The purpose of this study is to examine and analyse the level of information understanding for Gyeongju Citizens. To fulfill this purpose, we examined the understanding of informabon and information society, and examine the understanding concerning the prospect of social development and the dysfunction of the information era. We compared and analyzed the results from the national survey carried out by the Information Culture Center of Korea in April, 2001, with the results of the survey carried out on Gyeongju citizens. The results of the analysis is as follows. First, the understanding level of information and information society for the people of Gyeongju was lower than the national average, and there was some digital &vision among the people of Gyeongju, according to their different backgrounds. Second, concerning the social development due to the formation of the information era, high percentage of Gyeongju citizens agreed on the subjects like the increase in cultural interchange, economic development, establishment of society that respects individual ability and skills, increase in personal avocational time, etc. But a high percent of Gyeongju citizens disagreed on the subjects like the settlement of regional/structural difference, development of democracy and increase in personal avocational time. Also, the percentage of affirmative answers were lower than the national average and showed great difference between the people from different backgrounds within the Gyeongju area. Third, Gyeongju citizens predicted the invasion of privacy, invasion of intellectual rights, destruction of information, increase of violence and obscene items etc. as the reverse functions of the information era. The answering percentage for the prediction of the Increase in the reverse functions of the information era was lower than the national average and it also showed slight difference in answering among the people from different backgrounds. The key meaning for this study is to examine the level of information understanding for a regional spectrum, not as a national one, and these examination results could be used as the fundamental and the basic materials for future activation of information society for Gyeongju citizens.

경주주민의 컴퓨터 이용에 관한 조사연구

This study is focusing on the analysis of current situation of computer usage of Kyongju citizen in order to provide with necessary information for helping build a proper strategy which make it possible for the citizen to enjoy better information. To do so, we co.pare the material that we examined with the data on the same subject released by Information Culture Center of Korea in April 2001 and analyze them. As a result of analysis, we find that while the percentage of possession and utilization of computer is higher than the nation's average percentage, regarding to computer usage frequency, average usage hour per day, purposes of computer usage and using software, Kyongju has shown lower profile. Moreover, in the case of households not possessing computer, the number in Kyongju is quite same with the nation's average, even though the analysis for non-possession category has not united yet. Therefore, it is required to set appropriate policies for promoting practical use of computer in order for Kyongju citizen to utilize their high-class computer.

조직구조에 따른 정보기술 수준의 차이분석

This study determines a dynamic relationship between IT and an organization structure. The literature review proposes a study model and Hypotheses are as follows; There is a difference in the lvel of IT according to the sophistication of organizational structure. A questionnaire survey was practiced to examine the hypothesis. Of the manufacturing or service establishments applying IT to a considerable degree, a sample was chosen using the purposive sampling method. The level of IT was measured inclusively in terms of technology level, information level, functional level, and management level. And, organizational structure was measured in terms of complexity, formalization, and decentralization. Questionnaire sheets were sent to 70 corporations. 347 sheets filled out were analysed through using SPSS PC+ package. Hypothesis was partially accepted, indicates that a corporation of higher structure sophistication has a partially higher level of IT. Theoretical and empirical analyses in the avove lead to the followings. In the theoretical aspect, the measurement of IT in a corporation is required to define IT broadly. In the empirical aspect, the lvel of IT in a corporation is determined by organizational characteristics such as organizational structure.

중소기업의 정보화경영체제 도입전략에 관한 연구

The government has introduced IMS certification system to facilitate the information-oriented society, given that the level of information of minor companies in the nation is relatively low and the information society is not full-fledged. The companies which have obtained IMS certification can enjoy a higher corporate reputation in their trade with businesses or customers externally. And, internally, through raising the level of the performance of information, the management efficiency and productivity will be remarkably increased. The IMS system, however, is just a domestic certification system, not international system. And with its beginning stage of introduction, available model of the certification system has not been established. Therefore, it is expected that for minor companies, the introduction of IMS may encounter several difficulties. This study is focused on providing a basic framework for introducing IMS in order to overcome these difficulties. I fully discussed the system to give insight to minor companies which were to promote the IMS system by presenting an example of companies which had successfully introduced IMS in their early stage of business, and, through this, providing the strategy of introducing IMS.

CRS의 전략적 특성 평가에 관한 연구 : AMADEUS 사례 분석;AMADEUS Case Study

CRS of the airlines is exemplified as a successful case of applying strategic information system(SIS). When computer reservation system(CRS) was first introduced, airlines employing CRS came to have a significantly competitive advantage over ones without CRS. Now all the airlines and travel agencies have been using CRS, which would not allow as much strategic significance as before. To investigate its strategic characteristics differentiated from the others, this paper practiced a case study of AMADEUS CRS which is most globalized and advanced in the market. Results of the are as follows. Although backed by the enormous organization, supporting equipment, various functions and properties, AMADEUS CRS doesn't give service providers (airlines) further advantage than before. But some service providers(hotel, car etc) and only users of CRS seem to have a very limited advantage in terms of its specific functions.

지역정보화를 위한 기초자치단체 웹사이트의 구축전략

The purpose of this study is to devise strategies for building web sites of local governments in an effective way. A review of web sites operated by local governments, domestic and overseas, suggests that a web site, if effective, should : 1) supply a systematic array of contents including variety of information so that it may play a pivotal role for regional informatization ; 2) develop a scanning system to facilitate an access to the information listed and networked to the web site, as the information is getting larger ; 3) serve as a portal site to network all the other web sites in the area and to provide integrated service to its users. 4) employ considerable public relations and advertising so that it may be successful; 5) demand a local government to take the lead for regional informatization ; 6) result from co-work with civil counterparts in a technology term ; These strategies will provide some guidelines along which web sites of local governments may be built more easily and effectively for the purpose of regional informatization.

창의적인 교수법을 위한 창의성 발현 과정에 관한 고찰

This study focuses on helping build up a creative teaching-learning method through the study of developing creativeness for a clever teaching method. For this purpose, the concept and the essence of the creativeness have been acknowledged, and a recent trend of the study on the creativeness has been analyzed. Furthermore, an implication for the teaching method of the creativeness at college has been investigated through the understandings of developing creativeness. A confluence approach method, in which factors from various pre-existing theories or approach methods on the creativeness are brought up together to develop, is persuasive in recent days. With this understanding of the creativeness in confluence, more various methods of the creative teaching method could be examined. In the process of developing the creativeness, both fast and slow processes of the creativeness are in present. When approaching in the slow process of the creativeness, a teaching instructor may interrupt during the process of developing students' creativeness, and various developments of the creativeness or developing programs may be in present. Therefore, the creative teaching method is not a certain technique that puts together, but it could be viewed as a system that helps with effective learning. A systemic thinking of the creative teaching method can contribute to effectively developing the creativeness when a teaching instructor leads a class with thorough preparations. That's what this study is worth meanings. Despite of these meanings, this study is restricted to the theoretical approach method and has a limitation not to being examined with the actual proof using the actual data.
