This paper presents the characteristics of current harmonics and torque ripple of Brushless DC motor, which is developed the fan blower of vehicles, according to input voltage waveform.<br/> To investigate the torque ripple and the phase current harmonics, these characteristics is analysed and compared the experimental results.<br/> In the process of analysis, FEM is introduced and computed a transient state torque of BLDC with a sinusoidal and a PWM wave voltage.
저전압 ClawPole형 ISG 시스템의 설계적 고찰에 관한 연구

Due to the need for improving fuel consumption, the trend towards increasing electrical content in automobiles, belt driven integrated starter and generator(ISG) system is being considered by the automotive industry. In this paper, to change conventional generator of the vehicle, a belt driven Integrated Starter Generator is considered. The overall ISG system, a design consideration on the Claw Pole typed AC electric machine and a low voltage very high current power stage implementation will be discussed. Test data of low voltage Claw Pole typed machine will be also presented, and a large current voltage source DC/AC inverter suitable for low voltage integrated starter-generator operation is presented. Metal based PCB(Printed Circuit Board) power unit which attaches 4-parallel MOS-FETs as used to achieve extremely high current capability. Issues related to torque assist at the vehicle acceleration, torque assist, and generation/regeneration characteristics are discussed. A prototype with capability up to 1000 amps and 27V is designed and built to validate the kilo-amp inverter.
