The performance of bubble pump was discussed in this paper. First, this article gave a brief introduction of solar water heating system and bubble pump. It explained the research background. In the second chapter, the theoretic foundation of bubble pump, which refer to two-phase flow and heat transfer in boiling was given. Based on this, commend a structure of bubble pump. In the third chapter, by the numerical simulation to design the optimize dimension of bubble pump. In the forth chapter, involves the testing of bubble pump solar water heating system. Four sub-chapters included short-term results and analysis, long-term result and analysis. At the meantime, because of thε quarter application difference, the comparative analysis of winter and summer running condition was given. Final1y, give the comparative analysis with the reference. The last chapter is the conclusion part of this thesis.

Recently, this patent application of solar energy especially on solar photovoitaic and solar heat is getting expanded. The patent review about solar photovoitaic and solar heat was analyzed in Korea, U.S.A, Japanese and Europe. By this research the government which supervises the nation's research policy can obtain the objective information of the industrial tendency, so it can establish the investment policy of national research and development. And the researchers can set up the research direction for evasion from patent infringement trouble by obtaining the patent application information.
태양열 온수 시스템에서 기포펌프와 전기펌프의 성능평가 및 비교분석

This study performance evaluation and comparative analysis on the bubble pump and electric pump was conducted. The experimental apparatus were bubble pump, electric pump, solar collector and heat exchanger. In the electric pump set up to the solar heating system yields 5270 ㎉ of heat in the storage tank whereas bubble pump setting yields only 2080 ㎉. Bubble pump yields 39.50% energy that of electric pump from solar heating technique. The flow rate for electric pump set up experiment varies from 0.5 to 3.5 ℓ/min with mean 1.5 ℓ/min. But, in case of bubble pump it is recorded as 0.5 ℓ/min on average with 0 to 0.30 ℓ/min variation. The storage tank temperature raises up to 15℃ and 5℃ for electric and bubble pump, respectively.

One of alternatives energy which is important is solar energy. But solar energy is difficult to be used because of its low density. Solar energy technologies involve collecting energy, saving energy, and the system. Recently, energy-collecting technology is being developed. Flat type collector; Glass Evacuated Tube Solar Collector and PTC type; CPC type collector and Dish type are used for low temperature, medium temperature and high temperature respectively. Many type of system models were designed so that it could be used in a building. This paper explains about The Glass Evacuated-Tube Solar Collector as well as its application on active solar system with bubble pump.

In this paper, study on performance analysis of bubble pump on the domestic solar water heater system is presented. Device of this experiment is consisted of bubble pump, solar collector and heat exchanger. At the mean time, this system have attached temperature sensors and pressure sensors at bubble pump. In addition, the flow meter was installed at outlet of heat exchanger. And then result of experimental study, average value of the heat exchange amount in heat exchanger was about 7.9㎉/hr, the maximum value of the heat amount in water tank(0.4㎥) was 489.7㎉/hr and the maximum value of the mass flow rate in bubble pump was about 0.5 ℓ/min.

This study represents the performance evaluation and comparative analysis on the bubble pump in winter and summer. The experimental apparatus are consisted of bubble pump, solar collector and heat exchanger. In addition, the flow meter was installed at outlet of heat exchanger to obtain the temperature change. The complete system was instrumented to measure the pressure, flow-rates and temperature at several locations in winter and summer. As the results of experimental study, the average value of heat amount in heat exchanger was about max 10.64㎉/hr in clear day of winter and about max 6.88㎉/hr in clear day of summer. The maximum value of heat amount in water tank(0.4㎥) was about max 489.7㎉/hr in clear day of winter and about max 373.3㎉/hr in clear day of summer. The maximum value of mass flow rate in bubble pump was about max 0.5 ℓ/min in clear day of winter and about max 0.4 ℓ/min in clear day of summer.

In this paper, presented pressure drop characteristics in a channel of plate heat exchanger by experimental method. Plate Heat Exchanger(PHE) have become popular in chemical, power, food and refrigeration industries due to the efficient heat transfer performances, extremely compact design and flexibility of extend or modify to suit changed duty. In the experiment, test section constructed by two corrugated plates with 60 degree of chevron angle. Consequently, experiments carried out the pressure profile along 15 measure points according to mass flow rate. This results provided to investigate flow characteristics of PHE channel flow that highly turbulent even with low Reynolds number. Moreover, numerical simulation was compared with experimental results and present flow behavior in the test section.
