A New Class of Hermite-Konhauser Polynomials together with Differential Equations
Bin-Saad, Maged Gumaan Department of Mathematics 2010 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.50 No.2
It is shown that an appropriate combination of methods, relevant to operational calculus and to special functions, can be a very useful tool to establish and treat a new class of Hermite and Konhauser polynomials. We explore the formal properties of the operational identities to derive a number of properties of the new class of Hermite and Konhauser polynomials and discuss the links with various known polynomials.

Bin-Saad, Maged G.,Pathan, M.A. The Honam Mathematical Society 2019 호남수학학술지 Vol.41 No.1
In this work, it is shown that the combination of operational techniques and the use of the principle of quasi-monomiality can be a very useful tool for a more general insight into the theory of matrix polynomials and for their extension. We explore the formal properties of the operational rules to derive a number of properties of certain class of matrix polynomials and discuss the operational links with various known matrix polynomials.
US-China Strategic Competition: Implications for International Order
Saad Bin Zaffar Sraw,Mir Sher Baz Khetran 아시아사회과학학회 2021 Jornal of Asia Social Science Vol.4 No.2
The paper attempts to identify the key areas where a strategic competition is being played out between US and China and its possible implications for overall regional and global order. It includes a broad based probe into the nuances of ramifications that this fundamental competition, which some chose to name as conflict, shall entail. Not only will it have political consequences, but will help change the overall strategic complexion and economic superstructure of the world besides altering the rules based international order beyond recognition. It is one of the most important and significant geo-strategic, geo-political and geo-economic moment of the century and we all stand at the cusp of a massive change for which we are neither ready nor prepared. The objective of the study is to investigate nature of the competition, changes it has brought to the threat spectrum, articulation of possible responses by states involved in it and ways in which it will transform the world that we see today.

Wireless Sensor Networks have extensively been utilized for ambient data collection from simple linear structures to dense tiered deployments. Issues related to optimal resource allocation still persist for simplistic deployments including linear and hierarchical networks. In this work, we investigate the case of dimensioning parameters for linear and tiered wireless sensor network deployments with notion of providing extended lifetime and reliable data delivery over extensive infrastructures. We provide a single consolidated reference for selection of intrinsic sensor network parameters like number of required nodes for deployment over specified area, network operational lifetime, data aggregation requirements, energy dissipation concerns and communication channel related signal reliability. The dimensioning parameters have been analyzed in a pipeline monitoring scenario using ZigBee communication platform and subsequently referred with analytical models to ensure the dimensioning process is reflected in real world deployment with minimum resource consumption and best network connectivity. Concerns over data aggregation and routing delay minimization have been discussed with possible solutions. Finally, we propose a node placement strategy based on a dynamic programming model for achieving reliable received signals and consistent application in structural health monitoring with multi hop and long distance connectivity.
The 5G Cellular Backhaul Management Dilemma: To Cache or to Serve
Hamidouche, Kenza,Saad, Walid,Debbah, Merouane,Song, Ju Bin,Hong, Choong Seon IEEE 2017 IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS Vol.16 No.8
<P>To reap the benefits of cache-enabled small cell networks, new backaul management mechanisms are needed to prevent the predicted files that are downloaded at the small base stations (SBSs) for caching purposes from jeopardizing the urgent requests that need to be served via the backhaul. Such mechanisms must account for the heterogeneity of the backhaul that will encompass both wireless backhaul links (at various frequency bands) and a wired backhaul component. In this paper, the heterogeneous backhaul management problem is formulated as a minority game in which each SBS has to define the number of predicted files to download, without affecting the required transmission rate of the current requests. For the formulated game, it is shown that a unique fair proper mixed Nash equilibrium (PMNE) exists. A self-organizing reinforcement learning algorithm is then proposed and shown to converge to a unique Boltzmann-Gibbs equilibrium, which approximates the desired PMNE. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed approach can be close to that of the ideal optimal algorithm while it outperforms a centralized greedy approach in terms of the amount of data that is cached without jeopardizing the quality-of-service of current requests.</P>
China-US Relations in the Post Trump Era
Mir Sher Baz Khetran,Saad Bin Zafar Sraw,Mohammad Anjum Saeed 아시아사회과학학회 2021 Jornal of Asia Social Science Vol.3 No.1
Since US President Donald Trump took charge of White House in 2017, his government termed China as revisionist power and started a Trade war with China that worsened already ongoing geopolitical rivalry between two global giants. It also challenged the established norms of international relations on many fronts by reshaping geopolitical alliances. Trump imposed tariffs and other trade barriers on China with the goal of forcing it to make changes to what the U. S. states unfair trade practices , disrupted a longstanding bipartisan consensus on U. S. policy towards China. The U. S always has had a relation with China based on its own interests. Biden during his tenure as a vice president advocated engagement with Beijing but he criticised the paradigm shift in dealing with China during Trump reign and also objected to 2020 January s trade deal with President Xi Jinping as hollow .
Feedforward of Grid Line-to-Line Voltages for Grid-Connected Inverter under the Weak Grid Condition
Alireza Shayestehfard,Hamza Belkamel,Saad Mekhilef,Hazlie Bin Mokhlis,Mutsuo Nakaoka,Koki Ogura 전력전자학회 2015 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2015 No.6
Feedforward control is reliable for rejecting fast and dynamic voltage disturbances in the grid. Mainly this scheme is implemented based on phase voltages of the wye connected configuration. Under unbalanced and distorted grid-condition, the online conversion of line-to-line values into the phase values is unworkable. In order to exploit full advantages of feedforward controller, an appropriate modulator is needed. In this paper the feedforward of grid line-to-line voltages is used in lieu of phase voltages. The introduced feedforward method is implemented with implicit zero-sequence discontinuous pulse width modulation (IZDPWM) technique that is compatible for grid-connected inverters. Regardless the grid topology, IZDPWM exactly copies the distorting harmonics of the grid voltage. Hence, a sinusoidal current is injected to the grid. Moreover, for measuring the grid line-to-line voltages two sensors are required; hence overall system cost is reduced and control system reliability is increased.
An Automated Object Retrieval System for Warehouses
Amna Khan,Abdul Rehman Sair,Anas Ekram,Saad Malik,Muhammad Raheel Afzal,Ali Bin Junaid,Amre Eizad 제어로봇시스템학회 2015 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2015 No.10
The transport of objects in a warehouse is an indispensible but time consuming task, and is therefore the focus of extensive research. This paper presents a system that autonomously retrieves boxes placed in shelves according to the part number fed in the system by the user. The system utilizes a modified implementation of the A* algorithm to determine the shortest path for retrieving the objects. A maximum of three objects can be retrieved in one round by the robot. After retrieval, the objects are delivered to a delivery station. Line tracking sensors are used for robot navigation. Telescoping arms mounted on the robot are used to retrieve objects from the shelves. The guidance algorithm and Graphic User Interface (GUI) have been implemented using MATLAB® and the robot has been designed using SolidWorks®.
