An outpatient case study of Cyaplex F: mitigated adverse effects associated with Imatinib

Objective: A case of reducing adverse effects associated with imatinib using Cyaplex F. Methods: The 52-year-old female with past medical history of stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer 10 years ago, and current metastatic melanoma has been complaining adverse effects after imatinib was started. Results: After OCNT was initiated, the patient’s headache and muscle pain have been much tolerable and her AST/CPK levels were returned close to her baseline. Conclusion: OCNT may reduce side effects caused by Imatinib and help patient to stay with the current chemotherapy regimen.

리눅스 환경에서 결함 허용 프로세스를 위한 검사점 및 복구 도구

In this paper, we suggest a checkpoint and recovery facility for the fault-tolerable process which is expected to be executed for a long time. The basic concept of the suggested facility is to allow the process to be executed continuously, when the process was stopped due to a System fault, by storing the execution status of the process periodically and recovering the execution status prior to the fault was occurred. In the suggested facility, it does not need to modify the source code for the fault-tolerable process. It was designed for the user to specify directly the file name and the checkpoint frequency, and two system calls(save, recover) were added. finally, it was implemented on the Linux environment(kernel 2.4.18) for checking the feasibility. 본 논문에서는 장시간 실행이 예상되는 결함 허용 프로세스를 위한 검사점 및 복구 도구를 제시한다. 제시한 도구의 기본 개념은 프로세스의 실행 상태를 주기적으로 저장함으로써 시스템 결항으로 인해 실행이 정지되었을 경우, 결함이 발생하기 전의 실행 상태를 복구하여 계속 실행시키는 것이다. 제시한 도구에서는 검사점 및 복구를 위하여 결함 허용 프로세스의 소스 코드를 수정할 필요가 없다. 이를 위하여 결함 허용 프로세스를 위한 파일명과 검사점 주기를 사용자가 직접 지정하도록 설계하고, 두 개의 시스템 호출(Save, recover)을 추가하였다. 마지막으로 제시한 기법의 타당성을 검토하기 위하여 리눅스 환경(커널 2.4.18)에서 구현하였다.

1. Objective To investigate characteristics of menstrual patterns according to Sasang Constitutional disease, and to utilize for diagnosis and treatment of Sasang Constitutional disease. 2. Method The recruited subjects were 430 women who convinced their Sasang Constitution by taking herbal medicine and improving of chief complaint. The items of data contain age at menarche, age at menopause, menstrual cycle, menstrual duration, cyclic regularity of menstruation, severity of menstrual pain, the worst day of menstrual pain, type of menstrual pain, amount of menstruation. 3. Results 1) Severity of menstrual pain, the worst day of menstrual pain, menstrual pain accompanied with nausea were significant among Sasang Constitutional diseases. 2) In Bae-chu-pyo-byeong disease (背椎表病證), Wi-wan-han disease (胃院寒證), So-eum disease (少陰證) and Tae-eum disease (太陰證), menstrual pain was severer than other diseases. 3) In Hae-yeok disease and So-yang-sang-pung disease (少陽傷風證), the worst day of menstrual pain was a day before menstruation. In Hyung-gyeok-yeol disease (胸膈熱證), Tae-eum disease (太陰證), So-eum disease (少陰證), the frequency of a day after menstruation in the worst day of menstrual pain was higher than other diseases. In Wi-wan-han disease (胃院寒證), Mang-yang disease (亡陽證), the frequency of two day after menstruation in the worst day of menstrual pain was higher than other diseases. 4) In So-yang-sang-pung disease (少陽傷風證), Mang-eum disease (亡陰證), Eum-heo-o-yeol diasese (陰虛午熱證), Ul-gwang disease (鬱狂證), Tae-eum disease (太陰證), So-eum disease (少陰證), the frequency of menstrual pain accompanied with nausea were higher than other diseases. 4. Conclusion Menstrual patterns, especially menstrual pain is different among Sasang Constitutional diseases. Assessing menstrual pain can be used for diagnosing Sasang Constitutional diseases, deciding treatment course, determinating prognosis.

Wet Station 장비를 제어하기 위한 모니터링 시스템의 설계

본 논문에서는 웨이퍼를 세정하는데 사용되는 Wet Station 장비의 상태를 감지하고, 이를 간접적으로 제어하기 위한 모니터링 시스템의 설계에 관하여 기술한다. 대부분의 기존 모니터링 시스템은 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어에 의존되어 있다. 제시한 모니터링 시스템의 기본 설계 목표는 사용자의 편의성과 시스템의 이식성을 제공하는 것이다. 이러한 요구조건을 만족시키기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 IBM PC 호환 기종의 윈도우즈 NT 환경에서 GUL 기능과, TCP/IP 통신 프로토콜을 기본으로 한 EtherNet 보드를 이용하여 시스템을 설계하였다. This paper describes the design of the monitoring system for monitoring the current status and indirect controlling of the Wet Station Equipment which is used for cleaning the wafer. Most of the conventional monitoring system depend on the special hardware and software. Basic design goal of monitoring system is provide the convenience for the use and the portability for the system. In order for the system to fulfil its requirements, it was designed using GUI (Graphical User Interface) facility based on the windows NT environment of IBM PC compatible and EtherNet board based on the TCP/IP protocol.

본 논문에서는 반도체 제조 장비인 W e t S t a t io n 의 동작 상태를 사용자가 감지하고 이를 간접적으로 제어하기 위한 모니터링 시스템의 설계에 관하여 기술한다. 대부분의 기존 모니터링 시스템은 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 범용성이 결여되어 있다. 제시한 모니터링 시스템의 기본 목표는 사용자의 편의성과 시스템의 범용성을 제공하는 것이 다. 이를 위하여 IB M PC 호환 기종의 W in d o w s N T 운영체제에서 G U I 기능을 이용한 사용자의 편의성과, T C P /IP 통신 프로토콜을 기본으로한 E th e r N e t 보드를 이용한 시스템의 범용성을 제공할 수 있도록 설계하였다.

In this paper, we have developed amateur boxing scoring system(ABOSCOS). This system makes a quick and fair decision because it decides only an accepting point among the five judges' individual judgements, counts the point in real time, and displays the result at once. We design easily usable switch boxes for inexperienced judges to computer by using DTMF decording circuit which recieves and decords the DTMF signal sent by judge's decision as a point or not by ONE-SEC algorithm. The application result of this system in the real game shows that all games have been finished fairly and objectively for it is impossible to decide unfairly and there have not been any troubles due to unfair judgement.

Convergence of the Numerical Solutions of a Nonlinear Partial Differential Equation

비선형 편미분 방정식중에서 멱항을 비선형 항으로 갖는 쉬뢰딩거 방정식의 수치해를 콜로케이션 방법을 사용하여 구할 때 생기는 수열의 수렴성을 밝히고 5.3 msec까지 안정적임을 프로그램 결과로 알아보았다.
