        40~50대 여성의 피부관리실 전문화장품과 일반화장품의 사용실태에 따른 인식도

        This study is aimed at looking into usage of professional cosmetics in skin care parlors and ordinary ones used by women in their 40s and 50s, suggesting ways to use professional cosmetics and directions after analyzing the level of satisfaction with professional cosmetics. I distributed questionnaires to 390 women who have used both professional and ordinary cosmetics from April 5 to April 25 this year and collected 384 questionnaires. I finally used 377 copies excluding those questionnaires whose responses were unfaithful. Data collected for this study were treated by SPSSWIN 12.0. I conducted the technical statistics analysis about the influence of cosmetics prices on cosmetics assessment and the Chi-square Test (χ2) about awareness according to features of cosmetics, differences in usage and what to be improved and complimented. Users of professional cosmetics choose cosmetics depending on their effects, while users of ordinary cosmetics choose products depending on their suitability for Korean people's skin. Users of professional cosmetics pointed out high prices as a weak point, while users of ordinary cosmetics pointed out skin troubles as a weak point. Users of professional cosmetics thought that their prices had to be lowered, while users of ordinary cosmetics thought quality of the products had to be improved. According to results of the study, makers of professional cosmetics should establish a service system satisfying consumer demands by correcting and supplementing parts of their products which consumers were less satisfied with than ordinary cosmetics.

        30ㆍ40대 여성의 피부관리실 전문화장품과 일반화장품 선택 시 고려사항 및 라이프스타일에 따른 화장품 만족도

        To analyze collected data, I conducted the frequency analysis and technical statistical analysis using the SPSSWIN 12.0 program and executed one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test as well. In order to verify propriety of factor analysis of life style, I carried out factor analysis using Principal Component Analysis and VARlMAX which is an orthogonal rotation method. As considerations taken to choose between professional cosmetics and ordinary cosmetics, users of professional cosmetics consider quality, negative effects, volume, credibility about the products, preference and purchase intention more, while users of ordinary cosmetics consider colors, containers and package design and fragrance more. A look into differences in satisfaction with professional cosmetics depending on life style showed that significant differences appeared in diversity of products, feelings when using them and effects shown after using the products according to life style. A look into differences in satisfaction with ordinary cosmetics showed that significant differences appeared in convenience in the process of product purchase, product prices, containers, design, package and fragrance. I could see that women were highly interested in cosmetics nd tried to improve skin problems by using cosmetics. Makers of professional cosmetics should establish a service system satisfying consumer demands by correcting and supplementing parts which are less satisfactory than ordinary cosmetics. Demands for professional cosmetics are expected to increase when those products influence the cosmetics industry and when the skin care industry becomes a center of markets in the future, so it is necessary to accurately understand what consumers want and to make endless efforts. As this study was conducted for women only, there were not sufficient accurate data. More studies will have to be executed about awareness and usage of cosmetics and such studies should be expanded to various age groups, genders and regions. Moreover, right information of home-care cosmetics used daily and more studies about concrete plans, systematic systems and ways to use cosmetics will be necessary to effectively manage skin using cosmetics.
