Language is acquired through the universal and general development stages. This thesis has elucidated through what process the infant written language acquisition is done for the more effective language acquisition and examined through literature its teaching methods. The result is summarized as follows: o Views on the acquisition process of written language. 1. The development of written language competence is accomplished before formal education begins. 2. The competence for listening, reading, speaking and writing is mutually related. 3. The written language competence is developed through the activities in the living circumstances. 4. The infant conducts the determinate recognition work in the written language development process form birth to six. 5. The infant learns the written language by participating in its own world positively. 6. The infant experiences various methods according to ages in its written language development. o Views on the teaching of written language 1. As promoters of the written language environment, the role of adults, especially that of parents is very important. 2. Circumstances must be simplified for the infant who is an active learner. 3. The learning of written language must be naturally linted up with the technique of verbal language.
