Our country, the world-wide 5th dignity country importing energy, imports 97% of necessary energy from foreign nations, and this impose a heavy burden on our country. The fossil fuel which we are using will be exhausted in future 30~40 years. And then 30~40% of our country overall energy consumption quantity is using at the house, so the countermeasure against hereupon is demanded. As the alternate energy of the fossil fuel there are atomic energy, hydrogen energy, solar energy, underground temperature energy. Atomic energy has the problem about radioactivity and nuclear wastes, also hydrogen energy has the problem of the much production cost. But solar energy and underground temperature energy don't need the expense in energy acquisition after the beginning invest In addition underground temperature energy never product the pollutant which the fossil energy discharge. The strong point of underground space is able to use a warm temperature in winter and to do a cool temperature in summer. For using these advantages the tool is need, to analyse the temperature of underground space. In this paper FDM is adopted but the size of Ax and Ay is different for utility.
지중온도를 이용한 지하공간 벽체의 난방부하 계산에 관한연구

The energy crisis is culminating for the life of the fossil fuel in the future which is come to end at 30~40 years. Moreover above 90% of the energy in our country depend on importing and the crisis is more serious than it of other countries. So architects devote low energy house research and it means underground space research have become public opinion. But there is not an accurate and utility method calculating the heating load of underground space. In this study it is proposed that the heating load is calculated by setting adiabatic thichness of soil and predicting underground temperature. The prediction of the underground temperature is calculated by the latitude, the level, the distance from sea, the condition of earth surface.
한국과 미국의 건축과 대학원생들이 선호하는 건물시점에 관한 조사 연구

Buildings are seen differently by different people and each has their own preferable view points about any given structure. When a design is completed by the architect, she/he must take into consideration, very seriously, the clients esthetic point of view. The architect needs to highlight the clients esthetic desires when presenting the building's various view points. For the study we used a questionnaire to compare the common views(front and corner views) and the Bird's Eye View. Korean and American architectural graduate students were selected randomly to fill out a survey to attempt to measure the possible cultural difference concerning the three different view points.

For to use energy and to make available the slopping site, using underground space is gradually increased. Since there are many irregular sites in slopping regions, the thermal analysis of the underground space at the irregular site is needed. Croft and Myers wrote these thermal analyses of irregular regions. In this study Croft and Myers are surveyed and checked applying their theory to the practice.

There is an increased concern about environmental problems such as noise, air and water pollution. This paper presents the research result of train noises in the district of the Kumi Station. First, the value of the noise measured in 48 meters' distance from the rail road toward the downtown is 25dB. On the othe hand the noise value measured in 46 meters' distance from the rail road toward the opposite of the downtown is 62dB. Height of the anti-noise wall toward the downtown and the opposite site is 2.3 and 1.6 meters respectively. The measured noise values above are less than standard value, 65dB, which is proposed by law. Second, the measured value of noise toward the downtown and the opposite site are 8dB and 5.6 dB higher then calculated values of the noise respectively. The difference between the calculated and measured noise value arises from additional noises such as cars. Third, the noise in the long distance from the Kumi Station is increased because the noise is related to the velocity of the train. Thus the research of the noise through all the train road within the Kumi City if required.

This paper presents the future direction of the development and maintenance of the urban park of the Kumi city. The direction was obtained by analyzing the evaluation results on the satisfaction level of park use and the park image of the park users. The analysis results are as follows. 1) It turns out that the rest and accommodation facilities are the major facilities that uplifts the total image of the park. 2) Among the park images, the image on the pleasantness was the major image, related with the satisfaction on the park equipments. 3) The social class, who gave a bad score on the above equipments and images, is a low-aged class, who is a white class with high income as well. Therefore, it is suggested that the park maintenance plan, with emphasis on the class, is an important task.
