발생된 도로교통소음 예측을 위한 새로운 방법을 제시하고자 하며, 본 연구에서 도시지역 도로 한 Block내에서는 도로교통 특성이 유사하므로 한 Block을 한 Box로 간주하였다. 이 예측방법은 한 Block 내에서 발생한 다양한 도로교통소음을 예측할 수 있다. 본 Model의 검증은 도로에서 실측한 소음레벨 및 교통특성을 활용하여 실시하였으며, 실측된 소음레벨과 예측된 소음레벨의 상관성을 살펴본 결과 높은 상판관계를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. In order to establish a prediction method for road traffic noise generated from actual traffic flow, a new approach is proposed for practical use. One block in urban road is regarded as one box in this study. This prediction method is able to treat any kind of road traffic noise generated from one block. The validity of the proposed prediction method has been experimentally confirmed by applying it to actually observed road traffic noise data. The correlation between observed and predicted noise level is good.

This study was carried out to investigate the treatment efficiency of sequencing batch reactor when the livestock nightsoil organic loading rate was varied. Sequencing batch reactor was operated with the variance of influent BOD concentration and operating cycle. The average influent BOD concentrations in this study were 150 mg/l, 200 mg/l, 250 mg/l, 300 mg/l, 350 mg/l, 400 mg/l, 450 mg/l and 500 mg/l in the condition of 1~3 cycles/day. The treatment efficiency of sequencing batch reactor is good at the volumetric loading of 0.05~0.20 kg $BOD/m^3\cdot day$. Therefore, sequencing batch reactor process would become an effective alternative for the process of small scale livestock nightsoil treatment plants.

Information on the heating values of municipal solid wastes is very important in evaluating the feasibility of incineration and RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) manufacture. This paper describes the forecasting methods about the lower heating values of municipal solid wastes. The lower heating values are forecast by the heating values of physical components. The municipal solid wastes consist of paper, food wastes, textiles, plastics, wood and rubber (contained leather). These are the physical components of municipal solid wastes.

Neighboring buildings which are sufficiently close to both sides of an urban street reflect sound back to the road and sound energy is increased by thses reflectors. Therefore, this study is forcussed on the prediction modeling for road traffic noise under reflective conditions. A part of a block in urban road is regared as a box. The sound energy density in the box is employed to establish prediction formulas in terms of independent variables. The variables. The validity of the proposed prediction method has been experimentally confirmed by applying it to actually measured road traffic noise data. On the whole, the agreement between measured and predicted noise levels appeared to be satisfactory.

This paper describes the impact of reflected sound in tunnel. The impact of reflected sound is obtained from making a comparision between measurements of tunnel and bridge. Sound level of tunnel is higher than that of bridge because reflected sound is generated in tunnel. Road traffic noise cannot be freely propagated because there are many buildings in urban. Therefore, a tunnel effect is generated in urban road. The impact of reflected sound is generated not only in tunnel, but also in urban road. This study provides the basic data for tunneling work and noise control strategy in urban road.

타이어 주변의 기온이나 도로 및 타이어 표면의 온도가 타이어 소음에 영향을 미친다는 연구는 행하여진 바 있으나, 기존의 연구들은 온도가 소음레벨에 미치는 영향을 정확히 밝혀내지는 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이 부분에 대하여 좀 더 구체적으로 연구하고자 온도범위 4~34℃, 자동차 주행속도 53 및 80km/h에서 6종류의 자동차 타이어 셋트를 갖고 실험을 행하였으며, 그 결과 기온은 자동차 소음에 미치는 영향의 정도를 밝힐 수 잇다. Tire-pavement noise is a significant portion of noise coming from road vehicles and is therefore a logical focus of efforts to reduce overall traffic noise. A small but significant reduction of noise level with positive temperature increases was observed for some tires. The reduction was evident in two of the tires at 53 km/h and five of the tires at 80 km/h. The temperature gradient of the different tires at 80 km/h range from -0.07 to +0.01 dB/℃. Frequency analysis of the tire noise identified that noise content in the range of 1,300 to 1,900 Hz is particularly sensitive to temperature changes.
