This study is a water-analysis compareing the water samples from mineral water spring in Chung-Ju area ( Nam San, Tan Kum Dae, Anlim Dong, Nam San temple ) with the standard of water supply in Korea. The results obtained are as follows ; It has been shown that the value in P.P.M. from the water-analysis for other substances than tubidity and nitrite nitrogen only falls shorts of the range of standard of water quality for water supply in Korea. Among the above-mentioned four kinds of mineral water, it has been shown that mineral water spring of Nam San temple contains the best kind of mineral in it's quality and quantity.

Located in the middle reaches of a South-Han River, the construction of Chungju Multi-Purpose Dam started in 1980 and finished in 1985.It provides the citizen metropolitan area with available water, hydro-electric energy, and plays the important part of controling the flood in down stream from the dam.But there are many changes owing to the construction of dam so this study focus on the analysis of the changes after the Dam built. The results of this study are as follows ; 1.The yearly average temperature as meteorological factor has not been changed by the Dam, although the change has been increased about 0.15∼0.5℃ more than before the Dam built.But there are some change of temperature by seasons, that is, the temperature of summer has decreased, and temperature of winter has increased by the expansion of the surface of water in the Dam.The relative humidity also has not been increased by the Dam, but only the velocity of wind and the evaporation. 2.As the evaporation is directly proportional to the velocity of wind and inversely proportional to the relative humidity, the decrease of evaporation in Chechon has been caused by the decrease of velocity of wind and the increase of relative humidity, and the increase of evaporative capacity in Chungju has been caused by the increase of velocity of wind and the decrease of relative humidity. 3.The obvious environmental change is the increase of foggy days.In specific, the foggy days of Chungiu area in October lasting for 16 days is much harm to agricultural products and resident's health, and the damage of the environmental change has been increasing by no circulation of the air of this area which is located on the basin. 4.The variation of precipitation after the Dam built has been increased along the upstream and downstream course of the river, although there are a little different between them.This is directly caused by the construction of environmental conditions to condense the hydrological factors after the Dam built. 5.The inflow and outflow of water into the Dam shows that total inflow is mainly obtained in the rainy season and the outflow is more than inflow from October to June next year as dry season. 6.The water quality at Chungju area has been keeping as 2nd grade water quality 13 years.

Pinosylvin, a stilbenoid phytoalexin, is a health ingredient to be extracted from pine leaves. In this study, ultrasonication-assisted extraction process for manufacturing extracts with high content of pinosylvin from pine leaves was investigated. As process and system variables, ultrasonic power, sonication time and solvent ratio were selected. According to the experimental results, the effective yield of pinosylvin increased with the increase of ultrasonic power and sonication time and the decrease of solvent ratio. When the ultrasonic power of 2400 W/L was added to the solution of pulverized pine leaves of 8 g per 1 L of a solvent for 10 minutes, yield of extracts and purity, effective yield and concentration ratio of pinosylvin were 0.3166 g/g, 0.7247 ㎎/g, 0.2294 ㎎/g and 23.0, respectively.
