        韓國生 참꽃창포(Iris ensata Thunb. var. spontanea Nakai)의 自生地 生育環境 및 形態的 特性에 關한 硏究

        The present works were carried out to develop wild Iris ensata var. spontanea native to Korea into an flowering plant. Growth environment and characteristics of its morphology were studied. The results obtained are as follows. 1.The Iris ensata var. spontanea has been distributed all over the country, and it has grown naturally in wet soil of the sunnyside sandyloam areas ranged from low mountaintop to 1,300m above the sea level. 2.To study the habitat environment, Goksung is selected where the major habitat for Iris ensata var. spontanea. This study showed that the lowest air temperature was 0.2℃ in January and the highest of 26.2℃ in July to Augut. The maximum air temperature in July was 34.5℃. On the other hand, the minium in January was -6.1℃. The maximum percipitation was 337.0mm in July and the minimum was 19.0mm in October. The number of raining days was 10 in July, and October was 3. The hours of daylight was 229.4 in April and 135.0 in February. 3.Plarrt species showing high frequency rate in the habitat area were Iris ensata var. spontanea, Miscanthus anderss var. purpurasces and Imperata cylindrica var. koenigii. 4.The soil in native area was acidic and soil pH was 5.31, and average humus content, P2O5 SiO2, total N, Ca, Mg, and K were 6.970%, 80ppm 102ppm 0.41%, 4.43me/100mg, 1.28me/100mg, 0.648me/100mg respectively. 5.Among the characteristics of plant height, leaf, rhizome, floral stem, inflorenscence, flower, spathe, stigma, anther, filament, overy, capsule and seed were also surveyed. Plant height was ranged from 50.0cm to 130.0cm. The leaf type was ensiform 2-row alternate, and leaf was costa. The leaf length was ranged from 30.0cm to 70.0cm The characteristics of rhizome were thick, short and brownish. The roots are greyish white, and fiber rich. The spathe type was broad lanceolate and number of spathe was 3. The length of spathe was ranged from 5.0cm to 8.2cm and the width of spathe was ranged 0.4-1.1cm. Flower diameter was ranged from 12.0cm to 18.0cm. Flower colour was red-purple or violet. A flowering duration was from and June to July. Inflorescence type was biflorous, 3 flowers terminal or raceme. The length of floral stem ranged from 46.7cm to 104.1cm and the diameter of floral stem ranged 0.4-0.7cm. The length of pedicel was ranged from 3.2cm to 5.1cm and the dismeter of pedicel ranged 0.2-0.5cm. Outer perianth type was oval. The length of outer perianth segment ranged from 6.9cm to 9.4cm and the width of outer perianth segment, 3.4-4.7cm. Inner perianth type was oblong. The length of inner perianth segment ranged 4.1cm to 5.4cm and the width of inner perianth ranged 0.4-0.9cm. The style branch type was linear-lanceolate. The length of style branch ranged from 3.9cm to 4.7cm and width of style branch ranged 0.7-1.3cm. The style branch crest was two and lacerated triangle. Its top was sharply pushed in, and its bottom was wide and bent down. The length of style branch crest ranged from 0.9cm to 1.2cm. Length of stigma ranged from 2.5cm to 3.7cm and length of anther ranged 1.9-2.3cm. The length of filament ranged from 2.6cm to 3.1cm. Stigma were triangular, white and semi-orbricular. Ovary colour was yellowish green. The length of ovary ranged from 1.7cm to 2.3cm and the width of ovary ranged 0.5-1.0cm. The length of capsule ranged from 2.5cm to 3.0cm and the width of capsule ranged 1.3-1.8cm. Seed colour was brown and seed type was variform. The length and width of seed was ranged from 0.4cm to 0.8cm.
