스트레칭이 의료기관 사무직 종사자의 근 경직도에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 의료기관 사무직 종사자들의 근 경직도에 대한 스트레칭의 효과를 알아보려고 한다. 총 40명의 젊은 여성 대상자들이 자발적으로 이 연구에 참여했다. 대상자들은 스트레칭 군과 대조군에 무작위로 분류하였다. 스트레칭 중재 전, 대상자의 흉쇄유돌근, 상부승모근, 후두하근, 소흉근의 근 경직도를 측정하였다. 그리고 스트레칭을 스트레칭 군에 적용하였다.중재 후 5분이 지나서 각 근육의 근경직도를 재측정하였다. 스트레칭 군에서 흉쇄유돌근, 상부승모근, 후두하근, 소흉근의 근 경직도는 유의하게 감소하였으며(p<.05), 대조군에서는 중재 전과 후에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 적절한 스트레칭은 의료기관 사무직 종사자의 근 경직도의 증가로 인해 야기될 수 있는 근골격계 질환을 예방하고 감소시킬 것으로 사료된다. This study is to investigate the effects of stretching of hospital office employees on muscle stiffness. A total of 40 healthy young women voluntarily participated in the study. The participants were randomized to the stretching groups and control groups. Before stretching, the participants measured muscle stiffness of sternocleidomastoid muscle, upper trapezius muscle suboccipital muscles and pectoralis minor. And then applied stretching to stretching group. Muscle stiffness remeasured five minutes later in each group. In all muscles, muscle stiffness of stretching group were significant decreased(p<.05), but control group were no significant difference between pre and post. therefore appropriate stretching is expected to prevent and reduce musculoskeletal diseases caused by increased muscle stiffness in hospital office employees.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of prefabricated orthoses which were a combination of a toespacer and a transverse arch orthosis of young adults with hallux valgus on the hallux valgus angle and pain. Design: A randomized controlled trial. Methods: A total of twenty-two young adults with hallux valgus have voluntarily participated in the study. The participants were randomized to the Do-it-yourselftransversearch orthosis (DTO) group (n1=12), and the control group(n2=11) that used a toespacer orthosis. The intervention was applied to each group wearing orthoses 5 times a week for more than 7 hours during the4-week period. All subjects were measured for hallux valgus angle and pain at before-after intervention. Results: In the comparison of the effects within the groups, the effect of the intervention on the HV angle was significantlydecreased in each group (p<0.05). The DTO group significantly decreased the pain in the lumbar, knee, and foot(p<0.05). Thecontrol group significantly decreased the pain in only the foot(p<0.05). In the comparison of the effects between the groups, theDTO group was found to significantly decrease the pain in the lumbar and knee than the control group (p<0.05). Conclusions: The results of this study confirmed that DTO is an effective method for hallux valgus. It is thought that can be used as basic data and to develop programs for effective non-surgical intervention in patients with mild HV.

The objective of this study was to determine the mitotic intervals (τ0) of two consecutive cell divisions and synchronous embryonic cleavage in grass puffer, Takifugu niphobles at different water temperatures (18, 20, 22, and 24℃). The color of the fertilized egg was light yellowish. The egg type was demersal and unadhesive. Egg weight was 0.09±0.002 mg. The sizes of unfertilized eggs were smaller than fertilized eggs in major axis and minor axis at 20℃ (p<0.05). The size of the fertilized egg of 18℃ water temperature group at the blastodisc stage was the smallest (p<0.05), but no significant differ-ences were observed in the other water temperatures group except 18℃ water temperature group (p>0.05). The first cleavage stages at 18, 20, 22, and 24℃ were at 75, 90, 105, and 120 mins, respectively. As water temperature was increased, embryonic development and formation time of the first cleavage furrow were accelerated. There were negative correlation between τ0 and water temperature for grass puffer (Y=–1.225X+70.05, R2=0.988, n=10, where Y was τ0 and X was temperature). This study confirmed that successful hatching of grass puffer was related to water temperature. Chromosome manipulation will be help-ful for this species using cleavage frequency and τ0.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of squat exercises using elastic bands of ballet dancers on muscle activity, arabesque angle, and static balance of ballet dancers during arabesque posture. Design: A randomized controlled trialMethods: A total of 25young female ballet dancersvoluntarily participated in the study. The participants were randomized to the elastic resistance squat group(n1=13) and body squat group(n2=12). The squats exercise was applied to a total of 12 exercises per four weeks and consisted of 15 times per one set in one to two weeks, 4 sets in three to four weeks. All subjects were evaluated muscle activity, arabesque angle, and static balance during arabesque posture at before-after intervention. All participants were measured muscle activity, arabesque angle, and static balance during arabesque posture at before-after intervention. Results: Elastic resistance squat group and body groups showed a significant increase in the muscle activity, angle, and static balance ability during arabesque posture(p<0.05). In the comparison between the groups, the elastic resistance squat group showed a significant increase in muscle strength, angle, and static balance during arabesque posture (p<0.05). The results showed that the elastic resistance squat exercise was more increased than the body squat exercise in all variables (p<0.06). Conclusions: Therefore, when planning a training program for a ballet dancer, the elastic resistance squat movement can be applied as an exercise method to improve the muscular performance and balance ability of the ballet dancer.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effects of short foot exercise (SFE) on muscle activity of the abductor hallucismuscle and static balance of young adults with mild chronic ankle instability (CAI) and to provide basic data on CAI treatment andintervention. Design: A randomized controlled trial. Methods: A total of 30 young adults with mild chronic ankle instability participated in the study. The participants were randomized to the SFE group (n=15), and the control group(n=15).The method of short foot exercise draws the head ofmetatarsal putted to the floor, and toward the heel. and then, by contracting and maintaining the intrinsic muscles of the foot for 5,10, and 15 seconds. The intervention was applied to the SFE group 5 times a week during the 2 weeks and conducted for 25 minutes a day.In one session, 4 sets were executed according to 3 types of muscle contraction maintenance time.All subjects were measured for muscleactivity and static balance at before-after the intervention. Results: In the comparison within the groups, the SFE group was significantly difference in muscle activity of the abductorhallucis muscle and static balance (p<0.05). In the comparison between the groups, the SFE group was significantly differencefrom the control group in muscle activity and static balance(p <0.05). Conclusions: SFE was an effective method for mild CAI on muscle activity and static balance. It can be used for non-surgicalintervention in mild CAI as basic data and intervention programs.
