The Ball Bush widely used in the automation field is linear motion bearing. Its plate and steel ball have a structure contacting the out diameter-housing part and inside diameter shaft respectively. Making the precise measurement of the plate thickness is important because the quality of Ball Bush is determined by the plate and steel ball. The plate thickness measurement by the Micrometer has a considerable errors in general. In order to do it, this paper proposes the AMS (Auto Measuring System) for the plate thickness measurement using LVDT(Linear Variable Differential Transformer) sensor instead of the Micrometer.

In this study, a PC-based steering simulator is developed such that the steering of the vehicle and the vehicle dynamics program are constructed into the HILS(Hardware-In-the-Loop System). This steering simulator is composed of Hardware(steering wheel, potentiometer, self-aligning BLDC motor, D/A board, Macintosh etc.) and Software(CAPC : Crewman's Associates for Path Control). According to the steering angle input, the vehicle motion is calculated from the software and its animated motion in the roadway scene is displayed on the computer screen. In order to give the realistic feeling to the subject driver, the self-aligning torque is generated through the BLDC motor. The proposed low-cost steering simulator can be very useful for the feasibility study of new steering control algorithms, the driver's steering behavior research and road-departure accident simulations.

Currently A demand of high precision workpiece is increasing in industry. At present, roundness measuring machine using Air bearing, coordinate measuring machine that are used from measurement station. but these machines will not be able to apply to In-line process. because of like these machine"s price are very expensive and measurement time is long. also, the complexity of conventional roundness measurement method based on fourier transform, it makes difficult to development analysis program. This work present new architecture of a Out-diameter measuring system for analysis of roundness of product. In this system, the influence of table motion errors is minimize by using two LVDT sensor and knife edge contact tip. We are produce a test machine and make an experimenter on Out-diameter of test bearing. The measurement result compared with roundness measuring machine.
