        열가소성 복합재료의 압축성형조건에 따른 기계적 특성 변화

        The objective of this work was to characterize mechanical properties of thermoplastic composites with various forming conditions in compression molding. Randomly oriented long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene(PP) was used in this work. The composite materials contained 20%, 30%, and 40% glass fiber by weight. Compression molding was conducted at various mold temperatures and charge sizes. The temperatures on the mold surface and at the material in the mid-plain were monitored during the molding. Differential Scanning Calorimeter was used to measure crystallinity at both in-side and out-side of the sheet material. Crystallinity at each temperature was also measured by X-ray diffractometer. Dimensional stability was studied at various conditions with the spring forward angle. Among the processing parameters, the crystallization time at the temperature above 130$^{\circ}C$, was found to be the most effective. Spring-forward angle was reduced and the tensile modulus was increased as the mold temperature increased.

      • CT검사시 조영제의 혈관외유출 발생률 감소를 위한 방안 모색

        Purpose The purpose of this study was that we made a guiding principle in the CT scan with contrast media and have applied it in order to improve patient satisfaction and job satisfaction among the radiological technologists and nurses through decreasing the incidence of extravasation of contrast media during CT scan. Materials and methods To get data of extravasation we had analyzed the factor of extravasation by comparing the cases(January 2006~December 2007) with the cases (January~February 2008). Also we found out the decrease of extravasation when the guiding principle was applied(May~April 2008) to the CT scanning. Results Before we applied these guiding principle(January~February 2008), the frequency of getting extravasation was ten. However after we applied this(May~April 2008), It happened only twice in the total of 1,893 CT scan with contrast media which means the incidence of extravasation is only 0.1%. Therefore it was decreased by 80%. We prevented eleven incidences of extravasation before the patient had been given the CT scan with contrast media because of following the guiding principle during that time. Conclusion It is needed to follow the guiding principle especially for high risk patients who is over than 75 aged person, or has got anti-cancer treatment including radiation therapy, or has clinical renal failure or has difficulty of the injection due to regular hemodialysis. Also prompt treatment and well organized system will be needed for unexpected accident. It is considered to make a check list and to follow the guiding principle thoroughly for constant analysis and monitoring. To perform guiding principle nurses, radiological technologists and policlinic should be able to cooperate very well together.
