이상의 「오감도-시제1호」는 시어들의 기호적 특성과 그 출현 방식을 통해 시적 세계를 구조화하는데, 이는 데리다가 『그라마톨로지』에서 말한바 ‘상징의 기호-되기’를 통해 의미를 지속적으로 유예하면서 세계의 운동성을 연속적 과정으로 보여준다. 이때 ‘기호-되기’를 통해 이 시가 지향하고자 하는 세계는 현실과의 ‘상징적 관계’를 거부하는 과정을 통해 유추될 수 있다. 즉 「오감도-시제1호」는 현실 세계를 삭제하거나 배제하기보다는, 현실 세계와의 길항 관계 속에서 ‘기호-되기’의 과정을 수행한다. 이러한 방법론으로 이 시는 ‘무서움’과 ‘다른 사정’들로 상징화된 현실의 상황을 지나 ‘기호-되기’의 본체인 시 자체를 지향한다고 볼 수 있다. 「오감도-시제1호」는 현실 세계와 끝없이 마찰할 수밖에 없는 불안한 내적 상태를 보여주면서, 현실의 의미를 통과한 지점에서 새롭게 구축될 기호의 세계를 추구한다. 그것은 마침내 ‘어떤 현실’의 상징적 폭력 속에 내던져진 ‘육체’라는 기호의 운명적 슬픔일 수 있다. Yi Sang’s 「Ogamdo – Poem No. 1」structuralizes the poetic world through the symbolic characteristics of poetic words and the method of their appearance, which shows the mobility of the world as a continuous process while continuously suspending the meaning through ‘sign-becoming of a symbol’ as Derrida described in 『Grammatology』. At this time, the world this poem aims to pursue through ‘sign-becoming’ can be inferred through the process of rejecting a ‘symbolic relationship’ with reality. In other words, rather than deleting or excluding the real world, 「Ogamdo - Poem No. 1」performs the process of ‘sign-becoming’ in an antagonistic relationship with the real world. With this methodology, it can be seen that this poem aims at the poem itself, the main body of ‘sign-becoming’ beyond the real situation symbolized by "fear" and "other circumstances". While showing an unstable inner state that has no choice but to constantly cause a conflict with the real world, 「Ogamdo - Poem No. 1」pursues a world of signs that will be newly constructed at the point of passing through the meaning of reality. It may be the fateful sorrow of the sign of "body", finally thrown into the symbolic violence of "a certain reality".

The poems written by Baek Seok such as the book of poetry Deer demonstrate customs and regionality by the appearance of a “experiential” narrator. The statement that Baek Seok’s poems dynamically capture the reality of the period through specificity is equal to the observation that the narrator is describing the poetic object through an experiential process. The experiential narrator realistically exposes the poetic object and attaches the expanded facts based on sentiments. In other words, there is a series of process which consists of “objective poetic object-sentiments-expanded facts”. There is a metonymic structure of affect based on the fact that another form of poetic reality is placed before the poetic object. On the contrary, in “Bukbang Poetry” which demonstrates the sentiments of the narrator who is confronting the periodical adversity, a “transcendental” narrator appears. The statement that Back Seok’s poems are superior in embodying the reflective inner world based on historical consciousness indicates that the narrator is transcendentally dominating the poetic object. The transcendental narrator describes the poetic object constructively and transforms the object through sentiments. In other worlds, the poetic object and sentiments are combined by going through the process of “constructive object-sentiments-transformation of the object.” It refers to the metaphorical structure of affect as the poetic object is selected by the narrator’s sentiments. According to the semiologic and psychoanalytic theory, the metaphor and metonymy approach the totality of the poem by demonstrating the mutual infiltration process between the signifier and the signified. Within the characteristics of metaphorical appearance based on the object similarity and metonymic continuance based on proximity, the compatibility between the signifier and the signified is not irrelevant to the flow of affect. The metonymic structure of affect establishes the poetic world by supplementing the lack of poetic object with another reality based on the narrator’s affect, while the metaphoric structure of affect establishes the poetic world through transforming the object internally by embedding the narrator’s sentiments in the poetic object. The “supplementation” realized by the metonymic structure of affect expands the horizon by reestablishing the hidden or distorted reality of the period. The “transformation” realized by the metaphoric structure of affect intensifies the narrator’s sentiments confronting the periodical adversity and also seeks for the driver to overcome the adversity 시집 ≪사슴≫을 중심으로 풍속과 지역성이 전면화되어 나타나는 백석의 시편들에는 대체로 ‘체험적’ 화자가 등장한다. 백석의 시가 구체성을 통해 당대의 현실을 생동감 있게 포착하고 있다고 하는 것은 화자가 시적 대상을 체험적 과정으로 드러내고 있다는 말과 같다. 체험적 화자는 시적 대상을 사실적으로 드러내며, 정념을 통해 확장된 사실을 그 옆에 덧붙인다. 달리 말해 ‘객관적 대상-정념-확장된 사실’이라는 연쇄적 과정을 거치는데 이는 시적 대상 옆에 또 다른 시적 현실을 배치한다는 점에서 정동의 환유적 구조를 띠는 것이다. 반면 시대적 역경에 처한 화자의 정념이 전면화되어 나타나는 ‘북방 시편’들에는 대체로 ‘선험적’ 화자가 등장한다. 백석의 시가 역사의식에 기반한 성찰적 내면을 탁월하게 형상화하고 있다는 말은 화자가 시적 대상을 선험적으로 장악하고있다는 뜻이기도 하다. 선험적 화자는 시적 대상을 구성적으로 드러내며, 정념을통해 그 대상을 변형시킨다. 달리 말해 ‘구성적 대상-정념-대상의 변형’의 과정을거침으로써 대상과 정념의 결합을 도모한다. 이는 화자의 정념에 의해 시적 대상이 선택된다는 데 따른 것으로 정동의 은유적 구조를 띠고 있다고 말할 수 있다. 기호학과 정신분석학 이론에 근거한 은유와 환유를 이론은 기표와 기의의 상호침투 과정을 드러냄으로써 시의 전체성에 접근한다. 대상의 유사성에 의한 은유적 출현과 인접성에 의한 환유적 연속이라는 특성 속에서 기표와 기의가 호환되는방식은 정동의 흐름과도 무관하지 않다. 정동의 환유적 구조가 시적 대상의 결여를 화자의 정념을 통해 다른 현실로 보충하면서 시적 세계를 구축한다면, 정동의은유적 구조는 시적 대상에 직접 화자의 정념을 기입함으로써 그 대상을 내적으로 변형시키는 과정을 통해 시적 세계를 구축한다. 정동의 환유적 구조가 실행하는 ‘보충’은 당대의 현실에 가려지거나 훼손된 현실을 재구축함으로써 그 지평을확장하는 역할을 한다고 할 수 있다. 정동의 은유적 구조가 실행하는 ‘변형’은 시대의 역경에 처한 화자의 정념을 심화시키는 한편, 그 역경을 극복할 수 있는 동력을 모색하는 역할을 한다고 할 수 있다.
