<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P><B>Purpose:</B></P><P>To investigate whether a correlation exists between perfusion parameters obtained from dynamic contrast‐enhanced (DCE) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and prognostic factors or immunohistochemical subtypes of breast cancers.</P><P><B>Materials and Methods:</B></P><P>Quantitative parameters (Ktrans, kep, and ve) of 70 invasive ductal carcinomas were obtained using DCE‐MRI as a postprocessing procedure. Correlations between parameters and prognostic factors, including tumor size, axillary nodal status, histologic grade, nuclear grade, expression of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), Ki‐67, p53, bcl‐2, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) and subtypes categorized as luminal (ER or PR‐positive), triple negative (ER or PR‐negative, HER2‐negative), and HER2 (ER and PR‐negative, HER2 overexpression) were analyzed.</P><P><B>Results:</B></P><P>Mean Ktrans was higher in tumors with a high histologic grade than with a low histologic grade (<I>P</I> = 0.007), with a high nuclear grade than with a low nuclear grade (<I>P</I> = 0.002), and with ER negativity than ER positivity (<I>P</I> = 0.056). Mean kep was higher in tumors with a high histologic grade than with a low histologic grade (<I>P</I> = 0.005), with a high nuclear grade than with a low nuclear grade (<I>P</I> = 0.001), and with ER negativity than with ER positivity (<I>P</I> = 0.043). Mean ve was lower in tumors with a high histologic grade than with a low histologic grade (<I>P</I> = 0.038) and with ER negativity than with ER positivity (<I>P</I> = 0.015). Triple‐negative cancers showed a higher mean kep than the luminal type (<I>P</I> = 0.015).</P><P><B>Conclusion:</B></P><P>Breast cancers with higher Ktrans and kep, or lower ve, had poor prognostic factors and were often of the triple‐negative subtype. Intrauterine Device Found in an Ovarian Carcinoma
Koo, Hye Ryoung,Oh, Young Taik,Kim, Young Tae,Kim, Sang Wun,Kang, Jung-Ho,Kim, Ki Whang Lippincott Williams Wilkins, Inc. 2008 Journal of computer assisted tomography Vol.32 No.1
Displacement of an intrauterine device (IUD) through the perforation site is a rare but one of the major complications. Theoretically, an extrauterine IUD can be located anywhere in the abdominopelvic cavity. It may be asymptomatic or may cause serious complications, including infection, fistula, organ perforation, or bowel obstruction. However, there is no report of IUD located within an ovarian carcinoma to our knowledge, and our report is the first case of an IUD found in the center of an ovarian cancer.

This qualitative case study focuses on five small and medium-sized enterprises which have put family-friendly management into successful practice. Through in-depth unstructured interviews with five human resources managers and ten employees, we describe each firm's approach to work-life balance including working hour reductions, breaks, work flexibility, and parental leave to build an overall picture. We also discuss the four key factors of the CEO's role; democratic communication between all staff, the usefulness of family-friendly certification as a starting point; and governmental support for promoting work-life balance at small and medium-sized enterprises. Finally, we suggest three political implications of governmental support, namely CEO education, changing the criteria of family-friendly certification to redefine working hours and work flexibility, and incentives specifically for small to medium-sized enterprises.
