The objectives of this study were to investigate the atomization characteristics and the engine performance characteristics using the change of injection nozzle form and ultrasonic-energy-added diesel fuel.<br/> 1. To evaluate the effect of ulrasonic energy and the change of injection nozzle form, droplet size<br/> measurements earned out using Malvern system. 2. To analyze the change of ultrasonic-energy-added diesel fuel, chemical analysis and physical analysis earned out using 'H-NMR spectrum, viscosity system and surface tension system.<br/> 3. In the diesel engine test, there were results about engine performance and exhaust emission.<br/> In Summary, the results of this study indicate that ultrasonic-energy-added diesel fuel induced beneficial changes in SMD, engine performance and exhaust emission. And the B type was excellent in all type of injection nozzle.

This paper describes briefly the effect of ultrasonic fuel supply device on the performance of four stroke cycle gasoline engine. Experiments were carried out to clarify the effect of ultrasonic fuel supply device on the engine output, traveling fuel consumption ratio, exhaust emissions.<br/> The results were obtained as follows:<br/> 1. Engine output was increased 9~14 % in comparison with that of the conventional injector. 2. Travelling fuel consumption ratio was improved 17~29 % in comparison with that of the conventional injector.<br/> 3. CO, HC exhaust emissions was decreased compared to the value of the conventional injector. 4. Fuel consumption ratio in highway driving test was improved about 10 % in comparison with<br/> that of the conventional injector.

목적: Clomiphene citrate 부하 검사와 과배란 유도 주기에서 혈중 leptin 농도의 변화 양상을 규명하고 난포호르몬과의 상관 관계를 규명하고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법: Clomiphene citrate 부하 검사를 시행하는 27명의 여성과 과배란 유도를 시행 할 14명의 여성을 대상으로 혈중 leptin 농도를 측정한 후 이를 체질량지수(body mass index)로 보정 후 leptin 농도의 변화 양상 및 혈중 난포호르몬과의 연관성을 분석하였다. 결과: 혈중 leptin 농도는 clomiphene citrate 부하 검사 주기의 각 측정시기에서 체질량지수와 유의한 연관성이 있었다(p<0.01). Clomiphene citrate 부하 검사 주기에서 leptin/체질량지수 치는 생리 3일과 10일에 비하여 중기황체기에 유의하게 증가되었고(p<0.05) 생리 주기의 규칙성에 따라 구분하였을 때 다른 양상을 보였다. Clomiphene citrate 부하 검사 주기와 과배란 유도주기의 난포기에서는 leptin/체질량지수 치는 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다. Clomiphene citrate 부하 검사와 과배란 유도 주기의 난포기에서 leptin/체질량지수 치와 난포호르몬 사이에 유의한 연관성은 관찰되지 않았다. 결론: 혈중 leptin 농도와 체질량지수 사이에는 유의한 연관성이 있다. Clomiphene citrate 부하 검사주기에서 중기황체기 leptin 농도는 난포기에 비해 유의하게 증가하였고, clomiphene citrate 부하 검사와 과배란 유도 주기에서 난소 자극 후 leptin 농도는 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다. 이들 결과로서 혈중 난포호르몬 농도는 혈중 leptin 농도에 주요한 영향이 없는 것으로 사료된다. Objective: To evaluate the changing pattern of serum leptin level and the correlation between estradiol level during the clomiphene citrate challenge test(CCCT) or controlled ovarian hyperstimulation(COH) cycle. Methods: Twenty-seven women who underwent CCCT and fourteen women who underwent controlled ovarian hyperstimulation were recruited to measure the serum leptin level. After correction of serum concentration with body mass index(BMI), changes of leptin level and correlation with serum estradiol level during CCCT and COH cycle were analyzed. Results: Circulating leptin levels were significantly correlated with BMI at each time point in CCCT cycle(p<0.01). In CCCT cycle, leptin/BMI level was significantly increased at midluteal phase compared to that of menstrual cycle day 3 and 10(p<0.05). In women with regular menstruation, leptin/BMI level at midluteal phase was significantly higher than that of menstrual day 3 and 10, but this difference was not seen in women with irregular menstruation. The leptin/BMI level in COH cycle showed increasing tendency throughout ovarian stimulation. But there was no significant correlation between leptin/BMI and estradiol level in CCCT and COH cycle. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between BMI and circulating leptin level. Midluteal leptin level is significantly higher than that of follicular phase in CCCT cycle, and there is an increasing tendency in leptin level after ovarian stimulation in CCCT and COH cycle without statistical significance. These findings suggest that circulating estradiol concentration has no major influence on circulating leptin level.

This study investigated the characteristics of ultrasonic energy added diesel fuel. We compared the characteristics used ^1H-NMR spectrum, FT-IR spectrum, viscosity and surface tension between conventional diesel fuel and ultrasonic energy added diesel fuel.<br/> The result are obtained as follow :<br/> We knew that ultrasonic energy cause to reduce BI and aromatics Ha, decrease viscosity and surface tension but increase Alkanes Hγ.<br/> The effect of ultrasonic energy added diesel fuel was principally caused by change of chemical structures and a physical characteristics.<br/>

Vortex tube is the device that can separate small particles from the compressed gas, as well as compressed gas into hot and cold flow. Because a vortex tube uses strong swirl velocity, it generates a high pitch noise. In this study 4 different silencers are tested to reduce vortex tube flow noise. Three are commercial silencer applied in pneumatic system, and the other is perforated silencer. As a result, 1/4 inch silencer shows the best sound absorption characteristics for all inlet air pressure range. 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch silencer show very similar sound absorption characteristics. However, perforated silencer shows sound absorption characteristics similar to 1/2 inch silencer at low inlet pressure, but shows the worst characteristics at high inlet pressure.

최근에 자동차용 기관의 연비향상과 배출가스 저감을 위하여 다양한 방법들이 연구되고 있다. 본 연구는 자 동차용 기관의 연비 개선과 배출가스 저감을 위해 A사에서 제작한 이온 세라믹 바를 시판 가솔린과 경유에 일정한 시간 침수시켰을 경우 침수시간에 따라 시판 가솔린과 경유의 분자구조 등에 어떤 변화를 주며, 그것이 연비 개선과 배출가스 저감에 어떤 영향을 주게 되는지를 예측하는데 목적이 있다. 목적을 달성하기 위하여 침수시간별 시료에 대 한 물리적 분석, 화학적 분석 실험을 통해 특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 가솔린의 경우는 화학적, 물리적 분석에서 세 라믹 바에 의한 분자구조의 변화로 기관성능 개선을 예측할 수 있었으나, 경유의 경우는 침수시간에 따라 변화가 불 규칙하므로 경유에 적합한 세라믹 바를 제작할 필요가 있다. Recently, variety of methods have been studied to improve automotive fuel economy and the reduction of exhaust emissions. The purpose of this study is to identify the change in the molecular structure of gasoline and diesel by the ion ceramic bar according to the immersion time and to predict the effect for the fuel economy and exhaust emissions by the immersion time. In order to achieve the purpose, we got sedimentation samples for physical analysis and chemical analysis by experiments and characteristics were analyzed. As a result, the changes in the molecular structure by the ceramic bar in the engine by the chemical and physical analysis was able to predict the performance improvement in the case of gasoline. But there is a need to produce suitable ceramic bar for the diesel because there was an irregular change depending on the time of sedimentation in the diesel.
