해외 조림투자 환경과 수익성 분석에 관한 연구 - 태국을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 해외조림을 통한 목재의 안정적 확보를 기하기 위하여 태국을 대상으로 투자환경과 수익성 분석을 하였다. 연구결과 태국은 정책적으로 산림률을 현재 25%에서 40%로 유지하려고 노력하고 있기 때문에 조림을 널리 장려하고 있으며, 조림과 목가공산업(합판, 베니어, Chip board, Hard board)은 최소한의 투자요건을 요구하는 업종으로 구분하고 있어 다른 분야보다 상대적으로 유리한 입장이다. 태국에서 현재 가장 역점을 두고 있는 조림수종은 유칼리로서 특히 펄프용으로 이용할 경우 유칼리의 벌기령은 4~5년으로서 매우 짧고 IRR도 29.1~59.3%로 매우 높게 나타났다. The study was carried out to investigate the surroundings and benefit analysis on the planting investment of Thailand for securing a stable supply of timber through overseas planting, The results show that Thailand government is planing to increase the coverage of forest from 25% to 40%, encouraging planting over the country. More advantages and incentives are given in the investments in planting and wood-processing industries such as plywood, veneer, and chip & hard board, etc. In Thailand Eucalyptus species which are most popular in planting as they are lucratively used as a material of pulp. The Internal rate of return (IRR) in the study was ranged from 29.1 % to 59.3.
속보 : 위성사진과 지리정보체계(GIS)에 의한 브라질 서부농장지역의 토지이용구분과 인공조림계획에 관한 연구 -Mato Grosso do Sul 주의 장가다 및 쟈마이카 농장

본 연구에서는 브라질 서부의 Mato Grosso do Sul 주에 위치하는 장가다. 쟈마이카 두 개의 농장에 유칼리나무 인공조림블록단지를 위한 식재계획을 세워 보았다. 우선 위성사진을 분석하고 GIS에 의해서 현상태대로의 토지이용구분 빛 산림식생구분을 하였고 이것을 기초로 하여 조림가능지역을 계산하였다. 그리고 농장주인의 요구에 따라 조림가능지역에 대한 식재계획을 3차년도까지 수립하였다. 두 개의 농장 총면적은 5,301ha이며 조림가능면적은 3,913ha로서 전체면적의 74%에 해당하는 것으로 추정되었다. 그리고 나머지 26%에 해당하는 1,388ha의 면적은 산림법상 영구보존시켜야 할 산림식생 면적으로 추정되었다. 토양손실을 최소화하기 위해서 등고선에 따라 구획한 조림블록은 1년차에 27개 블록으로 총 1,308.8ha에 이르고, 2년차에도 27개 블록에 l,327.4ha, 그리모 3년차에는 30개 블록에 1,276.5ha의 면적으로 구획되었다. In this study tree plantation planning for the plantation blocks of Eucalyptus species was constructed in order to apply to the two farms Jamaica and Jamaica, where are located in the western district of the state Mato Grosso do Sul in Brazil. At first the satellite photo was analyzed for the land use classification and the forest ecosystem was classified with GIS technique, and then on the basis of this result the planting available area was accounted for the two farms. According to the request of the land owner the planting planning was established for the planting available area for 3 years. The total area for the two farms is 5,301ha, and the planting available area is estimated to be 3,913ha(74%). The rest area is 1,388ha(26%), and should be classified to the permanent legal reserve forest area. In order to minimize the soil loss and the erosion, the planting blocks were divided according to the parallel to the contour line: for the first planning year the plantation area was divided to the 27 blocks and the total area was 1,308.8ha, for the second planning year the area also divided to 27 blocks(1,327.4ha) and for the third planning year 30 blocks divided(1276.5).
목표림모델에 의한 최적윤벌기 (最適輪伐期) 결정에 관한 연구 - 잣나무 임분을 (林分) 중심으로 -

Rotation period is one of the most important derived management goals in steering the production in even aged stands. This paper describes specially the determination of the optimal rotation period using the normal forest model, which is usually derived from optimization studies. In order to draw more near the real forest situation the target forest model was introduced. The target forest model by including production risks is more realistic in forest production than the normal forest model . The optimal rotation period was determined using the target forest model. And the optimal rotation period derived with the normal forest model and the target forest model were compared each other. These model calculations were carried out with data, which was investigated in korean pine stands in experiment forest of College of Forestry in Kangweon National University.
퍼지 다목표 선형계획법에 의한 산림자원의 다목적 경영계획

This paper described the application of fuzzy multiobjective linear programming to solving a multiple-use problem of forest resources management. At first the concepts of linear programming, fuzzy linear programming and fuzzy multiobjective linear programming were introduced briefly. In order to illustrate a role of fuzzy multiobjective linear programming in the process of multiple-use forest planning, the natural recreation forest in Mt. Yoomyung was selected for this study. A fuzzy multiobjective linear programming model is formulated with data obtained from this Mt. Yoomyumg natural recreation forest to solve the multiple-use management planning problem of forest resources. Finally, the results, which were obtained from the calculation of this model, were discussed. The maximal value of the membership function(λ) was 0.29, when the timber production and the forest recreation function were optimized at the same time through the fuzzy multiobjective linear programming. The cutting area in each period was 102.7㏊, while total cutting area was 410.8㏊ for 4 periods. During 4 periods 57,904㎥ will be harvested from this natural recreation forest and at the same time total visitors were estimated to be about 8.6 millions persons.
삼림경영계획을 위한 새로운 접근법 : 퍼지 다목표선형계획법

This paper descbibes a fuzzy multiobjective linear programming, which is a relatively new approach in forestry in solving forest management problems. At first, the fuzzy set theory is explained briefly and the fuzzy linear programming(FLP) and the fuzzy multiobjective linear programming(FMLP) are introduced conceptionally. With the information obtained from the study area in Thailand, a standard linear programming problem is formulated, and optimal solutions (present net worth) are calculated for four groups of timber price by this LP model, respectively. This LP model is reformulated to a fuzzy multiobjective linear programming model to accommodate uncertain timber values and with this FMLP model a compromise solution is attained. Optimal solutions of four objective functions for four timber price groups and the compromise solution are compared and discussed.

This paper discusses the applicability of two simulation models for a ten year planning period in order to predict changing forest conditions, Two simulation models therefore were developed and applied to 3,844 ㏊ of a national forest in Kangwondo province, which is managed by Joongbu Forest District Headquaters. Growth functions of three species were derived and used to predict the residual timber volume over time. Two alternative cutting schedules caused 10-14% difference in the residual timber volume in the end of ten year planning period. This suggests the important of correct decision-makings of forest managers in forest management planning.
