Background/Objectives: This study was designed to compare the Varimax analysis of Principal Component Analysis(PCA) with the Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) method using Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE) and oblique rotation(Direct Oblimin) for the multicultural experience of university students. multicultural experience variables of college students were analyzed as two factors through Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE). Methods/Statistical analysis Q1, Q2, Q3 are multicultural direct experiences, and Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7 are multicultural indirect experiences. Findings: As a result of this study, it is suggested to use Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE) and oblique rotation(Direct Oblimin). As a prerequisite for applying the Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE), it is thought that Improvements/Applications it is necessary to increase the accuracy of the response rate by using the face-toface interview method when conducting a survey.

Background: Relaxin is a peptide hormone that potently inhibits collagen expression when collagen is overexpressed. Treatment with relaxin decreases the synthesis and secretion of interstitial collagens in bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis. Previously we showed that adenoviral gene delivery of relaxin showed anti-fibrotic effect in thioacetamide (TAA)-induced liver fibrosis in rats in 2 weeks after injection. The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of the adenoviral delivery of relaxin on the expression of relaxin and LGR known as its receptor in hepatocyte and hepatic stellate cells. Methods: We generated human relaxin gene expressing replication-incompetent adenovirus (Ad-dl-LacZ-RLX-RGD). Liver fibrosis was induced by intraperitoneal TAA injections (300mg/kg twice a week) for 8 weeks in male SD rats. Then relaxin-expressing adenovirus (1x109 PFU/rat) or PBS was injected via tail vein. After 3 days after the injection, rats were sacrified to get liver and isolate hepatocytes or hepatic stellate cells respectively. Collected blood was analyzed by ELISA kit to measure relxin concentration. The expressions of relaxin,

Many putative differentiating agents arrest cell growth prior to progression of the cell through differentiation. Vitamin E-succinate is known to be a potent modulator of haematopoietic differentiation as well as an inhibitor of cell growth in vitro and in vivo. In this study, we examined whether vitamin E-succinate could modulate the monocytic differentiation of U937 human monoblasts. Treatment with vitamin E-succinate for 1-4 days inhibited the proliferation of U937 cells. Vitamin E-succinate also induced monocytic differentiation as indicated by the increase in nitro blue tetrazolium reduction activity, and the expression of monocyte specific cell surface antigen, CD11c, and integrins α5 and β1. The monocytic differentiation of U937 cells was also induced when the cells were cultured in fibronectin-coated wells. Monocytic differentiation was enhanced when the cells were treated with both vitamin E-succinate and fibronectin, suggesting that vitamin E-succinate and fibronectin synergistically act on monocytic differentiation of U937 cells. During monocytic differentiation of U937 cells induced by vitamin E-succinate and/or fibronectin, nitric oxide was detected in supernatants. The production of nitric oxide was not detected when monocytic differentiation of U937 cells was induced by phorbol-12 myristate 13-acetate, a well known inducer of macrophage-like cell differentiation. Vitamin E-succinate and/or fibronectin induced monocytic differentiation was blocked by the treatment of nitric oxide synthase inhibitor, N-G-monomethyl-L-arginine. In contrast, treatment of cells with sodium nitroprusside, a chemical nitric oxide donor, stimulated monocytic differentiation of U937 cells at an early time point. Taken together, these results suggest that nitric oxide is an important intermediator at an early stage of vitamin E-succinate- and/or fibronectin-induced monocytic differentiation of U937 cells.

After 3 days after the injection, rats were sacrified to get liver and isolate hepatocytes or hepatic stellate cells respectively. Collected blood was analyzed by ELISA kit to measure relxin concentration. The expressions of relaxin, LGR7 and LGR8 gene were assessed by RT-PCR in whole liver tissue, isolated hepatocytes and hepatic stellated cells, respectively. Results: The serum level of relaxin was higher in adenoviral relaxin gene delivery group. Expression of relaxin gene was significantly higher both in hepatocyte and in hepatic stellate cells cells in adenoviral relaxin gene delivery group, respectively. LGR7- and LGR8-gene expressions were also significantly activated in hepatocytes and hepatic stellate cells after adenoviral relaxin gene delivery. LGR 7- and LGR8-gene expression tended to be activated in hepatic stellate cells than in hepatocytes. LGR8-gene expression was more highly upregulated than LGR7 especially in hepatic stellate cells. Conclusions: Transient hepatic overexpression of relaxin and its receptor LGR7 and LGR8 was occurred both in hepatocyte and hepatic stellate cells. Induced relaxin, LGR7 and 8 expression may be associated to amelioration of liver fibrosis. Further mechanistic studies are needed to apply in clinical situation.

Ja-Ok Kim,Hack-Sun Kim,Yeo-jin Kim,Seung-Ju Kang,Suhyun Kim ASCONS 2021 IJBSA Vol.3 No.4
Background/Objectives: This study was attempted to organize the long-term care insurance system for the elderly and visiting nursing. Methods/Statistical analysis: This is a review of the long-term care insurance system for the elderly and visiting nursing. Findings: The Ministry of Health and Welfare is in charge of overall policy and system improvement of long-term care insurance for the elderly. In accordance with Article 48 of the Long-Term Care Insurance for the Elderly Act, the insurer, the National Health Insurance Corporation, performs the roles of collection of premiums, accreditation investigations and ratings, payment of benefits for service provision, and institutional evaluation and support for use. Visiting nursing is performed by nurses and nursing assistants who have completed the nursing assistant training course and obtained certificates. Visiting nursing assistant nurse education is provided by the Lifelong Education Center of the university. Looking at the curriculum of the Lifelong Education Center, it is necessary to strengthen the human rights and safety-related aspects of the elderly in an epidemic situation such as COVID-19 to be more realistic. Improvements/Applications: It is intended to be applied as basic data for research on the long-term care insurance system for the elderly and visiting nursing.
