Energy demand characteristics of hotel, hospital, and office building are compared to provide guidelines for combining building in community energy system design. The annual, monthly, and daily energy demand patterns for electricity, heating, hot water and cooling are qualitatively compared and important features are delineated based on the energy demand models. Key statistical values such as the mean, the maximum are also provided. Important features of the hourly demand patterns are summarized for weekdays and weekends. Substantial variations in both magnitudes and patterns are observed among the 3 building types and smart grouping or combination of building type and size is essential for a successive energy supply.
Energy demands for hotels in Korea are surveyed and statistically analyzed to develop calculation models for a simulation. Daily energy loads of 16 hotels located in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Inchon, and Daejon are analyzed based on energy log sheets. Detailed hourly loads are field measured for 3 hotels that are carefully selected among the surveyed. One of the salient features for energy consumption by hotels is their weekly periodicity. Relatively large values of deviations are observed for both heat and electricity loads through the country. The mains factors are: location, hotel grade (luxuriousness) and insulation. Detailed quantitative information such are annual average, daily variation, and hourly patterns are provided.

본 연구는 오늘날 유아교육기관과 특수학교를 포함한 모든 학교와 지역사회는 생명론적 세계관에 기초하여 우리의 고유한 정서인 정과 우리의식을 담아낸 따뜻한 교육공동체의 구현을 필요로 한다고 보고, 그 개념적 방향 설정의 논거를 제시하고 정과 우리의식의 실제화 방안을 모색해 보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 우리나라의 전통 사상에서의 생명관은 공동체적 삶과 어떤 연관성이 있는지를 살펴보고 한국인의 오랜 공동체적 삶에 녹아있는 정과 우리의식을 고찰하여 이에 기반 한 따뜻한 교육공동체를 구현하기 위한 방안을 탐색하였다. 그리하여 정과 우리의식의 윤리를 확립하고 학교생활에서 이를 움트게 할 수 있는 의례를 개발하며, 개별 학교의 독특한 문화를 반영하고 생성하는 상징이나 상징물과 집단놀이와 식(食)문화 행사의 향유 기회 제공 및 각 구성원을 위한 학습공동체와 같은 다양한 하위공동체 활동에 참여를 격려하기 등을 제시하였다. 따라서 앞으로 구성원별 교육공동체 역량 증진 활동과 프로그램의 개발을 자극하여 궁극적으로 따뜻한 교육공동체의 실천 모델을 개발하고 정교화 시켜 나가는데 필요한 기초자료가 될 수 있다는데 의의가 있다. This study aims to suggest that all the schools and communities, including early childhood education institutions and special education schools, need to implement a ddadeutan(warm) educational community that can embody Cheong(情) and Wooriuisik(weness), which are our unique emotional cognitive values, based on the viewpoints of life-giving, life-saving and the reverence of life. As such the purpose of this study is to present the argument how to establish and practice Cheong, Woori, and the reverence of life in the educational communities. First, we looked at what relationship existed between the life view of Korean traditional thought and Koreans' community life as the theoretical basis of life-saving through a community. Next, the concepts of Cheong and Wooriuisik which are dissolved in the long-time community life of Koreans were examined and the ways to develop a ddadeutan educational community based on such concepts were explored. Finally, suggestions are presented to establish a warm educational community: 1) practices of ethics of Cheong and Wooriuisik should be established in educational communities, 2) rituals in schools should be developed for school members to implement ethics of Cheong and Wooriuisik, 3) symbols that can reflect the unique culture of an individual school, more opportunities of group play and food culture events to enjoy together, and encouragement of participation in various sub-communities such as a learning community. This study can be a basis necessary to develop and elaborate a practice model of a ddadeutan educational community by stimulating activities and programs for promoting the competency of educational communities members.
The importance of the evaluation and verification of small-size cogeneration system has been emphasized because there is no KS-code related to the small-size cogeneration system. The evaluation method of small-size engine cogeneration system, regarding Japanese standard JIS B-8122 and international standard organization, ISO-8528, was applied to the system. The evaluation methods, start-test, rapid-load-up and rapid-load-down, etc. were executed at the system, and reasonable results were acquired. The electrical and thermal efficiencies were executed and analyzed at various load conditions. The NOx emission at various load condition was also measured. Finally, the gas engine cogeneration system was installed to a site for actual usage and it was continually operated during more than 6 months as the site condition.
The field-surveyed and measured energy consumption data is processed to develop building energy demand models for heating, hot water, cooling, and electricity. The load models are systematically organized as a database and hourly loads for a span of year (8760 hours) are generated by the program. Based on those models a Microsoft Access application program is developed to calculate energy demands for a Community Energy System (CES) composed of 17 types of buildings. User-friendly interlaces are provided to assist non-expert end users and necessary tools to link the calculation results to subsequent coagulations such as operation simulation or economic assessment.
