본 연구의 목적은 현재 각 대학에서 운영되고 있는 교수학습센터의 프로그램과 국외의 사례들과 비교하여 우리나라 교수학습센터의 위상에 대한 재고 및 발전을 위한 몇 가지 시사점을 제시하는데 있다.이를 위해 국내 52개 대학과 국외 28개 대학(미국,캐나다,호주)의 홈페이지에 게시된 지원 프로그램을 조사하였고,국내 5개 대학의 교수학습센터에 대한 방문 조사를 실시하였다.본 연구의 분석결과에 의하면,국내 교수학습센터에서 지원하는 프로그램은 교수,학습,이러닝, 교수매체 영역으로 구분되었고,국외는 교수,학습,측정평가 영역으로 구분되었다.프로그램 운영의 가장 큰 범주적 차이점으로는 국내의 경우 정보통신 기술을 활용한 프로그램이 활성화 된 반면,국외의 경우 강의,교수자,프로그램 평가 등 측정 및 평가 부분을 중요한 교수학습 지원 프로그램으로 제공한다는 점이다. 이외에 국내외 프로그램의 공통점으로는 인적 자원의 질적 향상에 도움이 된다고 판단되는 다양한 주제로 교수법(학습법)워크숍 및 세미나를 실시함으로써 교수자와 학습자 지원이 이루어지고 있다는 것과 강의촬영 및 컨설팅 서비스를 통해 교수법 개선 및 향상을 도모하는 공통된 역할을 수행하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. Thisstudyexaminestheimplicationstoimproveteachingand learning center’sprogram from comparison between Korean and foreign country’s case. To analyze program of teaching and learning centers, 52 universities in Korea and 28 universities in foreign countries(USA, Canada,and Australia) were selected and their centers’Websites are reviewed. In addition, 5 teaching and learning centers in Korea were inspected directly. The results were found that main programs of teaching and learning centers in Korea were categorized by ‘teaching’, ‘learning’,‘e-Learning’,and ‘instructionalmedia’fields.Cases offoreign countries,main programs were categorized by ‘teaching’,‘learning’,and ‘measurement and evaluation’fields. The main differences of program between Korean and foreign country, cases of Korean focused on program toactualizeICT,howevercasesofforeign wereconcentrated on program to measure and evaluate professors,students,and courses.In addition,thereispresented thatboth ofKorean and offoreign countries offered program to improve teaching and learning qualities such as ‘workshop for teaching and learning method’ and ‘consulting and picture-takingon lecture’.
