For an efficient operation of today’s power system, power engineers are required to analyze enormous amount of data. Owing to the development of technology, a variety of power systems computational tools have been developed and commercialized. However, the practical use of computational tools not only requires that people be able to understand the results the tools produce but also extract the required information from the simulation results which generally involves massive amount of information. This paper introduces a novel interface that would complement the drawbacks in the visualization of data of the pre-existing tools and assist the user in readily retrieving the required information, in this case the rotor angle data, of the simulated system thereby making power system analysis more feasible to be effectuated.

This paper presents a study of an implementation of a close-loop real-time simulation system between RTDS and Hypersim. The closed-loop real-time simulation is a combination of two or more real-time simulation modules or systems in order to operate as one real-time system. The objective of the paper is to increase the flexibility and validity of the simulation by partitioning the study system to manipulate the advantages of each real-time simulation. This paper utilizes RTDS and Hypersim to implement the closed loop system and the network to be analysed is the modified CIGRE HVDC benchmark system. Comparisons are made with real-time simulation of RTDS for validation purposes.

Owing to the increase in the penetration of distributed generation the DGs connected to the distribution system have an effect on the system conditions of the transmission system and neighboring distribution systems. This makes the separate analysis of the transmission and distribution system no longer valid and requires the consideration of both the system in the analysis process. This paper proposes a transmission/distribution integrated analysis hybrid algorithm that would ensure the accurate analysis of the system by reflecting the results of the transmission and distribution system analysis on each other. Different scenarios are being analysed in order to verify the effectiveness of the hybrid algorithm by observing the effects of the DG connected distribution system on the transmission system and neighboring distribution systems. The algorithm and simulations performed are being conducted by MATLAB and the IEEE 30 bus system and a test distribution system has been utilized for the transmission and distribution systems respectively.
Cluster Modular Planning에 의한 住宅計劃硏究와 그 工法에 따르는 所要工費比較에 關한 考察

Author has compared a cluster modular house (own design) with the most popular housing plans in Korea during recent five years, and found that the cluster modular house shelved the higher superiority in the space saving and requiring the cost of construction. In the plan, author has provided a rural type of single story and urban style of two stories for the houses of middle class income and a type of single story for the low income class house. The former can extend the space from 10.2 to 20.4 pyong and later can enlarge the space from 5.1 to 15.3 pyong, from these selection can be freely made, according to the space and area sites. The several illustrations are made in a sight to show the clear comparative study on the advantages and disadvantages of every section of the houses and expenses, such has roof, floor, and detail of door and window, which has adopted CM.P. The designed modular house has saved much of the building costs using by highly modernized materials and equipments for sanitary, heating and pipings. The purpose of this study is to solve the housing troubles in Korea with the practical improvement on less expenses, and the more standardized mass production, having the better conveniences and varieties of perfact housing attachments.
