In this study, the film cooling characteristics and the effectiveness of the double-jet film cooling hole were numerically investigated. In particular, thermal-flow characteristics in the vicinity of the double-jet film cooling hole are investigated with various ratios of pitch distance, hole diameter(P/d=4, 5, 6) and blowing ratios(M=1.0, 1.5, 2.0). Numerical study was performed by using ANSYS CFX with the shear stress transport(SST) turbulence model. The film cooling effectiveness and temperature distribution were graphically depicted with various flow and geometrical conditions.
