Thermal Analysis of Teg’s in Electrical Vehicle for Seebeck Effect Using Ansys CFD

        Jaswanth Nukala,Dheep G. Raam 대한전기학회 2024 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.19 No.1

Energy is developing from renewable sources nowadays, becoming essential research criteria. As a result of pollution and climate change, energy prices are rising, and we must also deal with rising electricity prices. To minimize these problems, researchers are currently working on optimizing energy producers that use energy harvesting. Using the Seebeck efect, thermoelectric generators (TEGs) have proven capable of generating electricity from heat directly. They do not require toxic substances, mechanical structures, or rotating parts since they are manufactured on silicon, polymers, and ceramic substrates. Present research work focused on generating power from waste heat emitted from automobiles. Copper nickel-based TEG was adopted for the present simulation work. Using Ansys 2020R1, a numerical model incorporating Thomson, Seebeck, and Joule's heat was created to check the Voltage, current, and power at diferent temperatures. Hot gas emissions at diferent temperatures from 250 to 400 °C at a step of 50 °C raising with diferent Reynolds numbers were investigated. A study of the overall efciency of the electrical system was also conducted. The passive heat sink's heat transfer surface and forced air circulation signifcantly impacted total heat fow, preserving the system's high electrical efciency. Using a TEG system to simulate a single-phase inverter provides real-time information about the system's power characteristics. These observations may serve as a starting point for improving the efciency of an actual TEG-inverter hybrid system's co-design.

      • Big Data Service Design :Collection to Analysis in the Cloud Computing Ecosystem

        D. Jaswanth,B. Dinesh Reddy 차세대컨버전스정보서비스학회 2021 Journal of Digital Media & Culture Technology Vol.1 No.1

As one of the leading evolutionary trajectories in the information domain, big data innovation has profound applicability for information mining, data analysis, and data sharing within voluminous datasets. It leverages the latent value of data to generate substantial economic benefits while informing decision-making strategies for socio-economic development. Big data solution design, a novel service model that views data as a resource, orchestrates the collection and processing of datadiverse sources. This paper aims to provide a concise overview of the essential elements of big data solution design and its technical processing framework with a focus on data collection and storage. For this, this paper embarks on a comprehensive review of big data processing and analysis strategies, cognizant of the distinct service requirements that aim to provide invaluable information to solution consumers. It then presents an all-inclusive cloud computing solution system predicated on big data with a summary of a variety of big data application scenarios across disparate fields.

      • Anti-tumor effect of Euphorbia hirta on Ehrlich's ascites carcinoma in mice

        Kumarappan, CT,Sunderi, S Karpagam Kumara,Jaswanth, A,Lakshmi, S Mohana,Mandal, Subhash C Kyung Hee Oriental Medicine Research Center 2007 Oriental pharmacy and experimental medicine Vol.7 No.2

Anti-tumor activity of Euphorbia hirta (50 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg) has been evaluated against Ehrlich's ascites carcinoma (EAC) in Swiss albino mice. Intraperitoneal (i.p) administration of Euphorbia hirta was effective in reducing solid tumor mass development induced by EAC cells. It exhibited significant anti-tumor activity in mice, when used at the dose of 100 mg/kg/day i.p., for 14days. The administration of Euphorbia hirta (100 mg/kg/day i.p.) resulted in an increase (P<0.001) of the life span (59.9%) of ascites tumor bearing mice as compared to the control group. After 14 days, on developed tumor masses, Euphorbia hirta administration brought about significant reduction in tumor volume and it reverse the changes in the hematological parameters, responding to tumor inoculation. The results are indicative of the anti-tumor activity of Euphorbia hirta against EAC induced tumor in a dose dependent manner.
