In this paper, an innovative sliding mode framework is used to propose an observer-based adaptive control scheme for uncertain switched systems with unknown time-varying delay. First, a state observer with no input information is built incorporating a new sliding manifold (SM) to rebuild the unmeasured state variables, which does not rely on accurate information of the time-delay. By picking a suitable Lyapunov function, using the average dwell time (ADT) approach and linear matrix inequality (LMI) tool, a novel stability criterion for the resultant sliding motion is devised. In addition, to meet the defined SM’s arrival condition, a new adaptive variable structure controller is constructed. Finally, two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the efficacy of the control method.
A fault diagnosis method for rolling element bearings based on ICEEMDAN and Bayesian network
Zengkai Liu,Kanglei Lv,Chao Zheng,Baoping Cai,Gang Lei,Yonghong Liu 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.5
As commonly used components in rotating machinery, rolling element bearings (REBs) can fail due to complex working conditions and high-speed rotation. The failure of bearings may cause great damage. It is necessary to identify the faults of bearings to prevent property losses and heavy casualties. This paper proposes a fault diagnosis approach based on improved complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise (ICEEMDAN) and Bayesian network. The intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) extracted by ICEEMDAN algorithm are applied to construct feature vectors based on the energy entropy, and then the fault diagnosis model of the bearing is constructed by Bayesian network. The influence of load and sampling frequency on diagnostic accuracy of the bearing with different fault types is studied in this paper. And the research results show that the ICEEMDAN-BN method can improve the uncertainty reasoning ability and accuracy of the developed fault diagnosis model.

The chemically modified lignin was synthesized based on rice straw and the adsorption properties of AuCl4 - were investigated in this paper. The adsorbent was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, scanning electronic microscope and thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. The chemically modified rice straw lignin was of excellent thermal stability and had plenty of primary amines and hydroxyls. Many influence factors such as initial concentration of AuCl4 -, adsorption time and concentration of hydrochloric acid on AuCl4 - were optimized. The maximum adsorption capacity was 783.94 mg·g-1. The equilibrium adsorption time was 600 min. The equilibrium isotherm fitted well with the Langmuir model and the pseudo-second-order kinetic model was suitable for describing the adsorption of AuCl4 -. Low hydrochloric acid concentration could promote the selectivity of adsorption on AuCl4 -. Combination of ion exchange and reduction was the mechanism. AuCl4 - was adsorbed by ion exchange first and then reduced from hydrochloric acid medium in the form of Au(0) by phenolic hydroxyl.

Haiwen Liu,Shen Li,Xuehui Guan,Baoping Ren,Jiuhuai Lei,yanwang 한국전자통신연구원 2014 ETRI Journal Vol.36 No.1
A microstrip dual-wideband bandpass filter using amultimode resonator (MMR) is proposed in this letter. Theproposed MMR loaded with a T-shaped open-ended stub and ashort-ended stub exhibits triple mode characteristics, and asynthesis method is developed to illustrate the wide passbandwith independently controllable center frequencies andbandwidths. To verify this design methodology, a dualwidebandfilter with fractional bandwidths of 19.1% and27.9% is designed and fabricated. The measured results agreewith the simulations.

The in vitro antibacterial properties of two kinds of chitosan solutions and their effect in protection of broccoli from bacterial head rot disease were evaluated. Results showed that the two kinds of chitosan solution at different concentrations exhibited strong antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas fluorescens. However, the antibacterial activity of chitosan A solution increased with the increase of chitosan concentration up to 0.10 mg/ml while the antibacterial activity of chitosan B solution increased with the increase of chitosan concentration up to 0.05 mg/ml. In addition, the antibacterial activity of chitosan A and chitosan B solution of 0.10 mg/ml increased with the incubation time within 12 h and 24 h, respectively. The disease incidence and the lesion diameter of broccoli inoculated with P. fluorescens were significantly reduced when plants were either pretreated or post-treated with six different combinations of chitosan solutions. Overall, the results indicated that the two kinds of chitosan solutions had a potential in controlling bacterial head rot of broccoli.
