        해남 옥매산-성산광상 acid-sulfate 변질대에서 금 함량에 관한 연구

        Gold contents with major and trace elements have been determined in 67 fresh igneous and altered wall rocks in the acid-sulfate alteration zone of the Ogmaesan-Seongsan pyrophyllite deposits in the Haenam area of the south-western part of Korean peninsula. The results are as follows; (1) Li contents have a tendency to show high value in dickite and altered rocks with dickite, while As, Mo and Sb contents have tendencies to show high values in alunite vein and silicified zone. F contents are higher in the altered rocks compared to fresh rocks. (2) Gold contents are enriched in alunite vein and silicified zone of the Seongsan deposit, but depleted in dickite and altered rock with dickite. Gold contents are especially concentrated in fault or conjunction area of two faults. (3) Gold contents are higher values in the mineral assemblages of alunite-quartz-pyrite and alteration zone of the Seongsan deposit among the studied deposits. (4) Gold contents in samples of silicified zones tend to show positive correlations with Ag, As, Co, Hg, Sb and V content, but negative correlations with Y and Zr contents, while on the other gold contents of silicified tuffs tend to show positive correlations with Hg and Sb contents. Therefore it is important to survey alunite vein and silicified zone at the conjunction of faults, and to analyze pathfinder elements such as Ag, As, Hg and Sb for geological and geochemical exploration of gold in the studied deposits.

        Minor elements such as Ag, As, Au, Bi, Cd, Cu, Co, Ni, Pb, Rb, Sb, Sr and Te were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry and induced coupled plasma spectrophotometry in order to investigate pathfinders for gold in quartz porphyry, granite porphyry and vein materials in Jeonjuil gold - silver mine, and in altered biotite granites and vein materials in Dukum gold - silver mine. In Dukum gold - silver mine, it is observed that Au contents have positive relation with As, Co, and Rb contents, but negative relation with Bi contents in altered biotite granites. Au contents have positive relation with Ag, As, Co and Te contents in vein materials. In Jeonjuil gold - silver mine, it is observed that Cd, Rb, Sr and Te are enriched near ore vein in quartz porphyry and granite porphyry. Au contents have positive relation with As, Cd, Cu, Fe₂O₃ and K₂O in vein materials.

        국내에 분포하는 화산암류중 금의 분포특징에 관한 연구

        One hundred of thirty volcanic rocks col1ected from the Jeju island, Jeongog, Guryongpo and other areas were analyzed for major elements and trace elements with Au by inductively coupled argon plasma and graphite furnace atomic absorptiom spectrometry. The Au content is the highest values (0.2~43.4 ppb, average; 10.34 ppb) from the Jeju island volcanic rocks and the lowest (0.5~11.0 ppb, average; 1.23 ppb) from the Guryongpo volcanic area. The content of Au tends to be higher in the Quarternary volcanic rocks than Tertiary or Cretaceous volcanic rocks. The Au content of the calc alkali volcanic rocks tends to increase from mafic to felsic volcanic rocks, but that of the alkalic volcanic rocks tends to increase from felsic to mafic volcanic rocks. The Au content of the volcanic rocks collected from the Jeju island shows the highest values in the feldspar olivine basalts. Elements or oxides which have positive or negative correlations with Au are Ag, Mo, Rb, V, Y, $K_2O$, MgO and $SiO_2$, but other elements analyzed are not shown correlations with Au. It has a tendency to show that samples from the Jeju with 5 ppb gold and more are plotted in the non-Dupal area and those with less than 5 ppb gold in the Dupal area, while those from the Jeongog with 5 ppb gold and more are plotted in the Dupal area and those with less than 5 ppb gold in the non-Dupal area, in the Ba/Nb-La/Nb, Zr/Nb-Ba/Nb diagrams. It shows that samples from the Jeju and Guryongpo with high gold content are plotted in the within-plate, while those with low gold content are plotted in the arc-related area, and those from the Jeongog are scattered in the $TiO_2-Al_2O_3$, $Zr/A1_2O_3-TiO_2/Al_2O_3$ diagrams.

        콘크리트 혼합재의 석회반응성에 관하여

        This paper addresses the hydrothermal reactivity of blast furnace slag and fly ash with lime, respectively. The test conditions were CaO-to-$SiO_2$ ratio (C/S), autoclaving temperature ($140{\circ}C$ and $180{\circ}C$) and time (20 to 60h). The study was carried out in terms of the hydrothermal reactivity between $SiO_2$ contained in each hydraulic material and (pure) lime and the compressive strength of autoclaved specimens. Porosity measurement and the XRD analysis were also made in order to ascertain the hydraulicity of the siliceous materials. Compressive strength of the specimens was interpreted in terms of porosity and the reactivity of CaO and $SiO_2$. And the XRD analysis showed the C/S change of the hydrates in the course of autoclaving process. $SiO_2$ in the blast furnace slag was more reactive with CaO than that in the fly ash and consequently the blast furnace slag specimens resulted in much higher compressive strength. A maximum compressive strength of $807kg/cm^2$ was obtained for the blast furnace slag at the autoclaving condition of $180{\circ}C$ and 40 h, while only $397kg/cm^2$ was maximally to achieve with fly ash. 고로슬래그와 플라이 애쉬의 석회 반응성을 수열조건 하에서 각각 고찰하였다. 수열반응 조건은 CaO-$SiO_2$ 비(C/S), 수열온도($140{\circ}C$와 $180{\circ}C$)및 반응시간(20~60시간)이었다. 수열반응성은 각 수경성 재료에 함유된 $SiO_2$와 (순수)석회 사이의 반응률 및 반응 시편의 압축강도를 측정하여 조사하였다. 그리고 본 반응성 고찰을 위하여 기공률 측정 및 XRD 분석도 수행하였다. 압축강도 물성은 시편의 기공률 및 CaO-$SiO_2$ 반응성과 연계하여 고찰하였으며, XRD 분석으로 수열반응 중 C/S가 변화함을 확인할 수 있었다. 고로슬래그 중의 $SiO_2$는 플라이 애쉬에 함유된 $SiO_2$ 보다 석회반응성이 우수하여 전자의 경우 시편은 훨씬 높은 강도를 나타내었다. 수열반응 온도 $180{\circ}C$ 및 40시간의 조건에서 고로슬래그는 최고 강도 $807kg/cm^2$을 나타냈으며, 플라이 애쉬의 경우 최고 강도는 $397kg/cm^2$ 이었다.

        월출산지역에 분포하는 중생대 화강암류에 대한 암석화학적 연구

        The studied area is composed of Precambrian gneiss complex, middle Jurassic biotite granite, late Cretaceour sediments, volcanics and pink feldspar granite. Characteristic minerals of the biotite granite is plagioclase and hornblende whereas the pink feldspar granite is pink feldspar (perthite) and quartz. Plagioclase compositions of the biotite granite and the pink feldspar granite are oligoclase to calcic andesine ($An_{18-44}$) and sodic albite ($An_{0.5-5.0}$), respectively. In the variation diagrams of the Harker and normative Q-Or-Pl diagram, the biotite granite belongs to the category from granodiorite to granite, the pink feldspar granite from nomal to late granite. The values of D.I. L.I. and alkalinity of the pink feldspar granite are higher than those of the biotite granite. While CaO is enriched in the biotite granite, $K_2O$ is enriched in the pink feldspar granite. The ratio of $K_2O/Na_2O$ which indicates the relative ratio of alkali is 1.06 in the pink feldspar granite, and 0.86 in the biotite granite. In A-M-F and N-C-K diagrams both these granites are plotted in peraluminus granite ($Al_2O_3$>$Na_2O+K_2O+CaO$) region, assigned to calc alkaline series and alkaline series respectively. Put into the form of A-C-F diagram, the biotite granite falls under I-type, and the pink feldspar granite S-type. On the base of whole rock ratios of $Fe^{+3}/Fe^{+2}+Fe^{+3}$ and $^{87}Sr/^{86}Sr$ for the granites in studied area, the biotite granite indicates ilmenite series (0.26) and S-type and/or contaminated I-type ($0.72020{\pm}0.00050$), the pink feldspar granite magnetite series (0.44) and I-type ($0.70826{\pm}0.00020$).
