This study is aimed at analyzing the physical characteristics of Korean women's fashion models and providing the basis for the selection and training of excellent fashion models. To determine whether there is a difference in the characteristics of the human body for 28 excellent fashion models and 34 general fashion models through an internationally standardized measurement method to determine the physical characteristics of the excellent fashion model basic measurement 2 items, subcutaneous fat 8 items, length 8 items, circumference 13 items, width 9 items, height and weight, body shape and career, etc. were measured. In order to determine the characteristics and differences in the human measurement items of the excellent model and general model data processing method was applied to the technical statistics (Mean, SD) and independent t- verification (Independents-test) method using the SPSS 12.0 statistical program. In the basic item, excellent fashion models were found to be taller and more weight than regular fashion models. 2. Subcutaneous fat thickness is an excellent fashion model was found to have less subcutaneous fat thickness of the two pronged muscles than the general fashion model. Other items did not differ. 3. In the length item, the length of the legs in front of the general fashion model than the excellent fashion model, the length next to the halibut appeared larger, and other items did not differ. 4. The circumference of the excellent fashion model and the general fashion model did not differ from the circumference of the circumference item 이 연구는 한국 여성 패션모델의 신체적 특성을 분석하여 우수패션모델의 선발과 훈련계획의 수립에 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 국제적으로 표준화된 측정방법을 통하여 우수패션모델 28명과 일반 패션모델 34명을 대상으로 인체의 특성에 차이가 있는지를 규명하여 우수패션모델의 신체적 특성을 파악하고자 기초 측정 2항목, 피하지방 8항목, 길이 8항목, 둘레 13항목, 너비 9항목, 신장과 체중, 체형과 경력 등을 조사 측정하였다. 우수모 델과 일반모델의 인체측정 학적 항목의 특성과 차이를 확인하기 위해서 자료 처리 방법은 SPSS 12.0 통계프로그램 을 이용하여 기술통계(Mean, SD)와 독립 t-검증(Independents-test) 방법을 적용하였다. 가설검증을 위한 a 수 준은. 05로 설정하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 기초항목에서는 우수패션모델이 일반패션모델보다 신장과 체중이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 2. 피하지방 두께는 우수패션모델은 일반패션모델보다 두 갈래 근의 피하지방 두께 가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 그 외의 항목은 차이가 나지 않았다. 3. 길이 항목에서는 우수패션모델보다 일반패션모 델의 다리 앞, 넙다리옆 길이가 크게 나타났고 그 외의 항목은 차이가 나지 않았다. 4. 둘레 항목에서는 우수패션 모델과 일반패션모델의 둘레는 차이가 나지 않았다.
