光州直轄市 都市生活環境實態에 관한 考察

The envrionmental problems of urban lif eare rising as the most important things in modern rapid urbanization and the developing type of high industrial society oriented. This study, making Kwangju-city an object, investigated the actual condition of the present urban life environmental factors and provided its reform measures In addition, this study aims to consider the environmental impact assessment system to have a new understanding of urban environment. This study approached centering around four factors of urban life environment, safety, Health, efficiency, and amenity, which are widely used in the objective point of view, and provided their practical measures of environmental impact assessment. It can be said that safety is the first periority because it is a minimum condition by which people desire in urban life. The guide of safety assessment can be devided into the side of facilities, such as a police station, a firehouse, a security light, traffic facilities, and so on, and the side of calamities, such as a traffic accident, crime, fire, and demage caused by storm and flood. In terms of the overall Component ratio of population safety of Kwangju city is relatively good, in the side of facilities, however, it is appeared to be insufficient. Health is a factor required after security of safty in urban life. Here, the actual states of water supply, sewage facilies, a remove of garbage of dung, a pollution, and the health and medical facilities are investigated. As a result, health of Kwangju-city is significantly inferior, especially in the water supply, sewage facilies, a pollution, and the health and welfare facilities. It can be said that efficiency is the biggest characteristic as the most powerful factor making population flow into urban. Here, the guides for facilities relation to road, the public facilities, a distribution system, a communication system, a public traffic means, and the degree of finanical independence are searched. It is appeared that Kwangju-city is insufficient in the whole sides of efficiency. Amenity as one leading more cultural and comfortable life the after the aforementioned factors are ready is one of urban characteristics with efficiency. Here, the guides lastly required are housing equipments, educational systems, park facilities, cultural and sport facilities, organic facilities, and service facilities. Kwangju-city is significanly good in cultural, sport, and organic facilities, but is behind in housing facilities, comparing with the national level and is insufficient in park facilities. Also, the practical measures of environmental impact assessment are considered, as dividing to the assessment object program and its types, the assessment process and its preparation, and the method of assessment respectly.

광주광역시 도시기능의 공간분포패턴에 관한 연구

This study has been carried out in order to offer basic data necessary to effective planning in space structure of city by examining the concentration degree of city functions in administrative parts through analyzing space distribution of Kwangju City. This study has been resulted in ; First, service works are mostly distributed in down areas(43.2%), and particularly high in Dong-Ku which has least space for administrative part and Seo-Ku, Puk-Ku and Kwangsan-Ku was in order. It showed that the functions of the city is preponderated. Second, the area with high rate of population allotment is relatively far from downtown areas and one with high rate of indusrtrial allotment is relatively near from downtown areas. It showed us the internal space structure in Kwangju shaping a concentric circle. Third, the following areas show specialization in particular works ; ⓐ Ariculture; Tae-Ye, Ssang-Chon2, Nong-Seong, ⓑ Mining Industry; Tae-Kum, ⓒ Manufacturing Industry; Ha-Nam, You-Deuk, Bon-Chon, ⓓ Elecrical Industry; Yong-Bong, Seo-San, So-Chon, ⓔ Construction; Tae-Kum, ⓕ Wholesacle and detail; Chung-Kum, Tae-Kum, ⓖ Transportation business; Shin-An, Tae-Kum, ⓗ Financial business; Chung-Kum, Tae-Kum, ⓘ Social works; Seo-Seuk, Fourth, manufacturing industry was concentrated in industrial complex area and transportation industry in the area of gateway to Kwangju and social works in the area of educational facilities respectively.

韓國 都市水資源의 開發에 對한 考察

The demand, absolute amount and supply for city water is in emergent circumstances throughout most of the large city including Seoul city. A great deal of investment is necessary to change a chronic shortage of water supply and a limited water-supply for the better condition. It is evident that the industrial development and the improvement for better human welfare, Particulary for the betterment of urban environment, cause a urgently increased demand for city water. Therefore, the problems of urban water-resources consist in the improvement of shortage of living water. Those are also related with economical water supply of requirel amount in both quality and quatity. The measures to solve the water resources in urban environment are as follows. 1. An efficient measures of land development, such as river dam and the construction of river mouth including multi-purpose dam are required. 2. In addition to water control including the maintenance of water quality water-resources should be protected from the pollution of sewage. Of all measures, the reclaim of the polluted water through the purification is the best way. 3. The cost of water-resources must be lowered through lessening water leakage by the refinement of water supply facility.

全南地域 市間의 都市生活環境 測定에 관한 硏究

The purpose of dissertation lis as follows; First, dimensions of urban environments are classified into several categories, secondly, indicators are selected for each category, thirdly, measurements are carried for each indicator, fourthly, indicators are summarized according to the classification done before. In conclusion, the level on disparity of urban living environment among city in cheon-nam region is very large. Cheon-nam region should have the effective housing system and administrative system so as to maintain the high level of urban life and increase the quality of life.

지방도시개발 과정에서 공공주체의 역할에 관한 연구

Since the globalization has been emphasized as one of the major policy goals of the government from 1980s, the political change of the end of cold war age has required a new international order. We have experienced the rapid economic growth and urbanization for the fast 30 years, but in the reality that the people's awareness of crisis for the changes of the recent international political and economic order and the age of localization comes in domestic condition, we have not enough time to equip with self-supporting power and the mature consciousness. Moreover, the flexible attitude that can define two urgent tasks by two wheels connected to an axis rather than consider them as the separate problems is required. Therefore, this study is to suggest what strategies the local cities under the condition that opportunity and crisis, and advantage and disadvantage coexist should develop for the globalization and how the roles of public sectors which have performed many roles as the subject of the development should be progressed in the developmental process of local cities, and then it is to help develop the globalization related projects of local cities effectively.

全南地域의 人口指標設定 改善方案에 관한 硏究

The aim of this study is to find out appropriate solutions to various problems created by wrong applied assumption of population. And these solutions are to be applied to establishment of urban planning. Besides assuming the population of urban planning is the most important yardstick of deciding the size of future urban and physical environment. Therefore to develop the plan more efficiently, I suggest these as followings. First of all, the mathematical methods which is proper to the characteristics of urban must be applied and produced through the outlook based on analysis of natural population, such as birth, death, transference in the past. Secondly, the moving in population of society must be limited on the target year. Thirdly, the population division plan by regional groups must be proceeded. The last but not least, the examination and evaluation on population plan must be performed.

노인주거 복지시설의 개발방안에 관한 연구

This study has tried to find out how to effectively develop silver towns. The following is the results ; First, it is strongly needed that the government should try to make real of policies on the welfare of the aged against the aging society. Second, and the silver works will be a prospecting one in the 21st century with potential according to the increasing number of the rich aged, and in regard to developing silver towns, various systems and laws and difficult procedures related to it have been confornted problems. Third, it is assumed that the aged prefer suburban residential area, which allow them to easily access to medical services, cultural facilities as well as residential district. In our country, the aged are in the increasing tendency to live independently with retirement pay, pension, insurance. So, it is desirable to encourage private organizations to investigate in silver works by loosing the conditions regarding silver works with revision of related laws, simplifying the developing procedures and tax privilege. It is required that creating social mood in which encourage public corporations with public interest and public trust and private profit-making groups to actively take part in silver works. Publication activities for improving and promoting public awareness and interest on the silver town should be also continued.

都市 內在的 特性에 따른 都市計劃施設의 立地性向에 관한 硏究 : 主要 廣域施設을 中心으로 Focused on the major city-wide facilities

The purpose of this study is to investigates the location tendency of the urban facilities based on the positive approach method. The role of urban facility is not only the foundation of urban life, but also plays principal elements in the urban planning field by middle and long term period. But the cities in Korea have the tasks for the recent localization and the uinty of cities and counties, and have a lot of difficulties to satisfy the residents' desires in parts of an effective facility supply and to search for a suitable location place for each facility. Especially, searching for the location place of urban facilities should be classified differently according to the urban inner characteristic such as urban population, scale of area in urban planning and urban history as dates of set up city. Therefore, this study selects major city-wide facilities that the facility location has a great influence on the land use and urban growth axis, and it selects 29 small and medium sized cities in Korea as the case regions, and finds out location mechanism in the major city-wide facilities.

宅地開發事業에 있어서 計劃的 都市構成 要素와 事業施行後 나타나는 構成과의 差異點에 關한 硏究

The writer has studied the differences between the original plan and real problems occurred in the working process of developing housing lots around Bijun District and Jungui District carried by KLDC according to the housing site development special law. And I has analyzed the reasons, and suggest methods for improvement; First, in the point of creating cities : In calculating planned population, various conditions of the city should be totally reviewed; population utilizing the facilities should be considered in the light of prospect of future development; in location planning of facilities, bus service route, present state of utilizing the neighbored lands and planning should be considered. Second, in the point of utilizing land : To make up the esale right for the buildings which are against land categories; to make different division of lots according to the width of neighbored loads and its distance from central facilities, and it will lead to the change of using land. Third in the point of traffic : To reflect bus service route in establishing street plann and land use plan : to make sure of street network and to control direct connection between main route and readjusted route.
