Groundwater monitoring is commonly practiced with real-time sensors placed in several depth spots in aquifer. However, this method only provides monitoring data at the point where the sensors are installed. In this study, we developed a vertical line monitoring system (VLMS) that can provide continuous data of groundwater parameters along the vertical depth. The device was installed in a well located on the coast of the eastern part of Jeju island to monitor electrical conductivity, temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and oxidation-reduction potential over approximately 3 months from September 11 to December 3, 2020. The results indicated that the groundwater levels fluctuated with the tidal change of seawater level, and the upper and lower boundaries of the freshwater and saltwater zone in the groundwater were located at below 16 m and 36 m of mean sea level, respectively. There was a large variation in EC values during the high tide and temperature change was the greatest during flow tide. Although further investigation is needed for improvement of the device to obtain more accurate and reliable data, the device has a potential utility to provide fundamental data to understand the seawater intrusion and transport mechanisms in coastal aquifers.
지구 자기장 기반 지문인식 및 추측 항법을 결합한 실시간 실내 위치정보 서비스

본 논문은 지구 자기장 기반의 지문인식과 추측 항법을 사용하여 실시간으로 실내 위치정보서비스를 사용자에 제공할 수 있는 알고리즘 및 솔루션을 제안한다. 지자기장 값의 변화 추이와 사전에 입력된 지자기장 값의 유사도를 판별하여 초기 위치를 추정하였으며 초기 위치에서 지자기장 지문인식과 추측 항법 상호 보정을 통해 보다 연속적인 이동 위치 추정을 함으로서 일부 5m가 넘어가는 지구 자기장의 최대 오차와 추측 항법의 누적 오차를 개선하였다. 그 뿐만 아니라 본 기법은 기존 지문인식 방법과는 달리 무선랜 AP등 인프라 구축을 제거하여 보다 경제적인 서비스 제공을 가능하게 한다. In the paper we propose and implement a new indoor localization system where the techniques of magnetic field based fingerprinting and pedestrian dead reckoning are combined. First, we determine a target’s location by comparing acquired magnetic field values with a magnetic field map containing pre-collected field values at different locations and choosing the location having the closest value. As the target moves, we use pedestrian dead reckoning to estimate the expected moving path, reducing the maximum positioning error of the initial location. The system eliminates the problem of localization error accumulation in pedestrian dead reckoning with the help of the ingerprinting and does not require Wi-Fi AP infrastructure, enabling cost-effective localization solution.
비정상적인 클러치 스테이아웃 현상을 개선하기 위한 최적화 설계

Vehicle company conducts many kinds of test and validation such as shift-ability, clutch pedal characteristic, pedal vibration and etc. for manual transmission development. Among the test procedures, clutch characteristic test is conducted regarding each engine speed according to a clutch test procedure. An abnormal clutch stay-out aspect is identified at A-vehicle during a validation which is evaluated by a test procedure whether it is acceptable or not regarding GM clutch characteristic target. Additionally it is able to see a loss of pedal reserve. An abnormal stay-out aspect is improved by an optimized design change according to a clutch characteristic’s feasibility validation process such a stay-out aspect regarding input shaft type, diaphragm spring depth & shape, strap force and etc. by a DFSS tool.

These days many people tend to choice Auto transmission than manual transmission. But some areas like Europe still prefer manual transmission than auto transmission for fuel consuming. While customers drive with manual transmission vehicle, they can shock manual transmission by their driving habit or mistake. So it makes clutch engage time variance and shock. These shocks effect on durability of manual transmission directly. We measured wheel torque with many condition and driver"s variance in vehicle, and then compared, analyzed. Through this analysis we built confidence of manual transmission and decide durability and stiffness of power train.
수동변속기 차량의 클러치 특성과 차량 발진 성능에 관한 고찰

This paper is focuses on launch performance with clutch system specifications. Automotives are controlled clutch pedal for connecting or disconnection powertrain by users. Recently vehicles take an interest in fuel economic, and reduce IDLE RPM about 80% than old product. This is made of full optimization with idle condition as air-conditioner, alternator, steering system with hydroid, others pumps and electronic loads. This is taking an influence modulation zone of clutch pedal trace, and users get the feel with easy and difficult launches.
