This paper proposes the high efficiency control method of the Dual-Active-Bridge(DBA) converter through fundamental analysis. The DAB converter can operate with simple Phase-Shift-Modulation(PSM) to achieve high efficiency. However, ZVS range decreases at light load due to low reactive power and, the conduction loss is increases due to the circulation power as load increases. This paper focuses on circulating power and conduction loss and derives active power and reactive power through fundamental analysis. Finally, the proposed controller is controller presented.
