夏炳郁 慶北大學校 1975 論文集 Vol.19 No.-
This study is carried out to invest the farm-income structure of farmhouse acording to the farming types in Kyungpook province. The farming types are classified into the six types, that is management of rice, apple and rice, red pepper and rice. garlic and rice, water melon and rice, and sericulture and rice. The basis of calssification depends upon the cultivating crops which they are adapted to the regional characteristics of each farming types at present. These farming types are compared with each other in the aspects of profit, productivity and farm expense. The obtained results are as follows; 1) The red pepper is cultivated by a single cropping system for a year, and garlic and water melon are capable of cultivating by the double cropping system for a same period. But, in the aspect of profit, the red pepper is the more profitable than the other two crops. 2) Among the every farming types, apple and rice farming type (main crop is apple) is the highest in cultivated acreage, assets of farmhous and gross income. On the other hand, this farming type is shown by the fact that invested farm expenses are higher than that of the other types. 3) In order to increase profit of farmhous, farmers have to choose the special-purpose crops that they can be well adapted to their regional characteristics and need low expenses and labour as possible. This is a matter of immediate necessity in Korean agriculture. 4) Though each farming types intensify labour and capital, farmers will not expect to the considerable results of management under the some limitted conditions in nowdays. 5) As the managements of special-purpose crops choose the cropping systems which they are comparatively well suited for their management, productivities (involved in soil, labour, capital) of them are higher than that of common crops(rice crops). 6) In order to the establishment of the more efficient farming types and farming plans for the future, farmers have to choose the more profitable special-purpose crops which are based on natural and internal conditions, etc.
