The buckling behavior of CWR tracks is affected by the various parameters such as stiffness and geometry of track panel, ballast resistance, rail temperature, initial imperfection, and wheel load. Until now, CWR tracks were managed by the dichotomous logic (deterministic approach) despite these influence factors are having the nature of random variables. So, the design method and existing management process to prevent the track buckling can be very non-economic since the value of these influence factors to calculate the track buckling strength are selected by considering the worst track condition. In this study, buckling probability evaluation process is proposed which is based on the reliability index, AFOSM method, and limit state equation.
콘크리트 궤도용 레일체결장치의 종방향 마찰거동에 대한 통계적 특성

장대레일 궤도가 철도교량 상에 위치하는 경우, 교량과 궤도의 상호작용에 의해 레일에 발생하는 축력분포가 복잡해 지며 부가축력이 발생하여 토노반상 장대레일에 비해 큰 축력이 레일에 발생된다. 이로 인해 교량상에 부설되는 궤도는 교량 과의 상호작용 영향을 최소화하여 궤도와 주행열차의 안전성을 추가로 확보하여야 한다. 국내 철도설계지침 및 편람 KR C-08080(궤도-교량 종방향 상호작용 해석)에서는 상호작용의 주요 변수인 레일체결장치의 종방향 저항(마찰거동) 물성치가 유럽기준을 적용하여 특정 수치로 규정되어 있으나, 국내 철도에 적용하기 위해서는 실제 사용되는 체결장치의 성능 특성을 반영한 검토가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내 교량상 콘크리트 궤도에 적용되는 레일체결장치의 마찰거동 실험을 수행하였 으며, 이로부터 체결장치의 물성치에 대한 통계적 특성을 분석하였다. In the case of CWR (Continuous welded rail) located on the railway bridge, the CWR has additional axial force due to interaction of bridge and track. Therefore, the CWR tracks located on the bridge have to secure the safety of running train and CWR track through mitigating influence for interaction of bridge and track. The railway design guide in Korea (KR C-08080) provides a certain value for property of longitudinal friction behavior of rail fastening system that is major parameter of interaction behavior by applying European codes. However, in order to apply to domestic railway, it is necessary to review property characteristics of the rail fastening system in actual use. In this paper, the experiment for longitudinal friction behavior of rail fastener applied to concrete track on the railway bridge in Korea was carried out, and statistical characteristic for property of the rail fastener was analyzed from the result of the experiment.

The continuous welded rail(CWR) track without the rail expansion joint has many advantages over the conventional track in a variety of fields including the speed-up and the ride comport. However due to the excessive axial force in the CWR and the track-bridge interactive behavior inevitably the rail expansion joint must be installed at the vulnerable zone such as the bridge end zone etc. In this rail expansion joint zone the frequency of the maintenance work to repair the track irregularity is on the rise. This is because that the creep of the sleeper is occurred in the moveable zone of the rail expansion joint. In this study among the several options for reducing the track irregularity on the rail expansion joint zone the application and efficiency of the tied sleeper is investigated. Field test construction has been conducted then the progress of the track irregularity and the frequency of the maintenance work are analyzed before and after the filed test construction.

The buckling characteristics of the continuous welded rail track(CWR) is uncertainly varied by many influence factors, such as rail temperature, operating conditions of a train and maintenance of the track etc. Therefore, applying the probabilistic approach method is essential to rationally consider uncertainty and randomness of the various parameters that affect the track buckling. In this study, the probabilistic approach analysis was carried out and the results were compared with the deterministic approach using the buckling probability evaluation system of CWR tracks developed by our research team. From the comparison, it was identified that a probabilistic approach can quantitatively assess the reliability of the CWR tracks based on failure probability and can be used as a tool for decision making in track design, maintenance and operating etc.
국내외 실태조사 분석을 통한 연안역 안전시설의 개선방향

최근 해양관련 레저 활동 및 관광의 활성화로 연안역에서의 안전사고 위험은 더욱 증가하고 있다. 그러나 현재 안전사고를 방지하기 위한 안전시설의 기술적 측면이나 관리적 측면에 대한 규정이 부재하여 연안역 안전사고 대책이 안전사고의 증가속도에 적절하게 대응하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 연안역의 지리적, 환경적 조건은 육역과 해 역의 특성이 혼재되어있으며 또한, 다양한 많은 활동(어업, 항만업, 관광, 레저)이 존재하므로 안전사고를 방지하기 위 한 안전시설을 설치하는 경우에는 육역 및 해역의 특성과 어부/항만노동자/관광객/레저활동자들의 행동특성이 적절히 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 국내 및 국외(홍콩, 마카오) 실태조사를 실시하였으며, 이로부터 국내 연안역의 안전 시설에 대한 현안 문제점을 제시하였다. 또한 안전시설에 대한 개선방향을 제안하였다. Recently, the risk of safety accidents in the coastal zone has been increased due to revitalization of marine leisure and tourism. Because of a lack of regulations about technical and maintenance aspect for safety facilities, the effective measures to prevent safety accidents in the coastal zone have not taken with increasing rate of the accidents. The nature of land/sea and behavioral characteristics of a fisherman/port laborer/tourist/people at leisure should be taken into account properly when safety facilities to prevent safety accidents in the coastal zone are installed, since the characteristics of land/sea and many activities such as fishery, harbor works, tour, leisure are mixed in the geographic and environmental condition of the coastal zone. This study analyzes the current problems on the safety facility in the domestic coastal zone through the domestic and foreign(Hongkong, Macau) field survey. Also the direction of the improvement about the safety facility are proposed.
