Nanosize tungsten powder was synthesized by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method through a solution containing ammonium metatungstate hydrate [(NH₄)?W₁₂O₃?ㆍH₂O] and reduction treatment. It was expected the improvement of mechanical properties due to increasing surface free energy and surface activity. Starting solutions with each concentration, reaction temperature and reduction treatment were significantly influenced on the formation of tungsten size and phase. It was found that particle size was decreased with concentration of starting solution and surface tension were decreased. The particle size was increased at thermal decomposition temperature above 600℃ by neck growth of interparticles. Tungsten particles were formed by reduction reaction in atmosphere of hydrogen gas at the temperature above 700℃.

To evaluate the physical education (PE) class in the middle school(MS) and high school(HS). the survey was carried on by using questionnaires from march 1 of 1997 through December 31 of the year. The subjects of the study were 307 PE teachers in Kangwon Province: middle school. 177(57.7%). and high school. 130(42.3%) The finding's can be summerajed as follow: 1)The number of PE class activities was greater in MS. This could be due to the difference in units. 2)Most teachers sought to put the objective of the PE class evaluation to achieve the teaching goal (81.85%) and to reflect for the school grade (10.56%) This showed the similarity to previous year's result and suggested an incapability of implication for a better teaching methodology 3)MS had a more variety of items for the evaluation. This is a statistically substantial fact and a result of unifomity in the number of suitable items. in teaching items per semester. and in actually evaluating items. 4)The evaluation covered conformably in psychomotor. cognitive. and affective factors (86.97%) Nevertheless MS put considerably more emphasis on psychomotor factor than that of HS 5)For the response to formative evaluation. MS put considerably more observant attention. 6)Both MS and HS made a positive statement about the discontinuance on entrance PE examination. However. MS marked with a more ideal and innovative response and seemed to manifest their position for standardization of PE pedagogy. Also there were many of those who stated for uncertainty. which raises a concern 7)To use evaluated result. more responses were set forth, in both MS and HS. for grade report. school activity report. or other composite application. However it doesn't achieve the goal of the evaluation that should have a role as achievment measurement . teaching-learning and goal and plan of instruction, while providing pedagogical feedback.
