Recently the shipbuilding industry, shipping industry due to the sudden downturn, is facing difficulties such as order reduction or cancellation. Ships are not built in a short period of time. Therefore, the delay or cancellation of ship orders when unexpected situations to reflect the new production plans are scheduled. But current production plan system is not automation and established by the experience of scheduler. As a result, production plans and performance in the field have caused a lot of difference. The nature of the shipbuilding industry is large and complicated process, because it is difficult to plan a sophisticated production. In this paper, the proposed input information structure is to verify the production plan. It proposed method consists of using simulation technology. And use simulation to validate the production plan. Using this System, shipbuilding industry enables precise production plan.

Assembly scheduling in shipbuilding is responsible for determine assembly process orders and departmental production schedule for the block, the basic composite unit of ships. It is necessary much more information to decide production scheduling as the characteristic of shipbuilding which has been more complex and more various and also, a lot of waste of time and of human power is generated in the course of data processing. The target shipbuilding manufacturer of this study use empirical techniques, based on the user’s discretion, to compile and to apply data which are scattered in DB storages separately. Because of that reason, the user should not only be performed identification and screening operations but also modification and verification for vast amounts of data, so it is hard to keep the consistency of the data and also the operation time is not constant. Accordingly, the object in this study is by presenting an efficient DB framework to reduce wasting time and man-hour at experienced-oriented process, abate user’s manual operations and support an efficient scheduling in assembly processes.

Shipbuilding manufacturing which is based on make-to-order has many problems because of labor intensive feature, complicated producing, large structure, diversity components and manufacturing difficulty. For these reasons, it has low level of automation rate. These facts make difficulty of time/space constraints and labor/process plan distribution. So, mid-schedule planning of shipbuilding is kind of scheduling model which is making standard schedule for production of ship. It plays a key role in preparing big frame of process planning for ship which is comprised of blocks. Also, variety information from related departments builds successful mid-schedule planning. However, handlings of tremendous information are tended to depend on decision of worker. So, it occur many losses, such as time and effort wasting. Thus, in this paper, we suggest effective offering of data and systematization of information according to analyze existing mid-schedule planning work process. Furthermore it can supply punchy decision making data in time and then help to develop supporting system which can improve quality of production planning.

Recently, most companies continued to improve their competitiveness and to innovate is changing. Companies on the production of products in the production process scheduling are important. So, how can companies optimize production schedules and increase efficiency in production and research is ongoing. Currently, companies are using a variety of scheduling techniques. And during the Gantt chart and PERT/CPM(Program Evaluation & Review Technique / Critical Path Method) is used. The research In the Gantt chart scheduling and PERT/CPM using the ML (Multi-Layer)-Node creates a data structure.
