내부회계관리･운영조직 인력의 특성이 회계정보의 가치관련성에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 회계정보의 신뢰성을 제고하기 위해 도입된 내부회계관리제도가 도입 목적에 부합하는 지를, 내부회계관리･운영조직 인력의 특성(규모와 전문성)이 회계정보의 가치관련성에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석함으로써 살펴보고자 한다. 2004년부터 2012년까지 유가증권시장에 상장된 12월 결산, 비금융업을 분석하였고 표본 수 (firm-year)는 4,432개이다. 실증분석결과 첫째, 내부회계관리･운영조직 인력의 규모와 가치관련성 은 유의한 양(+)의 관계를 보여, 내부회계관리업무를 담당하는 인원의 수가 많을수록 가치관성은 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내부회계관리･운영조직 중 회계부서의 인력규모와 가치관련성은 유의한 양(+)의 관계를 보였다. 또한, 내부회계관리업무를 담당하는 인력 중 공인회계사 자격증 보유자의 수와 가치관련성은 유의한 양(+)의 관계로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 내부회계관리업무를 담당하는 인력이 회계에 대한 전문성이 있을 때 회계정보의 가치관련성이 증가하는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 내부회계관리제도가 실효성 있게 운영되기 위해서는 내부회계관리업무를 담 당하는 인적 자원에 대한 투자가 중요함을 나타낸다. This study presents analysis on the effectiveness of internal accounting control to the reliability of accounting information. This study also aims to identify certain factors (i.e. company size and company profiling) which can influence the effectiveness of internal accounting control. A sample size of 4,432 numbers from selected stock market accounts (from December 2004 to December 2012) was used and analyzed for this study. Results show that the size of the company’s organization (number of personnel) is directly proportional to the increase in effectiveness of the system. In addition, more positive results were expected when the personnel in charge of the internal accounting controls are adept with accounting and finance e.g. certified public accountant. These results translate to the importance of a person’s expertise with respect to the quality of delivered work or system. Based from this study, it is recommended that investment in human resources with relevant skills and competencies should be given higher priority and value in order to have effective and efficient internal accounting controls system.

대학의 중장기 발전계획과 졸업생의 요구에 따라 미래지향적 사회 비전을 반영한 Y대학교의 특성화 교양교육시스템 구축 및 적용 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 Y대학교 교양교육 프로그램의 역할을 재정립하고, 교양교육의 질을 체계적으로 높일 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. In accordance with the university’s medium to long-term development plan and the implementation of the desired qualities of graduates, there is a demand for the establishment and applicable research of a specialized liberal arts education system at Y University that reflects a future-oriented social vision. In line with this, the goal is to redefine the role of Y University’s liberal arts education program and provide a foundation of resources to systematically enhance the quality of liberal arts education.
