        오희용,윤방부 최신의학사 1974 最新醫學 Vol.17 No.4

Although the parasite control program has done for several years in school, till now. there was no well planned and' epidemiological data based program. So, to get the epidemiological data on parasite in school and with these to make the well organ ized and planned program for parasite control, this study was done for one year from March, 1973. The data that we got were as follows; 1) Total number of sample was 8.132 and among these number, the number of primary school, middle school and highschool students were 4,012, 2,748 and 1,372 respectively. 2) The experience rate for parasite examination in the each level of school were 85% in primary school, 87% in middle school and 86% in high school. 3) The status of medication of antiparasite drug showed that more than 60% of total students was taken drug one or more times in a year. But, the regular taker with 3 month interval was less than 5%. 4) Through the all level of school, most of the students purchased antiparasite drug in school. 5) The infectious rate 'of Ascaris lumbricoides showed that 46% in primary school, 29% in middle school and 38% in high school. 6) The infectious rate of Trichocephalus trichiurus for each level of school(primary, middle, high school) was 38.0%, 39.0%, and 32.0% respectively. 7) The comparision of average body weight between parasite imfected group and not infected group showed no diffirence. 8) Through the all level of school, the level of hemoglobin between parasite infected group and not infected group was not different.

In school health program, tuberculosis control program is the most important in Korea, But, till now there was no well organized and planned tuberculosis control program in school, especially there was no epidemiological data based program. So, to get the base-line data on tuberculosis in the each level of school and apply and use these data as a source of tuberculosis control program planning, this epidemiological study was done from March, 1973. The results were as follows; 1) Total size of sample was 8,132. 2) The experience rate of tuberculin test showed that 59.6% in primary school, 69.6% in middle school and 78.5% in high school. 3) The positive rate of tuberculin test in the each level of school showed that in primary school the rate for female and male was 19.8% and 16.0% respectively, in middle school 21.0% and 31.2% respectively and in high school 37.1% and 21. 0% respectively. 4) Mostly (87^'98%) the place for P. P. D. test taken was the school. 5) The vaccination rate of B. C. G in the each level of school were as follows; i) In primary school, the rate for female and male was 46.8% and 53. 1% respectively. ii) In middle school, the rate for female was 45. 0% and in high school the rate for male was 45.9%. 6) The age of B. C. G. vaccination taken was varied. Especially the range of the rate of B. C. G. taken before zero year old was 0. 1 to 5. 2%. 7) Mostly the place of B. C *G. taken was school. 8) The experience rate of chest X-ray examination for male in the each level of school was 41. 9%, 59.8% and 81.6% respectively. 9) The prevalence rate of tuberculosis in the all level of school was 0. 15%. In primary school, the prevalence rate for male and female was 0.3% and 0. 2% respectively. 10) The positive rate of P. P. D. test in tuberculosis and suspicious cases diagnosed by indirect chest X-ray examination was higer than that of normal cases. 11) The correlation between the average body weight and the size of tuberculin test was not significant. 12) The correlation between the level of hemoglobin and the size of tuberculin test was t significant.

        吳熙鏞,崔平和 고려대학교 의과대학 1981 고려대 의대 잡지 Vol.18 No.1

Electrocardiographic studies on 5,048 cases of apparently healthy Korean school children (male 2,526, female 2,522) were performed by classification method of Minnesota Code and following results were obtained; 1. Normal electrocardiogram was seen in 67.4% of total cases, 62.7% of male and 72.1% of female. 2. Abnormal Q-wave was seen in 0.23% of total cases (0.4% of male and 0.27% of female) and incidence of abnormal Q-wave was increased with increasing ages. 3. Left axis deviation was seen in 0.57% of total cases, 0.83% of male and 0.31% of female. Right axis deviation was seen in 0.51% of total cases(0.75% of male and 0.27% of female) and incidence of right axis deviation was decreased with increasing ages. 4. Left ventricular hypertrophy was seen in 18.3% of total cases(24.6% of male and 11.9% of female) and incidence of left ventricular hypertrophy was increased with increasing ages until 12-17 years group. Right ventricular hypertrophy was seen in 0.23% of total cases (0.4% of male and 0.07% of female) and incidence of right ventricular hypertrophy was decreased with increasing ages. 5. ST-segment depression was seen in 0.41% of total cases, 0.23% of male and 0.59% of female. 6. T-wave inversion was seen in 14.0% of total cases(11.4% of male and 16.7% of female) and incidence of T-wave inversion was decreased with increasing ages. 7. First degree atrioventricular block was seen in 0.17% of total cases, 0.19% of male and 0.15% of female. Woeff-Parkinson-White syndrome was seen in 0.05% of total cases, 0.07% of male and 0.03% of female. 8. Complete right bundle branch block was seen in 0.26% of total cases, 0.23% of male and 0.28% of female. Incomplete right bundle branch block was seen in 0.57% of total cases and 0.79% of male and 0.36% of female. The incidence of intraventricular conduction defect was 0.06%. 9. The incidence of ventricular premature beat was 0.32% of total cases, supraventricular premature beat 0.06%, supraventricular tachycardia 0.02%, atrioventricular nodal rhythm 0.02%, sinus tachycardia 10.0%, sinus bradycardia 0.20% and sinus arrhythmia 8.3%. 10. The incidence of low voltage was 0.44% of total cases, peaked T-wave 1.4%, notched T-wave 25.4%, notching or RR prime of QRS complex 4.2% and abnormal P-wave 0.08%.

      • 초, 중, 고 학생의 정상혈액상에 대한 연구

        오희용,김평남,김기순 최신의학사 1977 最新醫學 Vol.20 No.6

To find normal range and the variation by sex and age of Korean School Children's hemoglobin, hematocrit value, RBC count, and wintrobe index. Those of 4,004 Seoul city primary, middle and high school children were studied from Jan. 4th, 1975 to Dec. 31st 1975, at Seoul school health center. The results of this study is as follows; 1. The normal range of male student's hemoglobin was 10.1-16.1gm/100m1 (95.4%) and that of female student was 9.6-15.2gm/100ml (97.3%) . 2. The normal range of hematocrit values were 32.0-48.4% (95.5%) for male student and 31.8-45.4% (94.2%) for female student. 3. The normal values of RBC were 3.22 million-5.50 million (97.3%) for male student and 3.55. million-4.81 million (97.2%) for female student. The RBC count were average 500,000 higher in male students, than female students. 4. No significant difference between male and female student was found in all values of age between 6-13, but the average value of male student hemoglobin,, hematocrit and RBC count from age 14-19 were increased significantly with the advance of age. 5. No significant variation by age were found for average values of Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH), throughout age 6-19. The average MCH value were 24.2-34.2z??g, for male and 24.4-34.0 ??g, for female student. 6. No significant variation by sex were found for average values of Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV). The- average value of MCV, were throughout age 6-19, 88.9-93.3?3, for male student and 89.4-93.4?3, for female student. The MCV value were slightly higher than western study value. 7. No significant variation by sex were found for average values of Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC). The average value of MCHC were 30.1-34.9% for male student and 29.7-34.9% for female student.
