In this study, voltage variation effects on sound level of fire alarm system were examined. Followings are results. Within the voltage band of ±20% from 24V(center) which is standard voltage, the sound pressure level is considered to be stable but in the condition of -20% below voltage dropping, adequate sound pressure level output is not anticipated. Acoustic equipment which is far from receiver can not fulfill standard sound pressure level output due to voltage dropping and this could cause a problem that fire alarm could not be heard to inhabitants.

To build a basic data for Gwang-ju city noise map framing, road traffic noise measurement results and prediction value when using CRTN. RLS90 XPS31-133 programs were checked with measurement results of traffic noise of restricted area in Gwang-ju city. CRTN, RLS-90, XPS31-133 were used for noise level prediction. The results of this study are followings. When using RLS-90, the difference between prediction value and measured value is 1.1㏈(A) whereas using CRTN's case is 2.1㏈(A). This result means that these two programs are suitable for prediction of road traffic noise.
