        발레 전공 여대생의 최대산소섭취량과 Branched Chain Amino Acids(BCAAs)들 간의 상관관계

        The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Maximal oxygen uptake, and Branched Chain Amino Acids(BCAAs) in college female ballet dancers. Fourteen college female ballet dancers were participated in this study. Study subjects measured maximal oxygen uptake(VO₂max), and BCAAs(isoleucine, leucine, valine). The VO₂max were assessed during a continuous incremental running treadmill test. Use blood-gathering analysised about isoleucine, leucine, valine of Amino Acid. Analysis of multiple Correlation, Analysis of Simple liner Regression, and Dubin Watson Test were applied for the statistical analysis using SPSS 12.0. This results showed that VO₂max was significantly associated with BCAA(p<.05) in college female ballet dancer. It was found that cardiopulmonary endurance is in reverse propotion to BCAA in college female ballet dancer.

        여성 발레무용수들의 퍼센트 체지방과 BCAA(Branched Chain Amino Acids)들 간의 상관성

        The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between percent body fat and BCAAs(Branched Chain Amino Acid) in female ballet dancers. Fourteen college female ballet dancers(age:18.13±.0.5yrs, BMI:19.2±1.2m²) were participated in this study, and study subjects measured percent body fat, fat mass, weight, body mass index and isoleucine, leucine, valine. were also measured percent body fat, fat mass, weight, body mass index were analyzed using bioelectrical impedance(Biospace Co.). Use blood-gathering analyzed about isoleucine, leucine, valine of Amino Acid. Analysis of multiple Correlation, Analysis of Simple liner Regression, and Dubin Watson Test were applied for the statistical analysis using SPSS 12.0. This results showed that percent body fat was significantly associated with isoleucine(p<.05), leucine(p<.05), and valine(p<.05) in female ballet dancers. it was found that percent body fat is in proportion to BCAA in female ballet dancer. In conclusion, it does appear that several significant research topics in amino acid biochemistry metabolism as well as ballet dancer and nutrition can be explored profitably in the future using experimental designs involving interaction between amino acid status and exercise performance.

        자연과학분야 : 여성 무용전공자들의 영양지식 인지, 식습관, 신체조성 및 건강관련 체력과의 상관관계

        본 연구는 무용전공자 61명을 대상으로 영양지식 인지, 식습관, 신체조성 및 건강관련 체력과의 상관관계를 분석하고 이들 변인들 간의 인과관계를 파악함으로써 규명된 연구결과들을 무용수들의 효율적인 체중관리와 향후의 영양지식의 인지도와 식습관 및 건강관련 체력 향상을 위한 실험적 자료를 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구 대상자는 서울에서 활동하는 무용전공 여대생들을 무선표집(random sampling)하였고 모든 연구 대상자들의 신체적 측정요인으로는 신장, 체중, 체지방률, 신체질량지수(BMI), 기초대사량, 골격근량을 측정하였다(In-Body 520, Biospace Co., Korea). 연구에 사용된 설문지는 Heyward(1997)의 식습관과 Williams(2008)의 영양지식 관련 설문 문항을 기초로 하여 설문지 초안을 작성하였고 건강관련체력요인 측정 종목은 근력, 근지구력, 유연성, 심폐지구력을 측정하였다. 구체적인 통계기법으로는 다중상관분석(analysis of multiple correlation), 단순선형회귀분석(analysis of simple linear regression)을 사용하여, Durbin Watson검증을 통하여 잔차분석을 하였으며, 이때 유의 수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 연구결과는 무용수들의 영양지식 인지도, 식습관과 신체조성 및 건강관련체력의 다중상관관계를 분석한 결과 유의한 차로 나타난 기초대사량, BMI, 식습관을 종속변인으로 골격근량, 기초대사량, BMI을 독립변인으로 한 단순선형 회귀분석에서 각각 0.85, 0.29, 0.76의 설명력(P<.05)을 나타낸 회귀식이 성립됨으로써 여성무용 전공자의 골격근량, 기초대사량, BMI이 유의하게 영향을 미치는 독립변수로 나타났다. 결론적으로 건강관련체력이 식습관과 영양지식 인지도에 미치는 영향은 미비하지만 무용전공자들의 건강관련 체력과 영양지식 수준이 상당히 낮은 수준이고 또한 신체질량지수와 체지방률이 정상임에도 불구하고 섭식장애의 성향을 지니고 있는 무용수들이 다수 있어 건강에 부정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 추정한다. 무용전공자들이 섭식장애까지 이르지는 않았지만 대부분 체중과 체형에 대한 강박관념을 가지고 있어 정확한 영양지식 교육과 올바른 식습관을 수립할 필요가 있다고 사료된다. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the relationship between Eating Habits, Nutrition Knowledge, body composition and health related physical fitness among dance-major female college students. sixty one female university students were recruited in the current study. BMI was calculated with height and weight assessed, health-related physical fitness was assessed, and eating habits(Heyward, 1997) and nutrition knowledge(Williams, 2008) was assessed with questionnaire. Analysis of multiple Correlation, Analysis of Simple liner Regression, and Dubin Watson Test were applied for the statistical analysis using SPSS 17.0 windows. This results showed that skeletal muscle mass was significantly associated with basal metabolic rate(p〈.05), and body mass index was significantly associated with basal metabolic rate(p〈.05), and eating habits was significantly associated with body mass index(p〈.05) in dance-major female college students. In conclusion, though the influence of eating habits and nutrition knowledge affected by health-related physical fitness was not remarkable and body mass index is normal, the level of physical fitness of dance-major female college students was very low and tendency of eating disorder could have bad effects upon dance-major female college students’ health. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a countermeasure that educates them through straight information and Knowledge on desirable weight-control and an attitude for well-balanced diet.

        Pyridoxine섭취가 발레무용수의 혈액성분, Osteocalcin 및 TC/HDL-C ratio에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pyridoxine supplementation with ballet exercise on cell blood components osteocalcin(Os), and total cholesterol/high density lipoprotein cholesterol ration(TC/HDL-C ratio) in female ballet dancers. 14 female ballet dancers were participated in 30days study for a double blind and subjects were randomly assigned to one of the three groups, i.e., Group I (n=4): placebo(2.4mg/day); group Ⅱ (n=5): pyridoxine(1.6mg/day); Group Ⅲ(n=5): pyridoxine(2.4mg/day) with ballet exercise 3-5 times per week. Study subjects measured white blood cells(WBC), red blood cells(RBC), hemoglobin(Hb), osteocalcin(Os), and total cholesterol/high density lipoprotein chloesterol ration(TC/HDL-C ratio), before and after the treatment. Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA), Multiple Range Test(Scheffe), and anaysis of simple regression were used to determine the statistical significance. There were no group differences in the osteocalcin(Os), and total cholesterol/high density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio, and hemoglobin. but WBC and RBC were significantly changed(p〈.05). The result of this study does not lend support to the contention that pyridoxal phosphate intake has much practical impact on ballet exercise performance as a ergogenic acid. However, it does appear that several significant research topics in pyridoxine biochemistry metabolism as well as ballet exercise and nutrition can be explored profitably in the future using experimental designs involving interaction between pyridoxine status and exercise performance.

        무용수들의 Eating Disorder에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 무용수들의 섭식장애를 유발시키는 비정상적인 체중조절 방법과 식사습관 등을 한국 무용수(n=192)들과 미국 무용수(n=190)들을 비교 조사 및 분석하여 무용공연 향상과 건강증진에 악영향을 미치는 섭식장애의 원인 규명과 예방책을 위한 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구에 사용된 설문지는 Burckes-Millier와 Black(1998)가 개발한 "Eating Patterns of Athletes(EPA)"를 변형하여 사용하였으며 Body Image, Coach/Dancer Communications, Reasons for Participation in Dance, Thoughts about Food and Weight 등의 24개 문항으로 구성하였다. 실험결과의 자료의 SPSS 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 Chi-Squared Test를 적용하여 분석하였으며 이때 유의수준은 0. 05로 설정하였다. 섭식장애의 문제는 무용수들 특히 한국 여자 무용수들 사이에서 광범위하게 확산되는 경향이 있으며, 그들 중 상당수가 식사제한, 체중감량 및 섭식장애에 관하여 전문적인 도움이 필요하다고 느끼고 있다. 따라서 섭식장애와 관련된 문제들의 위험성을 모든 무용수들과 지도자들에게 각종 연수회나 세미나 등을 통하여 개선하는 제도적인 대책이 시급한 것으로 사료된다. This study investigated the use of aberrant weight control procedures and eating patterns among 382 dancers(Korean: 192, American: 190). An eating patterns survey(modified Eating Patterns of Athletes) was administered to dancers participating on a variety of team dance with a response rate of 95%. Dancers' perceptions of their weight was almost a mirrored image of their actual weight. Dancers reported that their coaches rarely spoke to them about weight control, in spite of several types of pathogenic weight control methods: Korean(28%) and American(34%) dancers indicated use if at least one pathogenic weight method. The overwhelming reason reported for their dance participation was to have fun(Korean: 71%, American: 54%). Body image and pathogenic weight control methods related to the finding discussed as an exigent problem for the dance community.

        여성 발레무용수의 에너지 소비량이 골단백, 혈액성분 및 신체조성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine effect of ballet exercise capacity on bone lipoprotein, cell blood components, and body composition in female ballet dancers. 14 female ballet dancers were participated in 30days study for a double blind and subjects were randomly assigned to one of the tow groups, Group I (n=7): 15,000kcal(energy consume volume 500kcal/day); Group II (n=7): 15,000-30,000kcal(500-1000kcal/day) with ballet exercise 3-5 times per week. Study subjects measured white blood cell(WBC), red blood cell(RBC), hemoglobin(Hb), hematocrit, osteocalcin, calium, percent body fat(%), and total body water, before and after the treatment. The scheffe’s multiple range test and analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) were used to determine the statistical significance. There were no group differences in the calcium, red blood cell, white blood cell, hematocrit, and total body water. but osteocalcin, hemoglobin and percent body fat(%) was significantly changed(p〈.05). In conclusion, it appears that exercise volume for 30days turn into osteocalcin, hemoglobin and percent body fat(%) in female ballet dancers. Therefore, an increased exercise capacity is inversely associated with reduced risk of developing osteopenia and body composition in female ballet dancers.

It was found that aerobic exercise capacity is in reverse propotion to Percent body fat, and TC/HDL-C ratio in college female ballet dancer.

        발레수행시 Pyridoxine섭취가 골단백 및 아미노산 대사에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 발레수행시 Pyridoxine의 적정 섭취량과 섭취 기간의 타당성을 골단백 및 아미노산 대사와 연관하여 분석함으로서 발레무용수들에게 추가적인 Pyridoxine섭취의 효용성에 관한 실험적 자료를 제시 하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 대상자들은 14명의 발레전공 여대생으로 실험기간 30일 동안 전원에게 흡연, 음주, 각종 영양제 및 약물 복용을 금지시켰으며 발레 활동은 일주일에 3회-5회 실시하였다. GroupI은 Placebo 2.4㎎, GroupII는 Pyridoxine 1.6㎎, GroupIII는 Pyridoxine 2.4㎎을 섭취하도록 하였으며, Double Blind 방법에 의해 실험이 진행되었다. 본 연구의 분석항목은 Osteocalcin(OS), Calcium(CA), Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Phenylaianine, Methionire, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine 등을 분석하였다. 자료 분석방법에 있어서 Analysis of Covariance(ANCOVA)를 적용하였고, 유의한 차가 나타난 경우 Multiple Range Test(Scheffe)를 실시하였다. 분석한 결과 발레수행 시의 Pyridoxine섭취가 칼슘 농도에 통계적으로 유의한 차이(p<.05)를 나타났으며, Osteocalcin 및 아미노산 등에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 종합적으로 본 연구결과는 Pyridoxine섭취가 발레와 같은 신체활동수행에 Ergogenic Aids로서 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 주장을 지지하고 있지는 않다. 그러나 발레무용수와 영양과의 관계뿐만 아니라 Pyridoxine의 생화학적 대사과정에 관한 불명확한 연구 논제들은 Pyridoxine섭취와 신체활동수행 사이의 상호 작용을 직접적으로 규명할 수 있는 실험 설계 방법 및 기자재들을 사용하여 향후에 긍정적으로 연구되어 질 수 있다. 발레수행 동안 혈장에서 발생하는 피리독설 기질 재분포 구조의 중요성, 골격근에서 Pyridoxine대사 작용에 관여하는 집단특정 프로테아제(GSP)의 역할, 발레동작들이 심혈관 질환에 미치는 보호 효과에서 Pyridoxine 의 관련 가능성 등의 논제들이 향후 연구에서 수반 되어야 한다.         발레 활동시 pyridoxal phosphate섭취가 혈액 성분 및 혈중 지질농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpopse of this study was to determine the effect of pyridoxal phosphate supplementation with ballet exercise on cell blood components and blood lipids. 14 young female were participated in 4weeks study for a double blind and subjects were randomly assigned to one of the three groups, i.e., Group Ⅰ (n=4): placebo(2.4㎎/day); Group Ⅱ (n=5): pyridoxine(1.6㎎/day); GroupⅢ(n=5): pyridoxine(2.4㎎/day) with ballet exercise 3-5 times per week. Study subjects measured white blood cells(WBC), red blood cells(RBC), hematocrit(HCT), hemoglobin(Hb), triglyceride(TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) and free fatty acids(FFA), before and after the treatment. Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA), Multiple Range Test(Scheffe) were used to determine the statistical significance. There were no group differences in the hematocrit, hemoglobin and serum lipid lipoprotein, but WBC and RBC were significantly changed(p<.05). The result of this study does not lend support to the contention that pyridoxal phosphate intake has much practical impact on ballet exercise performance as a ergogenic acid. However, it does appear that several significant research topics in pyridoxal phosphate biochemistry metabolism as well as ballet exercise and nutrition can be explored profitably in the future using experimental designs involving interaction between pyridoxal phosphate status and exercise performance.

        자연과학분야 : 발레 무용수의 Branched-Chin Amino Acids(BCAA)와 TC/HDL-C ratio의 상관관계

        본 연구는 발레 무용수들을 대상으로 TC/HDL-C ratio, leucine, isoleucine, valine(BCAA)을 관찰변인으로 선정하여 TC/HDL-C ratio와 Branched-Chin Amino Acids(BCAA) 간의 상관관계를 규명함으로써 발레무용수들의 효율적인 무용수행능력과 체력 향상에 필요한 기초자료를 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상자는 연구의 목적을 충분히 이해하고 실험참가에 동의한 S대학교 발레전공 여대생 14명을 무선표집(random sampling)하였고 평상시와 같이 식생활을 유지하도록 하였다. 모든 연구 대상자들의 신체적 측정요인으로는 신장, 체중, 체지방률, 신체질량지수(BMI)를 측정하였다(In-Body 520, Biospace Co., Korea). TC 및 HDL-C 분석에는 Enzymatic Colorimetric, BCAA 분석에는 HPLC(Biochrom 20, U.S.A)으로 분석되었다. 구체적인 통계기법으로는 상관분석(analysis of correlation), 단순선형회귀분석(analysis of simple linear regression)을 사용하여, Durbin Watson검증을 통하여 잔차분석을 하였으며, 이때 유의 수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 연구결과는 발레무용수의 TC/HDL-C ratio을 종속변인으로 Branched Chain Acids(BCAA)인 Isoleucine, Leucine, Valine(BCAA)를 독립변인으로 한 단순회귀분석에서 각각 0.71, 0.50, 0.46의 설명력을 나타낸 회귀식이 성립됨으로써 발레전공 여대생의 TC/HDL-C ratio에 BCAA가 유의하게 영향을 미치는 독립변수로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 발레 무용수들의 Branched Chain Acids(BCAA)의 농도가 증가할수록 TC/HDL-C ratio가 낮게 나타날 것으로 예측할 수 있으며, 이러한 인과관계는 여성 발레무용수들의 발레 동작 및 연습 시 에너지 대사과정에서 BCAA의 효율적인 활용과 더불어 발레무용수들의 공연향상 뿐만 아니라 건강기능의 향상에 관한 효율적인 자료로 활용될 수 있다고 기대한다.
