일한,한일 소설 번역의 행위요구 모달리티 분석-의뢰, 권유, 허가, 희망 표현을 중심으로-

行爲要求モダリティとは話し手が行爲の實行を聞き手に求める表現のモダリティである。認識モダリティの場合は日本語のほうが韓國語に比べて婉曲な表現を使う傾向があることが議論されている。本論文では行爲要求モダリティにおける日本語と韓國語の使用の違いを分析することを目的とする。行爲要求モダリティのうち、聞き手に判斷の余地を與えない命令と禁止の表現を除いた依賴·勸め·許可·希望の表現は聞き手の受け止める印象に差がある。本硏究では非飜驛小說と飜驛小說に表れる行爲要求モダリティの出現の頻度を調べた結果、日本語の非飜驛小說のほうが韓日飜驛小說に比べ間接的な表現が使われる割合が高く、日韓飜驛小說でも日本語の間接的行爲要求表現が韓國語の飜驛で直接的表現として表れる傾向にあることが分かった。日本語は韓國語に比べ依賴疑問型や希望のモダリティが多く使われているため、韓日飜驛の際には韓國語式の直接的行爲要求よりは「~てくれる?·~てもらえる」などの疑問型の依賴表現や「てほしい·てもらいたい」などの希望のモダリティで飜驛する割合を高めることでさらに日本語のテキストに近い自然な日本語の文章が可能になると思われる。 Requesting, suggesting, wishing and conceding are some of the most typicalforms of expression that relate to deontic modality. With the exception ofcommanding or prohibiting expressions, where the listener is not allowed any choice,these forms of expression vary in their degree of forcibleness and freedom of choiceupon the listener. Regarding epistemic modality, it has been argued that the Japaneselanguage tends to have a higher inclination towards the use of euphemistic phrasesor expressions than the Korean language. And that being said regarding epistemicmodality, this study aimed to observe the difference between Korean and Japanesein terms of deontic modality through a comparative analysis between translatednovels and untranslated, original novels. Results showed that original, untranslatedJapanese novels had a higher usage rate of roundabout phrases and expressionscompared to Korean novels that were translated into Japanese. It was also observedthat roundabout deontic expressions in Japanese novels were converted into directdeontic expressions when translated into Korean. Interrogative request and wishingexpressions are frequently used in the Japanese language.

동시통역 수업의 보조도구로서의 애플리케이션 설계 -과제 제출 및 피드백 기능을 중심으로-

본 논문에서는 동시통역 수업에 특화된 수업 보조도구용 모바일 애플리케이션 구성을 시도했다. 설문조사 결과, 대부분의 교수자는 학습자들에게 통역을 녹음하여 제출하도록 하고 있었고, 학습자들은 일련의 과제물 작업을 모두 스마트폰을 활용하여 처리하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학습자들은 모바일과 LMS를 모두 사용해야 하는 번거로움을 감내해야 하고, 교수자도 이중 작업을 해야 하는 게 현실이다. 이에 과제물의 등록과 제출, 확인, 피드백, 전송 등 모든 것이 모바일용 애플리케이션을 통해 구현되는 시스템을 만들어 학습자와 교수자의 환경적 제약을 없애는 수업 보조도구가 필요하다. 동시통역 수업 보조도구에 필요한 핵심기능으로는 여러 가지를 고려할 수 있다. 우선 음성인식기능이다. 교수자나 학습자는 통역 내용을 확인하기 위해 일반적으로 전사를 하는데 여기에는 상당한 물리적인 시간과 수고가 필요하다. 따라서 음성인식 텍스트화 기능이 있으면 매유 유효할 것이다. 현재 나와 있는 음성인식 기능은 통역과정에서 나타나는 침묵이나 간투사 등을 인식하지 못해 피드백에는 적합하지 않다. 또, 원문을 듣고 얼마나 지나서 통역을 시작했는지 즉, 청성시차를 파악하기가 어렵다. 따라서 단순한 음성인식 기능이 아닌, 침묵과 간투사, 특정 음절지속 등의 통역지연구간을 표시해주는 기능이 필요하다. 뿐만 아니라, 과제를 수행할 때 기기조작이 수월해야하기 때문에 원문음성파일의 재생과 동시에 녹음이 되는 기능도 필요하다. 이러한 기능을 통해 교육 효과를 더욱 높이기 위해서는 교수자용, 학습자용, 자습용으로 분리하여 개발할 필요가 있다. 당연히 이 모든 기능은 중앙 서버를 통해 유기적으로 연결된다. This study endeavors to structure a design for mobile applications that could serve as an assistive tool in simultaneous interpretation courses, based on the need for specialized mobile tools that would aid in the process of training and education. Several things could be considered when it comes to setting down the key functions of a tool to assist in simultaneous interpretation. First, it would need to have a voice recognition function as teachers and students need to take dictation of interpretations, which requires considerable time and effort. It is also difficult to assess Ear-to-Voice Span. For this reason, voice recognition would also need a function that can detect, mark and process interjections, silent intervals, prolongated syllable pronunciations and interpretation delays among others. The operation of the app has to be easy and simple for conducting tasks and the app must also include 'record' and 'replay' functions. In order to maximize its effect as an education assistive tool, the app should be developed separately to meet the needs of teachers and students accordingly and its functions must be systematically linked to a central server.

일한 번역의 문맥지시어 고찰-지시어 `こ` `そ`의 학생 번역 분석을 통하여-

When examining the Japanese deixes `ko` and `so` as based on the context determined by the preceding sentence, we can relate them to similar Korean deixes `i` and `gue`. The dictionary definition indicates that `ko` corresponds with `i`, and `so` corresponds with `gue`. However, when translating, `ko` is not necessarily always translated as `i`, and `so` is not always translated to `gue`. Early research that investigates the translation of deixes has yet to clarify the reason why `ko` is occasionally translated as `gue` and `so` is translated as `i`. It is generally seen as a stylistic choice left to the translator`s discretion. Though it could indeed be said that the selection of which word to use is an arbitrary choice made by the translator, there is also the possibility that the translator is unconsciously choosing the deixis that is more natural. Furthermore, if several different people translate one original sentence and, as a result, many choose the same deixis, there must certainly be a basis for that choice. The reason should be fully explained in their translation classes. As such, in this paper, I checked the portal site`s search engine to examine the number of occurrences for translation results of deixis that appeared in the translation class. The data is drawn from specific articles or columns.I hope that this research can be useful for future translation classes.
