectal cancer has been investigated but not clarified. The objective of our study was to investigate these parameters in patients with rectal cancer to analyze correlations with biological behaviour, to determine relationships among the three, and also to demonstrate survival prognosis effects. Methods: From December 2007 to September 2008, 75 rectal cancer cases confirmed by histopathology in the Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were enrolled. The control group consisted of normal rectal mucous membrane taken simultaneously, a least 10 cm distant from the carcinoma fringe. HPV DNA, the MCR of APC and exon-1 of K-ras were detected by PCR and PCR-SSCP. All results were analyzed in relation to clinical pathological material, using chi-square and correlation analysis via SPSS.13 and Fisher's Exact Probability via STATA. 9.0. All 75 patients were followed up for survival analysis using Kaplan-Meier and Log-rank tests. Results: 55 out of 75 cases demonstrated gene HPV L1 while it was notdetected in normal rectal mucosa tissue. HPV infection was correlated with age and lymphatic metastasis (P<0.05) but not other characteristics, such as ethnicity, tumor size, histological type, tumor type, Duke's stage and infiltration depth. Some 43 cases exhibited APC genic mutation (57.3%) and 34 K-ras genic mutation (45.3%). APC genic mutation was correlated with gender(P<0.05), but not age, histological type, infiltration depth, lymphatic metastasis and Duke's stage. In 55 cases of rectal cancer with HPV infection, there were 31 cases with genic mutation of APC (56.4%) and 24 with genic mutation of K-ras (43.6%). For the 20 cases of rectal cancer with non-HPV infection, the figures were 12 cases (60%) and 10 (50.0%), respectively, with no significant relation. Survival analysis showed no statistical significance for K-ras genic mutation, APC genic mutation or HPV infection (P>0.05). However, the survival time of the patients with HPV infection was a little shorter than in cases without HPV infection. Conclusions: Our results suggest that HPV infection might be an important factor to bring about malignant phenotype of rectal cancer and influence prognosis. Genic mutation of APC and K-ras might be common early molecular events of rectal cancer, but without prognostic effects on medium-term or early stage patients with rectal cancer.

      • Robust Optimization Model of Reverse Logistics Network with Demand Uncertainty

        A dynamic robust optimization model is established based on the objective of profit maximization to deal with the uncertainty of the problem through formulating a robust linear programming model. An equivalent robust optimization model using duality theory and auxiliary problem principle is obtained which allows the solutions to be derived more efficiently. Following the numerical simulation and sensitivity analysis is presented. The numerical simulation shows that the robust optimization mode can reduce the risk and uncertainty of reverse logistics operation process and the environment of demand uncertainty, which verifies the effectiveness of the approach.

      • Research on Warning Model of Circular Economy

        Circular economy as an advanced development mode for harmonizing the problems among resource, environment and economy, is destined to be the choice for keeping on developing. It is the sustainable development strategy which based on reducing, reusing, recycling principle and the recommendation of circular economy was proposed to build resource-efficient and environmental-friendly society. How to choose the evaluation index system and correctly evaluation the development trance of circular economy is treated as a decision problem. In this paper, a hybrid warning model using matter-element model, combination weight method and place value method for evaluating the development trance of circular economy is proposed. The matter-element model is used to choose the statistical index system of circular economy. The combination weight method is used to calculate the weight of indicators and the place value method is used to contribute the comprehensive evaluation and warning model of circular economy. Finally a case study demonstrates the application of the proposed model.

      • Evaluating Sustainable Urbanization and Coordinated Development---A case study of Liaoning in China

        Although urbanization can promote social and economic development, it can also cause various problems. How to evaluate urbanization performance and development coordination is a key problem for decision makers to find problems caused by urbanization and enhance the efficiency of urbanization performance. This paper introduces a hybrid combined weight method–McKinsey Matrix for evaluating the sustainable of urbanization. The values of development index and coordination index are calculated by combined weight method. The GE matrix can assist in assessing sustainable urbanization performance by locating the urbanization state point. A case study of urbanization in Liaoning in China demonstrates the process of using the evaluation method. The result indicates that the development of urbanization in Liaoning is better. The values of the coordination index between economic, environments, social, public service and livelihood is enhancing conspicuously. The case study reveals that the method is an effective tool in helping policy makers understand the performance and formulate suitable strategies for guiding urbanization towards better sustainability.

        As one of the most important crop, rice is not only a staple food of half world’s population but a wonderful model plant, which has been leading the evolution and functional genomics study. The next-generation sequencing technology are expediting rice genomic study, by providing a simple but powerful way. In this study, we re-sequenced a core collection of 137 rice accessions from all over the world along with 158 Korean breeding varieties. Finally, 6.3G uniquely mapped reads were obtained, and about 10 million SNPs and ~1.2 million InDels were identified with average sequencing depth of 7.5X. These will help us to maximize our germplasm utilization and assists all the deep research in population dynamics and functional studies. Here, we’d like to show the approaches applied to resequencing data mining and on-going activities.

      • The Influence of CO<sub>2</sub> Solubility Trapping on CO<sub>2</sub> Plume Front Propagations in Deep Saline Aquifer

        In CCS program, solubility trapping is an important trapping mechanism. The injected CO<sub>2</sub> and formation fluid (usually brine) can be considered as the solute and the solvent respectively. After injection CO<sub>2</sub> gradually dissolves into the formation fluid at the contact surface. Because the formation fluid with dissolved CO<sub>2</sub> is slightly denser than the surrounding fluid, it tends to sink to the bottom of the formation over time. At the same time, because of the difference in density between fluids, the buoyant force is another key factor that influence the CO<sub>2</sub> plume front. In this study, considering dissolved trapping CO<sub>2</sub> plume front propagations were studied for geological CO<sub>2</sub> storage in a deep saline aquifer at a depth of 1000 m from the ground propagation. We will consider the influence of solubility trapping and buoyant forces for CO<sub>2</sub> plume front propagations. Gas solubility in water can be defined by K-values, which can be obtained from thermodynamic models. The cylindrical grid models with homogeneous permeability distributions were constructed to study CO<sub>2</sub> plume front against elapsed time. In the numerical simulations using CMG STARS, aquifer boundary at 1 km from the injector was set as an open boundary with keeping initial constant pressure. Some sensitivity study on effects of applying gas solubility was investigated. The result shows that solubility trapping is have an important impact on the propagation of CO<sub>2</sub> plume front.

        LMA-SLN beamforming optimization for sum-rate maximization in intelligent reflecting surface assisted NOMA Systems

        Intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) can effectively improve the system performance of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems. In this paper, we propose a Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm-based supervised learning network (LMA-SLN) to maximize the sum-rate of an IRS-assisted NOMA system. By decoupling the sum-rate maximization problem into the active and passive beamforming optimization sub-problems, we design an alternating optimization scheme to optimize the active and passive beamformings. Then, the LMA-SLN is trained with ideal channel state information (CSI) to obtain the optimized network parameters. Finally, the trained LMA-SLN is applied to optimize the active and passive beamformings without requiring CSI. The experimental results show that the proposed LMA-SLN scheme achieves the superior performance on improving the sum-rate.
