        Snorer의 앙와위와 직립위에서의 상기도 크기

        Snorer와 정상인의 상기도 부위 연조직의 차이를 비교하며, 자세의 변화에 따른 snorer와 정상인의 상기도 부위 연조직 크기의 변화를 알아보고자 여성에서 snorer 25명과 정상군 20명을 대상으로 직립위와 앙와위에서 측모 두부 방사선 계측 사진을 촬영한 후 연구개, 혀 및 상기도에 관한 거리와 면적을 계측하고 통계학적으로 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 직립위와 앙와위에서 snorer군은 정상군에 비해 혀의 길이가 길고 높이가 높았으며 기도가 좁고 길며 설골은 하방에 위치하였고 넓은 연구개와 좁은 hypopharynx를 가졌다. 앙와위에서 snorer군은 이와 더불어 정상군보다 더 넓은 혀와 더 좁은 oropharynx를 가졌다. 2. 직립위에서 앙와위로 자세의 변화에 따라 정상군과 snorer군 모두에서 기도의 길이가 감소하였고 설골이 더 상방위치 되었다. snorer군에서는 이와 더불어 혀의 길이와 높이, 기도의 두께와 oropharynx 면적은 감소하였으며 혀와 연구개 면적은 증가하였다. The purpose of this study was to compare and evaluate the upper airway structure between the snorers and asymptomatic control subjects depending on the positional change. Lateral cephalograms in the upright and supine position were taken in 25 female snorers and 20 female asymptomatic control subjects. The length and the area of the soft palate, tongue and airway were measured and evaluated statistically. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The sonorers showed longer and higher tongue, narrower and longer airway, inferiorly positioned hyoid bone, longer and broader soft palate and narrower hypopharynx than the control subjects both in the upright and supine position. In addition, the snorers showed broader tongue area and narrower oropharynx area than the control subjects in supine position. 2. Depending on the positional change from upright to supine position, the controls and the snorers showed decreased airway length and superior positioned the hyoid bone. In addition, the snorers showed decreased tongue length and height, airway length and thickness and oropharynx area, but increased tongue area and soft palate area.

      • 다발형 광섬유 센서 및 Tapered 섬광체 방사선 센서에 관한 연구

        Several types of gamma-ray sensors were constructed by packing different numbers of fibers into aluminum tubes, and tested to detect the ^(137)Cs gamma ray. It has been found from this investigation that tapered fibers can be more efficient to collect the lights produced inside the sensor and transfer them into the transmitting fiber. In order to predict the functioning of the tapered fiber, tapered plastic scintillators, composed of polystyrene with minute amount of dPOPOP and PPO or dPBD, were fabricated and tested for the detection of gamma rays from 1.0 1.5 3.0 5.0 μCi ^(137)Cs sources, and the pulse hight spectrum and the relationship between the radioactivity and the total counts are analyzed. It has been found from this study that the tapered scintillating optical fiber, if manufactured, can be practically applied to the development of gamma-ray sensors which can be deployed in μCi-level radiation fields.

      • 무지개 松魚의 遺傳 育種學的 硏究 : Ⅳ.血淸成分 水準의 年中 變化 Ⅳ.Annual Changes of Serum Components Levels

        본 연구는 무지개 松魚 암컷 3년생 120마리에 대하여 1989년 3월부터 1990년 2월까지 계절 및 人工産卵前後에 따른 血淸成分 含量 水準을 측정하였고, 각 血淸 成分間의 상관관계를 조사하였다. 장차 무지개 松魚의 繁殖效率 增進에 필요한 遺傳育種學的 基礎 資料를 얻기 위하여 실시되었다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 血淸中 albumin, calcium, glucose, total protein, alkalin phosphatase, SGOT 및 phosphorus의 함량은 産卵期中에 높은 수준이었으나, cholesterol, creatinine 및 triglycerides의 含量은 卵黃形成期中에 비교적 높은 수준을 유지 하였다. 2) 人工産卵展, 産卵後 및 過熟時期에 따른 血淸中 albumin, calcium, cholesterol, creatinine, total protein, triglycerides, alkaline phosphatase 및 phosphorus의 含量은 人工産卵前에 비교적 높은 수준을 유지한 반면에, BUN, glucose, SGOT 및 SGPT의 含量은 過熟時期에 높은 수준이었다. 그리고 A/G 比率은 非産卵期인 6월, 7월 및 8월에 最高水準을 유지하다가 産卵時期直前부터 감소하여 산란시기 동안에 낮은 수준으로 계속 유지되었다. 3) 産卵期中 albumin수준과 calcium(r=-0.793)간에는 부(-)의 상관이었으나, 그 밖의 다른 성분간에는 有意性이 인정되는 정(+)의 상관이 존재하였다. BUN 含量水準과 alkaline phosphatase(r=0.790), SGOT(r=0.881) 및 SGPT(r=0.902)와는 正(+)의 高度相關이 존재하였다. Glucose수준과 모든 다른 성분간에는 負(-)의 相關關係였으마, cholesterol수준과 그 밖의 다른 성분간에는 正(+)의 相關이 존재하였다. Glucose수준과 total protein(r=0.856), triglycerides(r=0.973), alkaline phosphatase(r=0.738), SGOT(r=0.711) 및 SGPT(r=0.738), 및 SGPT(r=0.657)間에는 正(+)의 高度相關을 보였으며, creatinine 수준과 total protein(r=0.672)에도 正(+)의 상관관계가 존재하였다. Total protein과 triglycerides(r=0.911)와는 正(+)의 高度相關이었으며, alkaline phosphatase 水準과 SGOT(r=0.936) 및 SGPT(r=0.926)間은 正(+)의 高度相關關係가 있다. 또한 SGOT와 SGPT(r=0.995)와는 매우 높은 정(+)의 상관관계가 존재하였다. 4) 産卵期中 호르몬과 血淸成分間의 상관관계에 있어서 血淸中 LH 濃度와 BUN(r=0.747)과는 유의한 負(-)의 相關이었으나, creatinine(r=0.887) 및 total protein(r=0.688)과는 正(+)의 高度相關이 존재하였다. FSH濃度와 creatinine(r=0.831) 및 total protein(r=0.709)간에는 正(+)의 상관관계가 있었다. Estradion-17β와 creatinine(r=0.899), total protein(r=0.899), total protein(r=0.859) 및 trigpycerides(r=0.673)간에 비교적 높은 正(+)의 상관이었으나, progesterone 濃度과 BUN(r=-0.606)간에는 負(-)의 상관관계가 존재하였다. This study was carried out to investigate serum components levels(12 components) obtained from 120 of 3-year-old female rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss). All data were collected and analysed monthly from March in 1989 to February in 1990. Serum protein components were assayed by blood analyzer. The results obtained in this study were as follows; 1. The contents of serum albumin ,calcium, glucose, total protein, alkalkine phosphatase, SGOT, and phosphorus increased during spawning period, but those of serum cholesterol, creatinine, and triglycerides maintained relatively high levels during vitellogenetic period. 2. The contents of serum albumin, calcium, cholesterol, creatinine, total protein, triglycerides, alkaline phosphatase and phosphorus prior to handstripping were relatively high, while those of serum BUN, glucose, SGOT and SGPT were high in over-ripe stage. 3. The correlation between serum albumin and calcium during correlations of albumin and other contents were significantly positive. Those of serum BUN with alkaline phosphatase(r=0.790), SGOT(r=0.881) and SGPT(r=0.902) were highly positive. The content of calcium was highly correlated with various serum contents, and that of cholesterol was a signigicantly correlated with other serum contents. The correlations of serum glucose with total protein(r=0.856), triglycerides(r=0.973), alkaline phosphatase(r=0.738), SGOT(r=0.711) and SGPT(r=0.657) were significantly high. The correlation coefficients between creatinine and total protein, between total protein and triglycerides, and between SGOT and SGPT were significantly high. In addition, those of serum alkaline phosphatase with SGOT and SGPT were also significantly high. 4. The correlation of serum LH with BUN during spawning period was highly negative(r=-0.793), while the correlations of LH with creatinie and total protein were high(r=0.887 and 0.688, respectively). Similarly, the relationships of serum FSH with creatinine(r=0.831) and total protein(r=0.709) were significantly highly positive. The concentration of estradiol-17βwas highly correlated with creatinie, total protein, and triglycerides. But the relation of serum progesterone with BUM was significantly negative(r=-0.606).

      • 상주해수욕장 돌제 부근의 정선변화 해석

        Groin was constructed at SANJU beach to prevent erosion of beach profile and to nourishment by passing littoral drift. As a result, in case of the left side of groin, beach profile deposition is well effectively till now, but in case of the right side of groin, severe erosion of beach profile is proceeding now. In this study, author analyzed shore-line deformation with surveying and numerical method by Pelnard-Considere one-line model. The results of analysis for the shore-line deformation in vicinity of groin are as follows: 1. Longshore current flowed from left to right direction at right side of groin and strong rip current generated between groin and jetties. 2. Construction of groin did not regard littoral drift mechanism in vicinity of fore beach sea region, as a result severe erosion generated at right side of groin.

        Groin was constructed at HAKDONG gravel beach to embark ship. The littoral drift on a beach particularly manifests itself when blocked construction of seawalls, jetties, breakwaters and groins, etc.. For this reason, the understanding and evaluation of littoral drift have been important especially to the coastal engineers but HAKDONG gravel beach was disregarded to environment problems. As a result, right side of groin, severe erosion of beach profile is proceeding now. In this study, based on the field measurements, involved the one-line theory model which was selected for the prediction of shoreline change to prepare coastal protection methods of HAKDONG gravel beach.

      • 韓國産 미꾸리에 關한 育種·繁殖學的 硏究 : Ⅴ. Ultrastructures Changes of Pituitary Gland and Testes in Male Loach Ⅴ. 미꾸리 수컷의 腦下垂體와 精巢의 微細構造

        본 연구는 1992년 3월부터 5월까지 자연채광 상태의 건국대학교 양어실습장에서 사육중인 한국산 미꾸리 수컷(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus)의 뇌하수체와 정소의 조직형태학적 변화를 이해하기 위해서 실시되었다. 미성숙 시기인 3월의 뇌하수체와 정소의 미세구조와 5월경의 성숙단계인 각 조직간의 발달상황을 비교 분석하기 위해서 광학 및 투과형 전자현미경을 이용하였다. 뇌하수체의 성선자극 호르몬이 분비되는 부위(GTH)의 발달은 정소의 주기적인 발달단계와 대체로 일치한다. 성성숙 지수(GSI)는 4월부터 5월에 이르는 시기에 증가하다가 정자세포와 정자의 수가 증가되는 5월에 가장 높게 나타났다. 하나의 小葉 속에 발달단계가 다른 nest가 들어있더라도 같은 정자형성 단계에 속한다. 미성숙 단계에서는 이형염색질이 분산되어 있다가 성숙 단계에서는 핵이 진하고 균질한 상태로서 존재한다. 핵막은 분화초기에 나타난다. 제1차 정모세포에는 15개 이상의 작은 미토콘드리아가 두부의 세포질 주변에 있다가 발달함에 따라 2개의 커다란 미토콘드리아로 변화되면서 한쪽으로 튀어나온 부위 주변에 위치하게 된다. 정자 중편부의 주위에는 미토콘드리아초와 외측 섬유소로 둘러싸여져 있다. This study was undertaken to understand the histomorphological changes of pituitary gland and testis of Korea loach(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) under natural circumstances from March to May 1992. Sexual maturation was studied on 50 males Korean loach(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus). The results obtained in this study were as follows: The ultrastructures of the gonadotrophs largely parallel the cyclical changes in the testes. Gonadosomatic indices(GSI) increased from April to May, and showed the peak in May, coinciding with the increase of spermatids and spermatozoa in male. Each nest of cells belongs to one spermatogenetic stage, although nests at different stages can be found within the one lobule. At first heterochromatin is dispersed and then is condensed. In mature gamete, the nucleus is dense and homogeneous. The nuclear membrane appeared at the beginning of differentiation. In the primary spermatocytes, the small mitochondria are abundant over the outer cytoplasm. In the latter, the two large mitochondria are located over the cytoplasm. During cell differentiation, the cytoplasm decrease and the nucleus increases. Sperm mitochondria are assembled into an organized sheath surrounding the outer dense fibres and axoneme of the flagellar midpiece.

        Phoswich Detector for Simultaneous Measuring Alpha/beta Particles

        배관 내부의 방사성 오염도를 측정하기 위한 ZnS(Ag)/플라스틱섬광체 조합의 알파/베타선 동시측정용 phoswich 검출기를 개발하였다. 알파/베타선 동시측정용 phoswich 검출기의 오염위치에 따른 검출 성능을 PSD (Pulse shape discrimination) 방법을 이용하여 평가하였다. 또한, 검출기를 방사성 오염물질로부터 보호하기 위한 오염방지용 필름에 대한 방사선 감쇄 정도를 실험적으로 평가하였다. PSD 방법으로 알파/베타선 분리 정도를 측정한 결과 충분히 알파와 베타선이 분리되었으며 오염방지용 필름의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. The new type phoswich detector consisting of the ZnS(Ag) and plastic scintillator for alpha/beta-ray simultaneous counting was developed for monitoring radiological contamination inside pipes. The detection performance was estimated using the PSD (pulse shape discrimination) method as a function of distance between the scintillator and radioactive source. The attenuation of particles traveling through a thin film for preventing the detector from being contaminated was experimentally estimated. It is concluded from our investigation that the phoswich detector developed can provide a sufficient alpha/beta-ray discrimination. The application of a thin film for preventing the detector from being contaminated was proven to be feasible.

        Reel-to-reel deposition of YBCO films by spray pyrolysis using nitrate precursors

        <P>YBCO films were deposited on a moving substrate by a spray pyrolysis method using nitrate aqueous solution as a precursor. Deposition was done on LaAlO<SUB>3</SUB>(100) single crystal substrate by spraying the precursor mist generated by a concentric nozzle. The cation ratio of the precursor solution was Y:Ba:Cu = 1:2.65:4.5. The distance between the nozzle and the substrate was 15?cm. The substrate was transported with a speed ranging from 0.23 to 0.5?cm?min<SUP>−1</SUP>. Films were deposited at a pressure of 10 and 20?Torr and the substrate temperature varied from 740 to 790 ?C. The oxygen partial pressure was controlled between 1 and 5?Torr. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and x-ray diffraction (XRD) observations revealed that the films are smooth and highly textured with (00<I>l</I>) planes parallel to the substrate. The highest <I>J</I><SUB>c</SUB> was 1.04?MA?cm<SUP>−2</SUP> at 77?K and self-field for film with a thickness of 0.5??m. </P>
