목적: 치매는 전반적인 지적 기능이 지속적으로 감퇴되는 것으로 기억, 언어, 시공간, 개념화, 판단력 등의 기능의 감퇴로 인하여 독립적인 생활영위와 자조활동의 수행이 어려워진다. 또한 치매노인은 시공간개념과 판단력, 균형능력 등의 감소로 인하여 보행에도 어려움을 호소하게 된다. 특히 시공간개념과 판단력, 균형능력 및 보행능력의 감소는 예기치 못한 상황에 대한 대처능력이 떨어져 낙상을 야기 시키는 심각한 원인이 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 치매노인의 전반적인 낙상 위험 요인과 예방을 위한 작업치료 중재를 검토하여 증가하는 치매노인인구의 건강하고 독립적인 생활과 삶의 질을 유지하는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 요약: 치매는 노인에게 있어 가장 많은 신경정신학적 장애를 유발하는 질환이다. 낙상은 치매노인의 일상생활과 일, 여가생활 등을 수행하는데 가장 치명적인 장애를 유발하는 원인으로 이러한 낙상으로 인하여 치매노인은 심리적인 장애뿐 아니라 이동 및 신체적 기능장애, 조기사망의 원이 되고 있다. 그러므로, 치매노인의 낙상예방에 대한 중재는 가옥구족의 변경, 다양한 보조도구의 활용 등을 통하여 치매노인의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 중요한 것이다. 또한 인지기능의 향상 및 동기부여는 낙상을 예방하는 중요한 요소이다. 치매환자에게 있어서 낙상은 매우 다양한 원인에 의해 발생할 수 있으므로, 낙상예방을 이한 좀 더 포괄적인 접근이 필요하다. Objective: This study is Occupational therapy intervention for prevention of falling in the patients with dementia. In this article was to review risk factor and intervention that minimize risk of falling in the patients with dementia. Risk factors for are classified as intrinsic or extrinsic. Summary: The dementia is the most disabling neuropsychiartric disorder of adulthood. The dementia is progressive and irreversible syndrome characterized by loss of Cognitive function in many domains, altered behaviors and inability to performance of functional acivities include activities of daily living, work and leisure. Falls are the most serious health problems in the patients with dementia. They are a major cause of premature death, physical injury, immobility, psychosocial dysfunction. Consequently, prevention of falling is important about patients with dementia quality of life as well as decrease of social resource. The external approach for falling is home modification of architectural barrier by occupational therapist. The various assitive devices and equipments used for prevention. Beside, emotional and cognitive behavioral approach help prevention. Falling is due to complex cause and therefore, prevention is required comprehensive approach.

The purpose of study suggest that new strategies available for the physical therapy curriculum development are trying to elicit from world-renowned universities those to keep pace with the globalization. The curriculum of 3 universities in Australia was compared with those of a four-year course in Korea. The 3 university are Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland Universities in Australia. Overall, the curriculum in Korea not only showed overlapping subjects, a shortage of clinical time and foundation science but, didn't deal with many subject to satisfy international recommendation. We suggest that a new curriculum should be based on the three parts which are foundation, essential divided into 6 areas and selection subject, particularly extended clinical experience to essentially need to be physical therapy in the world-standard.

발달장애아의 조기 치료교육의 필요성과 손동작을 중심으로 한 인지교육 프로그램

고도로 발달된 의학정보로 인하여 장애아들은 대부분 출생초기부터 장애의 정도와 진행양상에 대한 기초지식을 제공받게 된다. 더불어 부모들의 지적 수준 향상 및 경제력 향상은 장애아들의 치료교육에 대한 욕구를 높이게 하였고, 이러한 욕구는 점차적으로 지역사회에 있어서 장애인 복지시설의 증가현상을 낳게 되었다. 따라서 복지관 및 장애아들을 대상으로 치료하고 있는 치료기관에서는 장애아동에 대한 치료 프로그램이 절실히 요구되고 있는 실정이나 현 장애아동에 대한 치료교육프로그램은 체계화되지 못하고 그 연구마저도 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 조기 치료교육의 필요성을 인식하고 복지기관을 비롯한 장애아동을 대상으로 치료하고 있는 기관들에서 실시하고 있는 조기 치료교육 프로그램에 대한 기본개념과 인지교육 프로그램에 있어서 손 동작을 이용한 치료적 접근에 관하여 알아보고자 한다. This is the research for the purpose of define necessity of therapeutic education for developmental disorders, setting up a program of cognitive education with hands movements. We hope that this program will promote quailty of therapeutic education with disabled children and will be useful to occupational therapist with cognitive therapeutic program for disabled children in clinic. Futhermore, we suggest the study of therapeutic education program be done as soon.
