We have observed the orientation behavior of acicular iron oxides in magnetic layer of the particular magnetic tape after magnetic paint was coated on polyester film. As results of the static orientation, orientation of iron oxides come to the maximum at the front and the back of orientation magnets, but it was a litter lower at the back than at the front, and it slowly decreases and come to the constant level after passing through the orientation magnets. In case of edge portion to be futher away from center in the coated film, the orientation of iron oxides in magnetic layer come to worse than that of the center. We think it is owing to the shape and the magnetic magnitude of orientation magnets.<br/> The results of the dynamic orientation are as follows. As the orientation of iron oxides in the particulated magnetic tape is higher, the output properties of tape come to better than ever. And the orientation of iron oxides can be changed by drying condition, as result, the output properties of tape can be also. Therefore we think the considrations of the design of orientation magnets and the control of drying condition are needed to improve output properties of the particulated magnetic tape.

Magnetite powder for kerosene-based ferrofluid was synthesize by air oxidation of waste acid containing Fe^2^+ and Fe^3^+ ions in the ph=11 at 60℃. stable kerosen-based ferrofluid was prepared by addition of polyoxyethylene nonyphencyl ether(POENPE) to the magnetite was examined by means of the fractionof solid dispersed FT-IR spectrum of an addition POENPE to the magnetite was examined by means of the fraction of solid dispersed FT-IR spectrum. And magnetic properties of kerosen-based ferrofluid were examined by method of Vibrating Sample Magnetometer. In order to oil on the water surface by an addition of kerosen-based ferrofluid, the optimum conditions were examined.
반도체 제조공정의 폐수슬러지로 합성된 Hydroxyapatite를 이용한 인산이온의 흡착

The hydroxyapatite(HAp) for the present study was prepared with the wastewater sludge from semiconductor fabrication process and it was crystallized in an electric furnace for 30 min at 900℃. The adsorption characteristics of HAp for phosphate ion in aqueous solution has been investigated. The adsorbed ratio of phosphate ion for HAp were investigated according to the reaction time, amount of HAp, concentration of standard solution, pH of solution, and influence of concemitant ions. The amount of adsorbed phosphate ion decreased with the increase of pH due to the mutual electrostatic repulsion between adsorbed phosphate ions and competitive absorption between phosphate ion and OH- ion in aqueous solution. The maxium amount of the adsorption equilibrium for phosphate ion was about 24 ㎎/g of HAp. The HAp would likely to be a possible absorbent for the removal of phosphate ion in the waste water.

Among the disposal techniques of inorganic wastewater sludges from industries, most of sludges were dealed with buring underground inefficiently. But we have tried to recycle the resources that exhausted inorganic sludges were properly blended to certain ratioes to make lightweight aggregate, that means manufacturing of it can be possible through blending of various components, drying, sintering, cooling and crushing to certain sizes that are needed by consumers. As disposal method of inorganic wastewater sludge is changed to environmentally fraternative method, this method could be very useful to make lightweight aggregates for decoration of building and the other so many purposes of those usages. That could be economically useful due to expected income for buring costs of ordinary disposal method from industries and sales income after manufacturing it. The second important profit is saving foreign currency from purchasing self-developed lightweight aggregate instead of importing expensive foreign product. This product will be also very impressive to user because of the fraternative lightweight to be composed of apatite structure that is important part of human body.
